Zhenshcina-voin Unaffected by the wind Klara gently floated down to touch down beside Foreshadow, a quick friendly hug as she was ready to follow these leads. Though gossip was obviously important to get out of the way first. “The youngest wanted to bring home another boyfriend, I think this one may be more serious. I think she uses me to keep them in line, for some apparently I am quite intimidating!” she grinned knowing for certain what other thought about the Amazonian woman. “This is related to the stories of my ancestors, obviously I have an interest.” A small part of her briefly considered using these artefacts to travel home to again see her people, though that wasn’t important for now.

Zhenshcina-voin “Everyone here is a Sestra, even Mr Grumpypants over there! We look after each other like family.” She gently put down the piece of equipment and went over to see what all the fuss was about, interested in the new girl and the case Foreshow was, badly, working on. “The Sweeny, Tracy loved that show… but that probably doesn’t help.” she thought for a few seconds before adding “Not all the Ministries files have been digitised, maybe it’s up in the paper files, or you know how the various groups dislike sharing. Have you had VERA peek at the Met files?” With a smile she tried to explain it to Muirne. “These are not a traditional warriors you cannot just defeat them in a straight battle, though that is fun as well. We need to dig out the leaders and bring them to justice so they can’t just carry on with new warriors.”

Emerald Spider “Hello Mrs Pak I’ll have the usual please, and a coffee best make it strong!” After a long day at work, and the various heroing, Peri was tired and wanted to do nothing more than curl up and catch up on her shows. But this message from Justice was important, as (somehow) the elder stateswoman of the heroes of Emerald City it was important that she make the effort to get involved. It was a little showing off but she jumped up and balanced on the top of the chair, her natural reflexes and the Spdr Rig allowing her to perch without much effort. “I guess you found a chance to check this place out after all! So how’s it going Justice?”

Zhenshchina-voin Dressed down in a pair of suitably sized dungarees the very tall Amazonian woman Klara came through carrying a massive piece of equipment without any apparent effort. When she saw the newcomer she stopped and grinned at her and Dee. “So this is the new little sister you’ve been telling us about?” she picked up a faint Yorkshire accent on her decades in this country “In case you couldn’t tell I’m Klara Svoboda, I’d shake your hand or give a hug but you know..” she’d gestured towards the machinery she was carrying “Any questions don’t hesitate to ask, I’ve been doing this for a very long time!”
-
Zhenshchina-voin “It is a shame we can’t send her to spend time among my people, or even those weird Welsh warriors the Ministry can never seen to find.” She had never visited the place but had heard good things about this academy, it’s probably why the Ministry never tried to found on of there own. “I wish I had something like that when I entered man worlds, some much was confusing to young eyes. But then it was during wartime.” she thought for a moment before adding “We should go visit to make sure it is up to our standards, we do counts as her family to a point. And I want to make sure my little sister will fit in well, and a little bit of curiosity about this place.”

VALKYRJA Bobbi gave a little shrug, she was use to Sanngriðr but she knew that to others the Asgardian could be quite a handful. “I wouldn’t take it as a given, it’s never easy when Asgardians are involved. I’m sure that there will be some quest of other that we’ll have to go on. And don’t worry about the whole secret identity thing, its all still new for me as well.” She wandered into the cave, waiting for Meta-naut to follow, talking as she did. “Sorry about the whole no indoor voice thing, she tries but she really doesn’t understand the issue. She’s a really Valkyrie, Sanngriðr, there are a few lines in a saga somewhere, whilst I’m just Canadian!” she grinned a flopped down on the sofa “We were bound together in an incident she tell much better. I’m also a Doctor…” she looked at Raya more seriously “And living like this for a while isn’t the best, any problems I should know about?”
-
VALKYRJA Frárvængr appeared above the choppy white waters of the Atlantic, the buffering winds not seeming to effect the mighty steeds wing beats. Below was the cliff of the southern portion of Nova Scotia the area laid out below. At such height with the wind most people would be difficult to be heard, but Sanngriðr wasn’t most people. “BEFORE WE GO HOME THERE IS SOMETHING I WISH TO SHOW YOU, SOMEWHERE IMPORTANT TO BOTH MYSELF AND UMKOOMEESKW.” As she spoke she gently encouraged Frárvængr to start flying inland.

The Traveller “I’ve been around a long time and still I’ve only visited a fraction of those stars…” Sitara had inadvertently snuck up on the two Squires as they’d talked “Problem is they keep make new civilizations all the time! Still that's half the fun after all. It’s still time to move out, Squire B’Ka would you let our Fryxus friend know we’re ready and I’ll tell the Lor.” She’d found the two just as Fa’Rua had finished her message, catching the language that was being use. “So you know of Earth huh? Don’t tell anyone but that’s where I’m originally from.” her English was near flawless “Once we’re done I’d like to hear about the old planet, it’s been a… while since I visited the place. But now it’s time to move out, gather your stuff and lets get going.”

Emerald Spider With her Spdr Rig enhanced strength Peri lifted another container to help contain the villain for another few minutes. Her engineering brain did a quick calculation, having to guess the guys metabolic rate, and she figured that they’d be at the point of beginning to use up the oxygen in the container. “We only need to keep him contained for a little while longer and he should become unconscious. We’ll need to move quick once that happens.” She dropped the container with a large clang, for now all she could do was wait and hope her makeshift barrier would hold just a little while longer.

Emerald Spider Swinging down from on her quantum filament Peri only had a few seconds to decide a course of action as she lined herself up to a nearby skyscraper. She wasn’t a tactical genious by any means but she’d been doing this a while and had a good sense for such things. Best thing to do for now was to slow things down to give everyone a chance to react to the attack. “Leaving already when we’ve just been introduced? How about we stick around for a little while? Oh high guys.” she gave a little wave at the other heroes, both of who she’d worked with before. With a series of hand signals she laid down a small area of quantum stickiness to keep the fleeing villains in place.

Bad War of the World reference, I'll shorting it to just exasperated. And CoVic is squeezed in right at the end of the first paragraph, I can expand if needed. -
The Immutable Betsy Brooks If it wasn’t booze it was coffee that kept Betsy going, ciggies were always a no go in someone else's car, so she’d insisted on a refill among with there second breakfast order. Fuelled by caffeine and able to thing of things other than a hangover she began to explain her theory. “So about the time our friend went into the box there was these girls that turned up in New Orleans from France. They were called Casquette Girls and the story is they were vampires sent to set up a court over here. Tried to visit the convent where they’re meant to be held but the good sisters wouldn’t let me in, either there’s to much vampire in me or they heard what I did when I was sent to convent school.” she took a big gulp of her coffee before adding “So my theory is that they were sent to Vibora as well, just not as obviously, though I’ll be buggered if I know who sent them here.”

GM Post Even though Vibora was generally flat Oldcorne still seemed to be above the rest of the city, as if it was trying to keep it out of the swamp. It was probably why it they had a cemetery up here rather than squirreling it away from the city. Even the houses looked like they’d be more fitting on the East Coast or even away in Europe. This was a part of the city that somehow felt older than everything around it, maybe it was just as undead as the woman they’d not long left behind. Still despite that someone needed to cut the root out of this part of the city, so it might as well be them.

Lucy Harker Hearing sounds from beyond, and having given her warning, Lucy put her shoulder to force the door. Being able to lift a car without any effort the door wasn’t any real struggle at all, though she guilty noted that she’d have to owe Jada for the damage. What she saw beyond the door was worrying on many levels, she’d faced both werewolves and vampires and wolves and it could be difficult to tell which was which. She’d not had a chance to determine Strix’s blood prowess and whether he do such things or whether there was another supernatural creature here tonight. “I suggest you stand down before trouble starts”

Triakosia The alien had a point, though she couldn’t help but feel that he was still trying to provoke them. So whilst this was probably on the level he couldn’t be trusted completely. Still he had useful information and they could use and more importantly he could become an ally. “We’ve beaten them off before and I’m sure we can do it again. Maybe we could do even better with your help?” She paused to let the offer peculate before adding “We have people that can help you settle in and find a place on this Earth, but we need to know we can trust you not to make a fuss.”

To bring up an old argument in a new way why not have the base under the Shard instead?

Ms Bright Agnes had to careful consider her words, so not to say the wrong thing and upset them all. At least not until she’d discovered all the secrets going on here. But she couldn’t help but at least say something at this point. “The darkness is nothing without the light. After all how can we enjoy the blanket of pure darkness without the extinguishing of the light?” Hopefully this was enough because whilst the darkness was nice she was pretty much in favour of the light, being part of her schtick and all, and wasn’t sure she could bluff it out for very much longer.

Emerald Spider Having to work meant Peri wasn’t able to keep track of much of the trial, and with Emerald City law not catching up yet Emerald Spider could testify on the prosecution’s behalf. Still everything seemed to have gone well and she’d made sure to be nearby when the villains was being taken away, perched on the side of a building nearby (in costume) watching just in case something went wrong. “Of course, thing would go wrong, this is Emerald City” when to sound of shots rang out. Pulling up her scarf over her mouth she made the right hand gestured to send out a string of quantum filament to swing down towards the unfolding scene.

Zhenshchina-voin “I shall bear that in mind for next time!” she looked over to Coyote and added “After the fight we have you may also have a hug as well, if you wish.” Whilst waiting she looked over at the teens playing around in the pool, feeling a little wistful at the memories it bought up. “Ah the antics of teenagers, I remember when I was that age diving into the lake to impress a girl I was into. Boy did it give me mothers a big shock that day! Luckily my own daughters were much better behaved.”

VALKYRJA The woman smiled down reassuringly at the other hero, they were at something of an advantage in the manner of lost soul. She was a little rusty but on this matter she was something of an expert. “THEN YOU ARE IN LUCK FOR BEFORE MY VALKYRJASVEFN I WAS A VALKYRIE A COLLECTOR OF THE HONOURED DEAD TO THE HALLS OF VALHÖLL. THOUGH I WILL HAVE TO ASK THE ALL FATHER TO BRIEFLY RESTORE MY GIFT SO A BRIEF TIME. THIS SHOULDN’T TAKE TO LONG SO DO NOT THREAT WHILST I’M AWAY.” In a few moments Valkyrja faded away as she went to communicate with her old boss, leaving the surprising form of Bobbi Foster behind. “Urm, surprise I guess? We could be here a little while so I guess we should pass the time, do you have any cards on you?”
