Scarab's Knowledge (Physical Sciences): 1d20+7 22

The Scarab III Problem-solving was Kamala’s jam, especially in a crisis situation, and her mind was already prioritizing the necessary actions. “SAFIYA monitor and record the energy signatures involved, inform me if they begin to approach critical.” with a few eye movements she activated a loudspeaker she’d been added on to the suit, her voice hopefully echoing through the building. <“There is an explosion building with enough power to flatten this building! I suggest you leave it at the soonest opportunity.”> she hoped they’d believe her enough to leave, though she expected someone would come to challenge her Finally, she set herself on the main task, looking for options to contain or disperse the energies being released. And she wasn’t planning to leave the man behind despite what he’d tried to do.

Horror and investigation is built for Doctor Thorne, though I'm going to be a little hinky for a bit post wise if that would cause problems.

I'd like to have Lucy turm back up at HS, but I'm super busy so I couldn't commit to anything to intensive for a couple of week. If you have a better offer I'll obviously wait my turn .

GM Post The falling figure glowed for just a few moments more before fading back to something more normal, Terrifica’s hands glowed for a few seconds more before also becoming normal. The woman looked almost exactly how she would have in the forties, somehow looking only in her twenties. It could be her powers or something her capture had done, but now wasn’t the time to worry about such things. “Oh I know your value my dear!” his voice just dripped causticity “but Centurion collectable are just so much more valuable, especially now.”

GM Post Airlock tended to look the same whatever species you were and the Lor’s ship was much the same as the Kavaca. Sitara with some skill removed a panel and forced the ship to cycle it’s airlock manually, apparently, she didn’t want to rely on the automatic systems just on case. After what seemed an age the inner airlock door of the ship finally opened onto the interior of the ship. The sleek white lines of the exterior seemed to be mirrored inside with the corridors being a similarly sculptured and gleaming. There must have been systems they couldn’t see as unless you knew the ship you’d never be able to navigate the craft well. -
The Scarab III As the sonic wave winded it way at towards him,at the speed of sound obviously, Kamala was already on the move. There was limited had room but she used her anti-grav system to gain some height above the ground. She never liked to fight, but she’d spent many hours learning how to when the situation demanded it. “I’m afraid I plan to keep hold of my life, but I would appreciate it if you surrendered right now!” She wasn’t sure if he’d recovered his hearing right now, but quips were apparently what superheroes did so she had been practising.

Ms Bright Yes pretending to be homeless! It would be tempting to turn on the man and rail about her actual homeless situation, but she had to assume that he was here to help stop whatever was going on inside. At the question of who she was, Agnes gave a strange little smile. “Who I am is a very good question! But for now, you can call me Ms Bright, for obvious reasons.” She gestured to her still glowing hands to illustrate her point, when she was still working out her name she’d been giving that title by Maggie, who seemed both crazy and wise depending on how the wind blowed. “I suppose we should team up here, what do you know about what's going down in here?“
-
Ms Bright There was something annoying about being so visible now when most of the time she was apparently so invisible to most people. But a part of her enjoyed the attention, the lights below bough a vague memory of the cheers of crowds all calling someone's name, was it her name? Coming to her senses she spotted the license plate lying in the road, looking to her as a clue to who she’d been looking forward a potential clue to who she came up her to help. It was simple enough to get she teleported down to the spot and grabbed the plate before teleporting back to the side of the freeway. Though she really wanted to do something sometimes you just had to wait, and she knew that soon another hero would turn up one that had access to resources that she just couldn’t access.

Bee! Solving a crime was similar in mythology to the methods of the scientific method, something Mellisa knew well. And there was a mystery to solve right here she just needed to put the clues together. “Hmmm the Kaguya's Dartfish, apart from being very pretty, isn’t a deepsea fish at all so how did it get into this tank? And they pretty rare even into the wild...” She realised that the teen next to her was also on a similar path “Yes exotic is a good word for them, hello there I’m Melissa, may I ask how the tank is kept under pressure? Smaller creatures are of cause less affected by such thing, it’s a function of surface area among other things.” An idea was forming on how to check the tank, that would involve a teeny tiny hero just like her!

Lucy Harker With her undead fleshes unusual qualities she wasn't concerned with the bullet's flying around, not that it apparently mattered with the toon's gangsters accuracy. Stepping forwards with a smile she gave Beth another solid punch to the face, though it was pretty obvious that their toon flesh, or whatever you’d call it, was just as tough as her own. Or at least able to quickly recover. “We may need to consider another plan here.” she said to her own ally. She still looked confident at her foe as her brain, her main weapon here, considered options.
-
GM Post “Let ‘em have it!” Despite being blind Vera seemed to be unconcerned, both her and Beth spraying the area with there cartoon gunfire. Neither of the heroes were hit but various fixtures and fitting were harmed spraying the area with various foodstuffs. The shop was going to need some serious TLC after this was over. “Did we get ‘em?” Vera asked confidently “Erm, Not quite!” Beth replied looking slightly nervously into Lucy’s coal black eyes. “We might need a new plan.”
-
Beth's toon like regeneration brings her back to normal, and both fire their weapons Vera (blindly) at FB and Beth at Lucy Attack Roll: 2#1d20+6 11 19. So both are very ineffective! Lucy will again punch Beth Attack Roll: 1d20+12 28, Beth's Toughness Save: 1d20+6 23. So back to bruised!

Merge Trois It should work but even though their link had been strengthening it still didn’t reach right across the country. But somehow they link between Nicki and Merge still functioned, something about the link between the shops or some other mumbo jumbo that Merge didn’t really understand or care much about. All that mattered was that they were linked and could feel each other presence. Being early days she was on her best behaviour so between stocking the shelves she was also greeting the new customers she met, just one of her out front and other her in the back doing behind the scenes work. “Hello, sir and welcome to... Oh!” Much too late she realised just who she was talking to, Asad and her had a... complicated history.

Bee's still new so people wouldn't really know her yet. Talking off can she determine what sort of wee little fishie we have left? Knowledge (Life Sciences): 1d20+15 18

Ms Bright Sleeping rough wasn’t that bad, it helped she didn’t feel the cold or hunger of other (though she still eat when she could, best to not to find your limits out here), the worse were the dreams of her past gently floating out of reach full of sound and fury. A dream so straightforward was almost as a relief, except for the subject matter obviously. Waking with a start she was quick to hear the noises of a struggle, and without even thinking about the danger she was up and ready for action. With light crackling around her, she took to the air, travelling at high speed towards where she’d heard the scream.

Ms Bright Agnes was expecting trouble, it was par for the course for deal like this, but in these matters gangsters weren’t know to be subtle. She’d expected shout and gunfire, not an exaggerated whisper out of the darkness. Of cause there would be a cowl out here, she shouldn’t have expected anything else in a city like this. She turned to her best guess to where the voice was coming from and gave and exaggerated whisper in her strong North London accent. “What the bleeding hell are you doing sneaking up on someone like that?”
-
Bee! Melissa's face scrunched up as she thought for a few seconds, she wasn’t exactly the best at deception. “Melissa, Bee asked me to look at a sample and discover how it affects things! She an ally of Bee-Keeper, but she pretty new so you’ve probably never heard of her!” she paused for a few seconds before adding with a touch of pride “I’m a fairly skilled chemist as it happens, but we need to get a sample first. But maybe we should do all sneaky, sneaky like?” she smiled before adding “I’m sure we’ll make an excellent team h-e-double hockey sticks girl!”
-
Bee! Melissa might have come to see the technology, but she was also excited by the entire experience of the aquarium. She might be an entomologist at heart but she loved learning about all animals, she’d spent the whole evening before studying up on all the different aquatic animal at the place and worked out the perfect route through the place. To some, it might look like randomly running from exhibit to exhibit, but there was a strange order to her plan. She’d even worn her favorite clothes an over-sized knitted black and yellow jumper and a bright yellow skirt. For a moment she was a little disappointed at the final exhibit, the deep sea tank, and for a few seconds, her face fell. “Hmmm, something seems to be amiss her maybe someone should look into this.” Realizing that this was an opportunity to do the hero thing she smiled once again as she looked to see if anyone else was around.

The White Lioness “We might be isolated the outside world from our country, but that doesn’t mean we ignore it completely. We have the internet and we receive television and radio signals!” she managed to explain before Nicole's roommate arrived. Àjàṣorò really wanted to step in as a peacekeeper of the entire exchange but held her tongue to allow everyone to say there piece. She was still ready if things went south but the two seemed to have reached a consensus on their own. So instead she decided to play tour guide, knowing some the younger artists she’d been keeping an eye on. “There’s an excellent piece over here by a young artist about Dakana’s place in the world. Perhaps we should start there?”

The Scarab III Kamala was aware that whatever she did he was going to attack, his deafness probably wouldn’t make a difference. Just as she wasn’t affected by his bluster, he would soon attack whether she answered or not. Still, it was a good opportunity to do the superhero thing and do something impressive. So she smiled as sweetly as she could and mouthed to him. “The Scarab!” And whilst she normally wouldn’t attack unless provoked in this situation she decided that this wasn’t a good opportunity for such diplomacy. So she then fired off a burst of sonic energy towards the terrorist.
