Centuria Kate couldn't help but feel how awkward it was to the alien, as an orphan of another world herself she couldn't help but emphasise how hard it could be sometimes. "We have a... place up near the Arctic Circle. Maybe we can arrange a trip sometime? The cold never bothers me anyway..." realising how that could be taken she added "Sorry, that wasn't meant as a joke. I've been told I can survive in the depths of space. Not that I've ever been, can't even fly yet!"

Mz Grue There was the slightest of pauses, and those who were telepathic could hear a buzz like an overhead whisper, they somehow this featureless cube seemed to soften in mood "I'm sorry that was uncalled of me!" her tone was much more friendly, almost motherly "It's always a pleasure to meet such a nice young woman as yourself... I'm sure all of you are just as pleasant!" she gently floated back to her original position "Besides her art is terrible!" Daphne added with a grin "Can't seem to get the hang of appendages for some reason!" carefully balancing several conversations, along with all her luggage, she glanced over a Spore "Oh I've never really gotten into video games, too much violence to aliens for my tastes!"

Madame Raven Cassie set the grapple on automatic and clipped it to her waist, her own body weight should be enough to counterbalance all the forces. As long as things work here as they should in the real world. "Might need a hand here if they decide to mess with the line!" Stepping back to get a more distance from the nearby break she sent one of her Raven Claws towards the thing. For now, she wasn't overly keen to be touched by the things, high-tech composite materials could only do so much when faced with walking rends in reality!

Centuria Dancia was about to reply when she seemed to look off into the middle distance, before glancing at her cell. "Sorry girls something has come up and I've got to run! Pleasure meeting you all!" with that she quickly ducked out of sight Kate wasn't overly concerned she was used to such things, besides she'd have to get to know all these people soon enough anyway. "So looks like we're from quite a wide range of places! I was born in Canada, but I've grown up all my life here in Freedom City!"

Centuria (and Triakosia) "Very nice uniform, see I can be a trendsetter!" the owner of the voice was a woman in her apparent thirties, dressed in a conservative pantsuit "I'm just bringing my daughter here for her first day..." she gestured with a small, confused-looking ginger cat in her hands. "Not the cat, obviously, though I guess you can never tell in a place like this!" A slightly embarrassed teen stepped around, dressed in a baggy Freedom City hoodie and jeans. "I'm sorry my Mom never got a chance to study here, so apparently she's living vicariously through me!" she looked back to her mom, who with all her maturity stuck her tongue out at her daughter "Anyway pleased to meet you all I'm Kate!"

Mz Grue "Hi all pleased to meet you!" As she spoke she sent Mother Unit gently spinning through the air until it was just in front of Renee. "One of the most intelligent General Artificial Intelligences on this planet and I reduced to such indignities..." her surfaces shimmed slightly as she spoke "And I do not draw pictures and I will not provide text with a prompt so don't ask!" "She has been in an argument with a Chatbot all morning, that's why she's in a foul move. Apparently, they're going to finish the discussion when the Chatbot gets off shift!" And yes I'm telepathic as well she told Mattie But it's natural so alas I can't teach you how it's done. Don't worry though I won't read your mind with permission! "Looks like I'm in Room 312!"

Mz Grue "Who knew that what you needed to do to impress people!" the voice came not from the young woman but a small cure, that didn't seem to catch the light, perched on top of a trunk floating behind her "I'm sorry Mother Unit is a little tetchy today..." the young woman gave a little embarrassed shrug "I'm Daphne Celeste, a pleasure to meet you all!" She could feel the enthusiasm coming off Mattie, let alone what was leaking from her telepathically, but chose not to say anything. She didn't want to show up Iris who she remembered meeting just a few months ago. And besides the keen young students' experience, the wild and wacky potential friends was something she knew well from various media!

Centuria Power Level: 7 (105/108PP) Unspent Power Points: 3 Trade-Offs: +1 Attack / -1 Damage In Brief: Daughter of the Greatest of Heroes has to live up to her legacy. Theme: (Optional) A theme song for the character. Alternate Identity: Katherine "Kate" Melita Devon-Leeds (Secret) Birthplace: The Sanctum, Thor Island Residence: Freedom City Base of Operations: Claremont School Occupation: Student Affiliations: Claremont Family: Mark Leeds (Presumed Deceased), Dancia Leeds (Presumed Deceased), Dancia Devons (Step-Dimensional Mom) Description: Age: 16 (DoB: 9th October 2007) Gender: Female Ethnicity: Mixed Height: 5'7" Weight: 130 lbs. Eyes: Brown Hair: White Blonde It is tough to stand out when the school's uniform is the classic costume worn by the family, but Kate tries her best. Over the top of a blue jumpsuit, she wears a short gold jacket instead of the gold breastplate of her parents. She wears regular blue trainers, though because they don't tend to last they're relatively cheap. With natural blonde hair making her stand out, she relies on colour-changing nanites to recolour it in her civilian identity, normally black, and the old standby of a pair of glasses. Clothing wise she wears stylish but comfortable clothes, normally relatively cheap as you can only do so much with your mom on a reporter's salary! History: On an Earth, much like Prime the two refuges of Pax Roma, Centurion and Triakosia, arrived at roughly the same time. And with no one else able to understand just what they lost they began a friendship that slowly turned into love. Married the two continued to be the world's premier superhero, with only a slight slowdown when the two had their child, Kate. But saving the world comes with risks and the two heroes faced an opponent that they knew was near impossible to defeat, so with a heavy heart they went off to fight for their adopted world. But before they left Dancia used a portal in The Sanctum to hand off their young daughter to the Prime Earth's Dancia so she could be raised safely once they were gone. The link was lost and neither of them were able to find that Earth again, so they assumed that indeed both of them had bravely fallen in battle. Despite being on her own, her Centurion was a cat and hence little use in child rearing, Dancia raised Kate as her own trying to keep her away (mostly) from the superhero community so she could have a relatively normal upbringing. As much as you could with one of the world's most powerful heroes as your (step) mom. But as Kate came into her teens her powers began to manifest, more slowly than either of her parents, and wanting to do good she got into a few scrapes against more experienced villains. So bowing to the inevitable, Dancia arranged for Kate to go to Claremont in the Fall, though she really isn't sure about the name she'd chosen... Personality & Motivation: Kate is friendly, kind, and generous, willing to drop everything to help a friend at a moment's notice. She also despite her best efforts not cool, though she's in that group where she is generally left alone from trouble, when not standing up against bullies. One mistake many make is to equate that friendly optimism with naivety when her mom has always made sure to keep her ground and be aware of the ways of the world, good and bad. Powers & Tactics: Kate's inherited her family's instincts when faced with a threat is to make sure that innocents are kept away from any possible danger, if she can she'll draw the danger away from them or failing that remove them from any potential harm. Only then when everyone is safe will she turn her attention to defeating the enemy, even if that means taking a bit of a beating. Power Descriptions: Whilst she had inherited the near invulnerable both of her parents she has yet to develop all of their powers, including that of flight. It seems that her body naturally absorbs this energy in her day-to-day life and as she ages her full range of powers will eventually develop. At the moment she's just incredibly strong and durable whilst being able to leap a quarter of a mile in a single bound. Complications: Just a Normal Teenage Girl: Kate is trying to be, as much as possible, a perfectly normal teenage girl. The Bigger they are...: It's impossible not to be aware of the legacy of her heritage and, despite being repeatedly told she doesn't have to, feel the need to fill those very big shoes. To that end, she tends to bite off much more than she can handle, may that be a natural disaster or a powerful supervillain. Traveller Sitara sidled up to her commander, and friends, once all the official business was dealt with. She'd had her share of such things and she'd never been a big fan of all this faffing about with ceremony. "Shame about the wedding, I'd had something nice picked out all special and everything! That aside it wouldn't hurt to kick back a little more, date or otherwise, you've been burning the candle at both ends since I first met you all those years ago." Mention of time led her to look out of the windows at the brightest and closest star, that of all these Terrans called their home system. "The Terrans have a saying that you can't go home again, and I worry that it might be true. After all, I just called them Terrans like a native Lor!" she laughed nervously and added, "I really should go and see just how much has changed since I left, when all this has settled down obviously!"

Starshine Whilst she wasn't as experienced as some of those here, or even her fellow students, but she had still learned one or two tricks over the last few years at Claremont. And if ever there was a time to use some of those tricks, now was probably the best time to use such things! She began to gather all the power she had at hand as she worked out a flight path that got her as close to as many of the drones as she could manage. This could make things worse for her after the fact, but that was a problem for (near) future her. Once she gathered all the power and got into position, she let all the energy she had gathered into a burst that rolled out to engulf some of the drones in those damaging energies. Not perfect in the slightest, but not a terrible start now she was rapidly approaching being that future her!

Okay, let's try something! Try and fly to get as close to as many flying drones and such and spend a HP to do a burst of light. Burst of Light 8 (Extra: Area General Burst) [16PP] So 40ft radius and a DC 23 saving throw.

Sorry for being super late, no excuses just me being lame! She can grapple 50ft or glide 440ft, if there's any kind of consistent breeze to get into the right place, kept it super vague so either or a combination works. if necessary will spend a hp to get an extra action so it all works out.

Madame Raven As hard as it was Callie knew she shouldn't focus on the strange environment, instead thinking of the place like a giant jungle gym to get her to where she needed to go. As leap, a tumble here, a grapple when needed, she even spent a moment gliding in the strange messed up breezes of this place. It seemed like hours, it could be considering this weird messed up place. But finally, she was close enough to put her, simple, plan into action. With the care and attention of someone well-practised she captured the woman in her grapple ready to pull her toward them and out of danger. Now she had to hope none of the shadows interfered before she could finish the job...

Starshine Rosalind always tried to keep up a positive attitude in the worst of situations, but with a sky full of drones it was a struggle. Zig-zagging around to try and keep out of their way she fired off a few shots at one of the more impressive-looking drones, all the while wondering just where all the heavy hitters were in the sky. "Got to say this is really not the way I saw the day going when I got up this morning!"

We're just the worst really! Straight-up attack Attack Roll: 1d20+8=19, if it hits DC 23 toughness.

Madame Raven Hong Kong Hair (1) Teenage Dream (1) Mz Grue The House of the Caged Sun (1) Ref Point to Merge please.

Will Save: 1d20+10=28

Toughness Save: 1d20+8=10, let's go for a reroll here! So... 1d20+8=10, something really wants that roll to stand! At least its an 18, which I believe is just a Bruise.

If possible I'd like to grapple the poor woman, gently, and pull her towards us. Maybe some light platforming to get nearer, assuming throwing chunks of metals isn't going to do more than make the holes mad!

Mz Grue "He's a very active person! If he doesn't get something to keep him busy he'll get cranky. And cranky means pranks, and you really don't want that to happen!" She leaned and held up one of her hands, mock whispering to the AI. "Have you heard of the Great Honey Heist? No well that was him, the Racoons feasted very well that day and Cyril learned not to cross Forever Boy!" If they wanted a story, might as well make it a whopper!
