Miss Grue It didn’t take a empath to tell his reactions she knew what to expect from years of watching teen drama, and being around actually teens, even if she didn’t quite understand it all herself. With a friendly smile she stood to greet the teen <”Greetings”> it wasn’t often spoken among outsiders but the Grue languages was literally coded into their DNA, it was a good test to see if he inherited that “Hi I’m Daphne, and you could say that we’re distantly related to each other now!” As benefited anyone, but especially her new kinda-sorta step-step-nephew, she gave the teen a big friendly hug.

White Lioness It didn’t take much for White Lioness to see a potential problems she faces, as quick as she was on the grounds she had no way to really fight at a distance. Not normally a problem when there were many ways to gain height on someone, but she doubted that these sky-pirates would helpfully lower her a rope. Still at least there were many options as to how she could get up there. “Anyone fancy giving me a lift up to the ship?” Now all she had to do was wait a few moments, the hardest part really.

White Lioness Àjàṣorò had seen and read about the American arcades, but she’d never thought she’d get a chance to experience one for real. So as soon as the note arrived she knew she was planning to attend the grand opening. She even managed to convince her roommate to come along with the promise with a lift, she’d managed to save enough of her allowance to buy a small but beautiful little car to drive around the City. Entering the place she took a few moments to take in the sheer electronic wonder that was laid out before them. She wanted to go and try everything, but she was considerate enough to consider her roomnie first “Where do you want to start first?”

Miss Grue Whilst she’d never been to Claremont itself she had helped out some of the students a few times but never had she had to visit the Headmistress. If she’d been to the school she might have felt the pressure that some of the students must have felt, but it wasn’t in her nature to worry about such things. Even when, she rarely, had done wrong she hadn’t worried much beyond doing better. “He’s a shapeshifter, obviously, I was asked to meet with him as apparently has partial Grue DNA. They’re hoping I can help him get a handle on his powers, after all he’s partially family. I though that you might want to ask him about that project of yours.” she looked over as seriously as she could “But this is to help him first and foremost please.”

White Lioness Àjàṣorò would have like a moment to talk out what exactly what was happening, but apparently, the combatants didn’t want to give a chance for them to talk right now. So right now the best option was to break up the fight and sort everything out later, and it looked liked it would be a doozy. Deploying her claws she quickly went into action, keeping herself moving to look for an opening. For a while she didn’t do anything but move around, then she struck a rapid quick blow to the face a solid blow that didn’t even need her to use her claws.

ic SOPHie's Choice : Between a Rock and the Deep Blue Sea
Tiffany Korta replied to Tiffany Korta's topic in The Realms Beyond
GM Post The gyroid gestured down the corridor which now seemed to actually lead deeper in the craft. “Please follow me and I will explain further.” The droid them walked down the corridor into a wide oval room, there were no obvious control surfaces or display screen only stark whiteness of the rest of the ship. With your entry a hologram sparked into life, a stylised version of the SOPHie. “This Harmony she is the AI in control of the ship, please show them the information we’ve detected.” The room was filled with a multitude of Earth's spirling around themselves like strands of DNA. Of the almost infinite multitudes of Earths, one of them was selected and became the focus of the display. “Earth 7011962 is similar to your world during the early 1700s, but with Meta-human. We’ve detected a Terminus artefact on this Earth that needs recovery, for this we’d like to request your help.”- 27 replies

Miss Grue Daphne carefully looked down the list, despite her powers she was very careful not to peer into their identities, and for shapeshifters that was even harder to tell the difference. There were one or two names she recognized obviously. “Uncle Psuedo is away in space, and Uncle Meta is a villain mostly. Changeling is nice, we have coffees catch up every now and again. She’s like me but from another Earth, it's kinda neat really!” She paused and looked a little thoughtful. “Not much help I guess, as they’re all off doing their own thing, I guess it's built into our inherent Grueness!”

Emerald Spider Not swinging around was a little weird as Emerald Spider, but it was politer to walk than just swing around and about like a jackass. “I’ve lived here all my life, and it’s always been like that. Occasionally they’d be the odd hero but they never stayed for long. And no one really gave it much thought, at least until they started showing up again. I guess that’s on me!” her face was of cause covered but there was definitely humour in her voice “And I think it’s great that taken up the mantle! This city definitely needs more heroes around.”

The Traveller Whilst she hadn’t been there at the time she’d read the reports of this guy before, though for the life of her his name escaped him. So many enemies even through the time in the Praetorian's, let alone the centuries spent travelling around the universe. “I’m sorry I don’t think we’ve been properly introduced, I’m the The Traveller I know you’ve probably never heard of me. Now how about to let us recover this station and we’ll all have a drink down the pub and have a good laugh catching up?” She didn’t expect it to work but you never knew sometimes the universe surprised you like that!

White Lioness Àjàṣorò looked around Jhett at where the sound was coming from, whilst concerned for the safety of the other was more the hero type that Corinne. She stepped in front of Jhett and took a relaxed but ready stance for if trouble started, it seemed that the more senior student was taking a more active role with her force field. So acting as support she stepped up to be just behind Corinne providing some balance to her more hardcore attitude. “There may be some very good reason for them to be here, and I’m sure we’ll find out very soon either way!”

White Lioness It turned out that the cinema was even better than the movies suggested and whilst they had a private cinema back home the atmosphere was nothing like what she was now experiencing. And the place wasn’t even full, she’d have to try and attend during an actually opening weekend. The only think she wasn’t quite sure about was the popcorn, but she was giving it a good time hoping to develop a taste for the stuff. She would definitely be doing this again in the near future.

Miss Grue Daphne wasn’t phased by Aquaria’s comments, she was pretty cool with the Deep One and whilst humans were nice she also enjoyed the company of other inhabitants of the Earth. It was funny that as a native of the planet she knew less of human pop culture as an alien. “Thank you, I’m sure it will be quite pleasant as it was. And I’m sure those lovely cupcake will have enough sugars for my sweet tooth. Do your people not have their own dishes? My own really don’t have food the same way most humanoids do.” Daphne gave a little wave to the arriving Abigail, pretending to surprised by her entering. “I think she said she’d be here in a minute, please join us we have plenty to go round!”

Liam Conner After several years of being around, and part of, Rosa he was use to going rapidly from one location to another. In fact he’d become an expert of quickly working out the situation. With a quick scan he picked out a perfect, and helpfully, nearby target before launching himself towards the cultist to try and give the man a solid punch. It wasn’t the most tactically of plan, but hopefully it would work in these circumstances.

Doctor Rosa Thorne Rosa looked up at the flophouse with the keen eye of someone use to looking for subtle clues in the environment. Nothing seemed to need her specific talents, but for now she was curious enough to see this to the end. Liam might not be happy watching things through her eyes, but for now he let her have the moment. After a few more moments of looking at the place she turned to her current partner in crime, so to speak. “So any words of wisdom before we looking further into this Father?”

GM Post The view was much like the last time Abigail was up here, but also subtly different. It was night but the sky was lite up with a multitude of star glowing in the sky, the building were also full of colour and life, flickering with many memories of things past. The oak that was on the drive seemed much bigger than it was, as if it was more important to some than it’s physical size suggested. Rosa herself was something even more impressive, there was a shadowy figure around her a man it seemed and the two seemed to ebb and flow between the two figures. It was as hypnotic as it was disturbing.

Doctor Rosa Throne Rosa felt the tingling as magic went off around her, she could almost taste the power going on around her, it wasn’t often she got to experience that much magic around. “Not bad, and I can live with the team choice, but it needs a little something.” With a little tug she was wearing a trench coat, it wasn’t real both could feel the subtle transportation into another realm. “And I think a change of scenery as well.” With another gesture they were on the roof of the dorm building.
