  1. The street looked like every Victorian street scene she ever seen, well apart from the few steam cars which chugged along the streets. And of cause the Airships lazily floating across the sky, but then what parallel world would be complete without Airships? She considered a wander down towards the Thames to see if the river was as bad as she had read about during the Victorian age. A river in name only that resembled more unfortunate brown slurry, defiantly not something you’d want to swim down. She considered just changing and flying around the city, enough of the city would be similar enough she could navigate it quite comfortably. But thought better of it, you didn’t want to face Madam Redpowder withering stare if she ruined her makeup job. Instead she looked at the carefully written notes of Mr Peabody of the suitors who had requested to dine with Ada Wheatley, who look interesting enough to take luncheon with…
  2. “I said the 1920 not the Middle Ages.†Lucy gave a knowing smile; she looked at the numbers written on the page “Though in my time telephone numbers were a lot shorter.†Still if there was any problems she was sure that the operator would help her put. “And thank you again; I’m sorry I had to burden you with this, but I don’t think I can ever thank you for this help.†Lucy looked thought full for a minute then gave a big broad smile. “To be honest I’ve been a bit lost for the last few days trying to work out what to do with myself. But thanks to you I think I know exactly what I need to do.â€
  3. The moment she heard the grating Lucy sprang into action, spotting the descending gate she braced herself and caught the gate before it could fall any further. It might be the damp wet conditions but the gate didn’t seem to give her to much difficulty. She them locked her arms holding the gate in its current position, unless the Worm had any more surprises in store for this gate she should be able to hold it all days. “I’m fine at the moment, but I suggest we move. The twins might be in more trouble than we are.†She gave a move gesture with her head, her arms being full at the moment.
  4. k, Going to use my mighty strength to hold the gate 1d20+8+1=25,I'm guessing that'll do.
  5. It was probably bad manner among heroes to laugh at the foolish antics of their opponents. But she couldn’t help but smile at the comedy reactions to her blinding attack. But for now there was a more important foe to pay attention to. The light from everything going on allowed her to get a good look at this new opponent. She didn’t like what she could see, best to take him down as quickly as possible. She loosened off a quick burst of light at her opponent but the burst shot wide. Not a good start to impress your allies.
  6. Low level blast to start : 1d20+5=6, oops a miss. You wern't in a hurry to take him were you .
  7. Despite everything she couldn’t help but smile at the young man’s confidence, but then again that’s young men all over even in her time. At little too well built and tanned for her tastes but a charmer nether the less. And it would be nice to spend the day in someone elses company. “Why sir you do me an honor.†She gave a little mock bow “Maybe you could protect me from all the other less kindly sires who may try to gain my favors?†She gave her a wry smile. “And thanks for the offer of the suntan lotion, but I don’t really need it. I don’t tan easily.†she smiled at her own private joke “And I defiantly don’t burn in the sunlight.â€
  8. What looked like a simple robbery seemed to have taken a slightly bizarre turn with the arrival of some kind of babbling madman. And a super powered on at that. She had to end this as quickly as possible, before things really got out of hand. She concentrated and drew on the power she had within, concentrating she draw on the inner light within her, focusing it drawing it out until. “Okay this is going to be bright everyone close your eyes.†She released her power into a blinding white burst of light.
  9. K, Gonnas spend a hero point and stunt a Dazzle Attack : Dazzle 4 ( Extra: Area (Burst), Selective Attack) - Blinding burst of light. Everyone ou to 20ft, except my allies, need to make a Reflex save v DC 14 or be blinded.
  10. Standing in line Lucy was enjoying the sight and sound. As she watched a bus rumbled by with a few face she thought she’d recognized, of cause most of the people she’d met all wore mask so there was no way that she could be totally sure. She then listened intently as the “King and Queen“ of the fair declared her as the Lady of the joust. She bent low in her best curtsey. “Your majesties do me the greatest of honors.†She scanned to boy chosen to be her champions, she smiled at the thought she could probably beat then in a fight. Still she was going to enjoy being princess for the day.
  11. “It was nothing I just did what was necessary.†She brushed herself off and strode toward the window, looking at her reflection in the window. “Do you think I’m the woman was right? That I’m some kind of un-dead?†Lucy smiled weakly “I’m sorry to burden you; I’m still dealing with everything that’s happened to me in the last week.†She took a deep breath despite not need to breathe. “A week ago it was 1927 and I died, I wake up and it 2011.†So what do you think, do I deserve the axe? She gestured toward the hunter abandoned weapon.
  12. So if I understand this kicker thing correctly it puts the character in peril and also changelles an aspect of there personality. With that in mind how about this for Revenant. "Lucy tasted blood in her mouth, but all she could think of was how healthy her skin looked. The gangster lifted up her face and looked into her big brown eyes. "Long time ago one of our family tried to kill you. Guess I'm going to have to finish the job""
  13. It had been a while since she had been waited on hand and foot and she was going to enjoy it for all it was worth. “Of cause Mr Peabody. With your fine food and drink I may even be inclined to join in a sing song. If you don’t mind me doing so of cause. And I’m sure no one will give me any trouble.†She gathered up her outdoor clothing and her umbrella, know the vagaries of the London weather. “Before I partake of your fine establishment, I believe I shall take in the air and enjoy the sights of the fair city.†With that she left the Fat Goose to the cool early evening air of the city.
  14. Lucy felt a little embarrassed standing in the queue for the faire. Deciding to attend on a whim, after seeing a flyer on her explorations of the old Westside of the town, she now felt decidedly underdressed compared to the medieval finery on display in just the queue. Still the sunglasses were required what with her distinctive eyes; she was beginning to get recognized by a few people around the city. Still it was something she hadn’t tried before, the idea hadn’t been even conceived when she was young. Still it was lovely day and everyone seemed to be in a good mood. What could go wrong?
  15. Looks like you've got a lot of intrest going on! How many of these do you want to limit yourself to? I might have an idea, but I don't want to take up "all" your time :)
  16. Lucy smiled weakly as she picked herself up. “You wouldn’t believe the day I’ve had, actually the whole week been a little hectic.†She brushed herself down, noticing that the suit seemed completely unharmed by the entire encounter. Which was another strangeness on top of the day’s events. “Thank you for your help Silhouette. I’m not sure why they attacked me…“ though I suspect I know why “…but I would have struggled without your timely help.†She gestured to the hunter tied up “Does this kind of thing happen every day? Is it a normal occurrence?â€
  17. I'm still in if you'll have me.
  18. Annice smiled as a thought crossed her mind. “M… I assume that Ada was the kind of woman that would have been seen around town? If so wouldn’t it be a good idea for her to be seen in one of her old haunts? See if it shakes anything, or anyone, loose.†She gave one of her most charming smiles. “Of cause I’ll need some spending money, I double they take US dollars around here. I assume that this job has some kind of expense account?†Just to settle the thing she gave her best puppy dog eyes and hoped that M was that kind of father who couldn’t read his daughters wishes, and couldn’t say no to them.
  19. A Revenant, a creature returned to life after revenge. She thought of the last person who used that name and who took her life. But now was probably not the time to dwell on such thing. Seeing the woman running away she decided to stop the woman, after all she needed answers. She kicked off towards the woman and accelerated towards the hunter, only to continue accelerating faster than she had every gone before. Faster than she had ever seen anyone travel. In shock she lost her footing tumbling to the ground just behind the fleeing woman. Swearing in several different languages she picked herself off the ground as the hunter disappeared into the night.
  20. Okay my Notice roll (1d20+9=18)
  21. Iniative : 1d20+2=12
  22. No no no no There was no way that Bloody Nora was going to win this one. She kicked off and accelerated forwards, not letting anything in her way slow her down. The door shattered into pieces as she threw herself bodily through the wood, continuing to pick up speed. As she came out into the open she saw Steve struggling with someone else, she couldn’t make them out in the scuffle but she assumed the other would be Bloody Nora. She set her face in a look of grim determination and aimed herself towards the struggling assailants.
  23. Not one of her best, but she was happy that she had done it. She listened with her best game face as Mr Rattlepike tore apart he entire performance. She had however been insulted and criticized by professionals; he had nothing on the undiluted bile of the red top critics at full steam. Cause the fact she could launch him into orbit if she wanted help soften the blow. She smiled sweetly. “I’m not sure I can be quite as gay as you Mr Rattlepike, but I’ll try my best.†She tried to keep the ice out of her voice. “I feel sorry for your loss, I feel in some small way I understand the angelic Ms Wheatley.â€
  24. Time to show off her talents Peform (Singing) 1d20+7=17 That top end routine and borderline great. Let's see what the think...
  25. She stood on the stage looking out at all he seats feeling like she was six playing dressing up. It reminded her of when she first auditioned to be a star standing there looking nervously, until she had to open her mouth to sing. What a lot of people forgot through all the vocoder and manufactured sound was that little Agnes could actually sing. A song came to her there a personal favourite of her mother. She took a deep breath and began to sing. “Baby, you understand me now if sometimes you see that I'm mad. Don't you know that no one alive can always be an angel? When everything goes wrong, you see some bad. But I'm just a soul whose intentions are good; oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood.â€
