OoC for this. Give me the best version of an alternate version of one of you characters, then we'll have them going on interdimensional shenagians! Jot down a few lines of how they are different here so we can keep track of anything, they will go on to be heroes so keep that in mind. This is a semi-social thread with the plan to spin off into one or more threads, so please don't feel put off by the number of people so far.

ic If you meet yourself on the road... [Open]
Tiffany Korta posted a topic in Else Ifs and What Worlds
Nowhere, nowhen As you wake up your eyes are assaulted by the stark whiteness of nothing, as if everything was bleed together into a single bright nothing. All that you can see was is the think wisps of fog that swirl around your sleeping form. Thinking back you have a vague memory of what had happened just before you awoke here, you can’t tell yet if it was good or bad but you have a feeling that it was momentous. Though with the bright whiteness maybe it was you last thing... Through the darkness though you hear the sounds of others shrouded in the mist, so at least you are not alone. Hopefully they’ll be friendly. -

Ms Bright It seems she still had the element of surprise so Agnes was more than happy to take it and with a smirk she flew up to punch the Crimson Crush in that smug face of hers. She be waiting to do that since she’d started this bluff, and it felt really good. “I’ve been waiting all day to do that!” She cracked her knuckles and looked at the other, still with that grin on her face. “Normally this would be the point where a real hero would offer you a chance to go quietly, unfortunately for you I’m not that kind of hero and you’ve got a lot to answer for! Lets see if it true that you can beat some sense into people...”

Miss Grue It seemed that Daphne was playing network for everyone, not that she minded, so it seemed only fair that Mother Unit also helped out. The advanced Grue Synthetic Intelligence reached out to the two other synthetics working on that part of the projects. Maybe I can be of some assistance? I can wireless link to any needed machine up to 300 kilometres. In a slightly sterner voice in Galactic she added <And please watch your language young lady, we should set an example for the younger software.> After smiling at the part of the conversation she could hear Daphne put on her game face to the other members of there little team. “Okay lets see what we have as a team to use here.”

White Lioness “Should I tell them about the electric cars like we have back home? Or would that complicate thing further?” Àjàṣorò whispered slightly amused to her brother. Still she should really try and help show this newcomer around, she was a new student around her not that long ago really. “I always enjoy the little Zen garden we have here, it’s a garden without plants where you can meditate… I guess you’d describe that as calming the mind. It’s a nice place to just slow down and enjoy the moment.” Not a good start, still she was making an effort.

Zhenshchina-voin It was a little bitter sweet for Klara to return to Ukraine as well having last been in the area in 1943 liberating the Ukrainians from the Germans, only to fall to the Soviet Union. Though she remembered some pleasant night in that Hero City. Only around five thousand kilometres from home, still there was another people that needed a fair hearing on if they were free home could wait for another time. “It’s been a long time and I’m not sure the little Ukrainian I know will help us here, so it’s lucky that many here speak Russian.” She was us to getting stares, towering above most people, and she wandered what the locals thought of her having a greater connection to Russia media, even if the Russians weren’t the favour the month here. “Are we going to get a local guide / baby sitters for this one, or are they going to let us wander the countryside alone?”

Ms Bright Having dealt with gangs like the 88’s, if not them themselves she never really stop to check such things, Agnes wasn’t ready to pussy foot around with them. Standing up she took the air quickly calculating the right time to take them out without endangering anyone around them. Then when she had the perfect moment she teleported above the van dropping down rapidly through the air. At the last moment she brace driving her elbow through the engine block. Bracing with her shoulder to take the force of the suddenly stopping vehicle.

Zhenshchina-voin “Please call me Klara, no need for formalities we’re all friend here after all, and I think you need the help of a big sister rather than a warrior woman.” The mention of her homeland, one denied to her due to a bigots that controlled the land where here people hid themselves from the world of man. But she wasn’t about to deny this young man her help, she wasn’t a sage but she had gained some wisdom in her years among humanity. “Love isn’t a battle to be won, it is a thing of beauty like a wok of art. Sometimes you may enjoy it briefly or savoured for the rest of your lives. It is important that any descisions as your futures are not something for you to decide for yourself, you partner must involved in such things as well. There is far to go but people here are more accepting of whatever lifestyle you choose to live, when I arrived many would not accept who I choose to love... And now thanks to bigots I cannot return to my home.” she forced herself to smile and think or happier things. “As to those physical things I am not the best person to ask in such manners, my college over there would be happy I’m sure to explain the basics for you.” she gestured towards Foreshadow.

Emerald Spider With some dexterity despite the extra weight of the container Emerald Spider managed to dump it on top of the others, which she figured would be enough to contain the villain for long enough. “If my calculation are right we they should be running out of air pretty soon, we need to act quickly once they pass out to properly contain them.” As dangerous as the foe was she didn’t want to harm or kill them, just contain them safely for the authorities. “This could be when they’re at there most dangerous so we should be careful.”

Madame Raven For some reason she couldn’t quite identify a clay like shapeshifter made a little nervous, though she managed to hide it to just a step back a bit. Still she didn’t have any reason to fear the teens so she put on a brave face and tried to inject a little humor into her voice. “Callie, Callie Sen, really we should have those little name tags to save trouble with all this introductions.” she smiled at the others, she got quite a lot of her charm from her mother. “I know its hard to believe but I was actually here when I was younger, I’m one of those irritating people who remember stuff from when I was little, for me it’s almost like it as yesterday…” she tried not to smirk at her own personal joke “Has this place changed much since before it became Claremont?”

Miss Grue Daphne must have still been a little confused by the lack of minds as she was slow to react to situation, the general weirdness that was there normal bread and butter. Even Mother Unit seemed a little slow with her concern, or the action of Eira caused made her idignet with her actions. Are human Synthetic Intelligences always as blunt with each other? Should I maybe assist the assailed party? No we need to find out what's going on and Eira is an ally after all. The arrival of this new woman began to reveal some information about what was going on apparently they weren’t the target of this transportation, but she wasn’t insulted at all and this wasn’t exactly her first alternative dimension either. “Well I can’t answer for the others, but if I’m here maybe I can help you out with whatever you needed the League here?”

ic A good heart these days is hard to find...
Tiffany Korta replied to Tiffany Korta's topic in Bedlam City
Doctor Rosa Thorne Rosa wasn’t the best at this whole thing but with a glass in hand, and the odd sip just for “effect”, she did the tour around the room. Not being anyone of importance she hadn’t attracted any attention, she was practically invisible something that irked her for a variety of reasons but now wasn’t the time to make a show. Quickly it was obvious that there was a sections of the house guarded by well dressed but still burley security. A short distance from the door Rosa examined the guard as she helped herself to another drink and some canapés as she quickly worked out a quick plan to get past them and through the door. -

ic Meanwhile at the stately Summers Manor...
Tiffany Korta replied to Tiffany Korta's topic in North Bay
Madame Raven In another unexpected reaction for a Callie she begun to blush at the memory that Ashley bought to mind. “I was thirteen and thought I was so cool and then… I thought I was dying there and then! Managed to make it all the way home in my tennis… well I guess you couldn’t call them whites at that point.” She smiled a little wistfully at a much better memory, though tinged with a little sadness. “It was strange to see my mom trying to have a normal conversation, she’s was still alive when I left and I didn’t know about my ancestor.”- 47 replies

Ms Bright Sitting on a nearby roof Agnes was wandering just why she was here. For the longest time she’d had some reluctance to cross the river that separated to two halves of Freedom City. But with such an event some of the homeless she knew had decided to join in the celebration she’d decided to keep an eye on them. Celebrating crowds could be generous but it only took a few drinks for trouble to starts, that's why she was sat on the rooftop to act as there protector. With so many people around she wasn’t short for energy, and she wasn’t hiding away as a broody presence her protective aura glowing softly around her.

Miss Grue It had been quite a whilst since Daphne had been in true silence, without the constant awareness of life around her, it was in some way comforting as it reminded her of growing up in space when it was just her and Mother Unit. Where are we? I do not pick up anything major within my detection radius. You mean we’re not in Kansas any more? She was a little concerned but had some confidence that this would quickly reach a satisfactory conclusion, the door she’d just found was a good start at least. I do wish you would take this situation more seriously, we could be in serious danger right now. Following the tunnel Daphne was much more confident that this was just some form of misunderstanding, she could even begin to feel that there might be people around. And the sign was welcoming. See look its completely fine. “Well the sign is close enough for me I guess! Hello all any idea of why we’ve been bought here?”

White Lioness Àjàṣorò ready to go stuck a pose ready to start sparring, she always enjoyed a chance to test herself against others. She’s not seen the others fight so she wasn’t sure what type of opponent she would face and how her dexterous fighting style would coupe. What was it they say about an untested thing… “Well they let’s get to this? Let’s start with the basics, see if you can hit me, nothing to solid to start with let’s stick to open palm methods.” To illustrate her point, she showed her empty palms, before bringing them up again in a defensive pose.
-
Zhenshchina-voin Designed for battle her armour was quick to don so she allowed the others a chance to get prepared themselves. She was interested to see how the new member would handle the situation, at least things had gone smoother than the last person she’d met from the far past even from her perspective. It was a little comforting that at even over three hundred there were people even older in the world. “You should have spent time in the forces, it was mostly waiting around with moments of sheer terror. By most accounts this should be much more enjoyable experience.” she smiled at Dreadnought knowing his discussions from many hours of such things “We obviously need to introduce you to the ideas of healthy eating and the gym my sestra. The two of us aren’t exactly the definition of normal for such things.”
-
Zhenshchina-voin Klara followed along taking note of everything as she followed alone, though offer considered loud (something she often encouraged) she could be quiet when necessary. Not that she could ever blend into the background with her impressive size. Ducking into the office she took in the scene greeting of the woman, just a handshake for now as she didn’t want to overwhelm the poor woman. “Klara Mathews and I’d love a cuppa, you got some of that decent Yorkshire stuff?” her picked up accent was a little stronger than normal

GM Post From the perfect silver hull a small patch shimmered as it formed a hatch and a beam of light flashed down to the grown, along with a slight hum of power. If you step into the beam it will take you up to the ship, I am told it tickles a bit but will cause you no serious harm. I would have Baby land but that would cause some disruption and I do not want Daphne to get any more trouble than she will be already. A few of the fellow students were looking up at the craft with some awe, and it probably wouldn’t be long before some teachers showed up.
