Liam Conner Liam was not a complicated fighter, he didn’t fight like a superhero, but he was a competent warrior that he’d learned on the battlefield. It helped that the calming voice of Rosa was keeping him focused, though she wasn’t a calm presence. Still he picked his moment and struck a powerful punch sending the large cultist sprawling. He allowed himself a brief moment of pride at the blow, but only that there was still more weirdness to deal with and Rosa had a mystery she was biting at the bit to solve.

Miss Grue Daphne had only a few moments ahead of the “real” Lynn, picking up on Davyd’s panic just ahead of the expansion. She chose to go insubstantial, something that she was sure she was the only Grue able to do such things. She floated above the mass of expanded student, telepathically speaking into his mind so he wouldn’t miss things in his panic. She allowed Lynn into the telepathic call so she’d know what was going on. Don’t worry most shapeshifters have a few teething problems when they start, for the longest time I couldn’t manage humans faces at all! Shrinking down she stood on his shoulder, like his own Jiminy Cricket. Okay try to imagine in your mind's eye the shape you want you body to take, then imagine yourself shifting into that shape until they’re the same. I know you’re more than capable of such a task, just takes a little practice is all.

White Lioness White Lioness didn’t hesitate for a moment, leaping onto the skycycle and zipped up towards the nearest flying pirate ship. This was exhilarating and remined her of similar ones she had back home, but she should really get one for use when heroing. But she hadn’t convinced them to let her get a car for herself, let alone a super flying bike. They definitely wouldn’t have agreed if they saw what she did next, with the bike hovering over the ship she dived down onto the deck of the ship, rolling herself upright on impact ready to fight off anyone who’d seen her landing.

White Lioness Her father had told stories about how terrible convoluted time shenanigans tended to go, and she could well understand how that could happen. Or at least she that what she figured was happening, it was always difficult to tell with these things. “We might have to consider that idea that we’re going to be Next-Gen, time travels and some such.” She whispered into her team-mates “I know this might be a little fuzzy, but how about we start at the very beginning, the beginning appropriate to why you’re here right now!” Hopefully that would focus them on why they were here, and leave out the less important details.

Miss Grue If Daphne was disappointed that he wasn’t going to be family, at least for now, she didn’t show it. But then again telepaths and empaths were always the best at hiding their emotions, and Daphne was always hopeful in all her endeavors anyhow. “The idea is we can offer our help in controlling your power as much or little as you like. I’ll give you my number and you can call anytime you need help, I need to sleep so you might get Mother Unit be she has an extensive database on such things. We can also arrange practice sessions as often as you need.” She thought about what Lynn displayed and thought what else she could add before adding. “Appearance are a useful ability but with a little practice a shapeshifter can do so much more, for instance…” She grew in size until she was a least a good deal taller than then, but with enough head space so not to hit the ceiling. Her clothes being of Grue designed adjusted with her to increased size.

Miss Grue It was always nice when everyone got a chance to get back together, or even better meet new people. Just the general psychic buzz was good enough, but to see peoples happy faces was an added bonus. And she was secure enough that she could sit back and let everyone catch up, this was an ensemble show after all! Whilst they did she decided to try on of those delicious looking cupcakes, extended her arm outstretching to grab one without having to get out of her seat and interrupt anybody. She tried to be subtle, as subtle as you could be with stretching arms. Sweet sugary things were her favourite after all!

White Lioness Keep moving and don’t let them distract you, that’s what her trainers had tried to drum into here over the years. At least when she wasn’t skipping combat training, she’d never expected to be in this position after all. The spirit of the Lioness helped to fill her with the abilities of her ancestors. The thing was not to hit every-time, though that was nice, it was to keep trying until you made the hit’s that counted. The focus was so complete that she had no time for witty retorts or clever comments, no it was about keeping moving all the time.

Triakosia Dancia was quiet for a few minutes, she didn’t expect anyone else to have the same reaction it wasn’t even something that she couldn’t quite put into words. It was just something you got used to over time, and never quite all of it really. “Some would call them more a cult. It’s easy to see supers as above normal humanity, we soar above the Earth bringing them justice from above. And Centurion was the best of us, he died to save us all!” she managed a faint smile “I’m not normally quite so hyperbolic or prone to speeches. I guess the anniversary got to me a little. That’s why your here to get their views on them, as balanced as you can.”

Emerald Spider “I’d like to say I've seen everything since I’ve become a hero, but compared to some back East I’m still pretty new to things myself. You’d think with so few heroes we’d run into the same villains, but I’ve never had the pleasure. I’d think I’d remember a villain with such a stinky code name.” there was obviously a hint of amusement in her voice. It seems that she couldn’t help but pun, it was part of her nature now. And she was pretty fine with that, it was her thing. “I’ve had a few missing person cases, but nothing in this area or on such a scale. So it’ll be a learning experience for both of us! But first, we eat!”

White Lioness Àjàṣorò had enjoyed herself, it wasn’t like the epic movies that they made back home but it was a pleasant experience. Maybe she should pick up a copy for the common room when it came out, so the others could enjoy it as well. “It was an enjoyable experience, we should try and do this more regularly. Though if we do it might have to get a proper pass to leave the grounds.” A little truancy was fine, but too much would be bad, there were limits to these kinds of things. “There’s apparently this little boutique that does amazing stuff at low prices, we should go check it out. You might have to entertain yourself for a bit though Pan, I doubt the fashions will be to your tastes!”

GM Post The map shifted to one of the East Coast, then New Jersey, the around where Freedom City was now. The hologram shows an accurate map of what was a much smaller town. The small period appropriate plaque declaring it Freedom Port was a nice touch. As less period appropriate icon shows a stream of data in whatever was their own language, the area covered a wide area of the more seedy side of the Towns port. “The energies involved do not allow us to pinpoint the artefact with any more accuracy, we do not detect any other of there devices on that Earth.” As she spoke the white floor of the room nearby Steam rose and formed into a table like structure, along with an appropriate number of chairs. The whole thing looked like it was from one of those ‘60’s Sci-fi movies. “Please try not to spill organic matter upon the surfaces…” the ship's hologram, Harmony, explained “… the cleaning Nanites get grumpy about breaking down such things!” -

GM Post Dana casually waved an arm and the side of the craft split open to form an entrance, with it forming a ramp down to the assembled teens. She stepped onto the ramp and turned to the others apparently to explain one final detail to them before boarding the craft. “Gotta warn you my world nothing like this one, its not all sunshine and rainbows, as far as I can tell the worlds not got any supers there. But don’t think they can’t look after themselves, it’s a tough dog eat dog word...” she paused and her face twisted into a frown “Bollocks! I’ve started to talk in clichés, all this weirdness must be getting to me!” -
Zhenshchina-voin Whilst she’d been raised in a culture of peace and harmony Klara did enjoy a good scrap now and again. Beaming she brushed herself down and went to find Dreadnought, the kid was a pain but he’d meant well and for Klara that meant a lot. But it was time they began to work together as a real team if they were going to sort all this out. “Okay ground rules, we work as a team and keep everyone safe. But that does mean we’ll need to know what she knows, and that might mean putting her into danger.” she looked at him earnestly, believing what she meant completely. “My role has always been as a guardian of others, I promise you that I will do everything in my power to ensure that neither of you comes to any real harm. But you have to let me do my job, whatever the call. Are we cool?”

Miss Grue Daphne was us to a little reaction to her true nature, but this was a little more extreme than normal. Still he showed good defenses something that they could very much build upon. “The Grue are subsumed into a single consciousness, something that I luckily avoided by being born in deep space.” she paused to let it all sink it “So if you want to consider me family that’d be great, but I’m also fine with you considering me just a mentor. And please be honest I’m a empath so I’ll know if your trying to make me feel better.” He didn’t need to know just yet that she was also a telepath, not that she was going to peek into his brain just yet.

Miss Grue Daphne stepped back and gave a little smile, she always enjoyed this bit a lot. “Not exactly, we’re more adopted family, let me show you how.” Her skin began to take on the native red colouration of her people, a little darker than most, and her features became sharper though still obviously her features. Unlike most Grue she still had her long black hair. It looked a little strange that she was still in her civilian clothes, but she wasn’t being a full hero right now. “I’m Ms Grue, pleased to meet you again!”

Ms Bright Not everyone choose the shelters for various reasons, for Ms Bright it was because she felt others could benefit more from the place. Not feeling the heat or cold she choose to sleep on the roof of the building, after grabbing a quick bite to eat. She tended to go from shelter to shelter keeping an eye out for potential trouble makers. More than one groups thinking they’d beat up a building through of homeless people was a good idea got a serious whooping from Ms Bright. With the recent spate of disappearances she’d been following those as they left the shelter, looking for potential clues as to what had happened to those had gone.

Couldn't hurt to have the heroes originally find and tame the house, solve the mystery etc, etc.

There was a Midnighters group in FC before, I believe Deadhead was a member so maybe the ideas traveled west with him? And with portals and magical dimensions it could be shared between all the cities if you want to. But I'm totes down with the idea.
