  1. 23:00, 5th November 2018 Southside, Freedom City Humanity had a great capacity to recover from almost anything, and that included their capacity to hate. Only a few months after the city had almost been obliterated by an invasion force already the various gangs of the Southside had already started fighting amongst each other. Even worse a few of the devices from the invasion had leaked onto the black market, including once such device that according to good intelligence was going to be sold this very night in a warehouse in more run down part of the area.
  2. White Lioness With her advanced senses, she was aware a fraction before Elisabeth made herself aware of her presence, it was a strange sensation to experience her suddenly being there. Àjàṣorò was more embarrassed that she'd been caught so underdressed compared to everyone else, but tried to act as if it was the most natural thing in the world. "We've been working on the walk for what seems like weeks, the light show was all her own idea." she crossed her arms and skuffed her shoe a little self consciously "The dress looks as good as I imagined! She's got the legs to carry it off well!"
  3. White Lioness Smiling reassuringly at her friend, well she hoped they were friends after everything, she softly spoke trying to explain how she believed things worked. "The real strength of the Dakani people isn't our technology or even the Daka crystals, it the strength of our bonds as a people." She'd knew her fellow student would be sceptical so she decided to tell the tale that her mother used to tell "Long ago there came a terrible monster to the lands of our people each clan sent out a mighty warrior but the monster was too powerful and each was defeated. They a more wily, wiser warrior, tradition says it was the White Lion, pointed out that together they were much stronger. And together they defeated the monster and the nation of Dakana was formed." She shrugged a little feeling a little self-conscious before cutting to the chase. "It won't be easy but this community needs to heal itself, and to do that it needs symbols to inspire. That's what you can do inspire others to help themselves."
  4. Triakosia Dancia looked thoughtful for a few moments considering Casey's word before replying. "The Hunter's and Fletcher's give time and money to help those in need, and for two generations the King's of Dakana have defended this planet. Remember as journalists we deal in verifiable truth, not absolutes!" Dancia smiled reassuringly at her young intern and leaned in for a conspiratorial whisper "Then again there are lot's that don't, and that's where we get to do the fun stuff!"

  6. And if needed Knowledge (Physical Science): 1d20+7 22
  7. Set up a destructive resonance to make it destroy itself. Or in simpler term bad sounds makes it go boom!
  8. The Traveller Pressing the panel the airlock began to cycle and the inner door began to open. "It may look deceptive but that's a military vessel, the Lor like make their ships look pretty! It'll be shielded from most scans, and anything deeper might set off defences. The Kavaca is quite advanced, thanks to my efforts, but I'd rather not risk it this far away from any aid." She stepped into the airlock and through the clear faceplate, Facsimile could see her give a broad smile. "Besides where you sense of adventure!"
  9. The Traveller Communications weren't her strongest field, a point being she hadn't expected there trick to almost flood subspace and drown out a signal, but she managed to improvise something that appeared to be working. But she couldn't tell how long they'd managed before the signal was cut off for good. Still, she used every trick she'd learned over her many centuries of engineering to keep the channel open. "Long story short we're in the middle of an Khanite invasion, the locals would like to stay out of the Khanite and we need as much help as you can muster as quickly as possible!" Sitara looked around at everyone else, feeling a little sheepish at how simple she managed to break everything down. "Did I miss anything important?"
  10. The Scarab III "AREEBA process those letters for signs of artificial generation. Feed results to this room main display. Would you like a copy to your cell phones as well?" As she instructed her AI, AREEBA used the same systems as SAFIYA just a different personality interface as it wasn't exactly prudent to suggest that she used the same system as The Scarab. The hologram of the woman Moria had seen in the lobby seemed to scan the documents and the analysis appeared on a large screen built into the walls.
  11. The Scarab III She hated how some had taken the peaceful words of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and twisted them into a more violent destructive way of men like Yasser. Her family had moved to America to get away from the persecution of men like him, and as much as loved Egypt she didn't regret the decision they'd made. The crystal couldn't fall into the hands of such people and she'd rather destroy it than allow it to be used to cause greater harm. With no other choice right now she set up her makeshift device to produce a destructive resonance in the crystal. She wouldn't have long before he realised that something was happening, and she'd have to remain to make sure the resonance worked correctly.
  12. Lucy Harkness She might have been driving before even this car was made, but she was a fairly competent and conscientious driver. She liked to remind herself that whilst she was more or less indestructible everyone one else on the road wasn't. "Try the radio, I'm sure it's one of those fancy modern ones, Erica couldn't travel anywhere without a something like that." Indeed the radio did look suspiciously modern, though someone had taken some effort to make it fit the cars stylings. "At some point, you'll have to indulge me with some of my taste for Jazz, but it long trip so pick what you want. I have pretty broad tastes!"

  22. White Lioness Àjàṣorò was glad she had turned up in time to see her roommate make a spectacular entrance, the girl really knew how to work it like she was born to it. It had taken some work, and Àjàṣorò had learned some new words that hadn't turned up in her research. She also wore the sparkly dress much better than Àjàṣorò could have, she was glad she'd insisted on getting it for her. Her frame showed it off much better than she ever could. Still standing there she wondered what she could do now, she wasn't tired and she really didn't fancy hanging out in a mostly empty dorm.
  23. The Scarab III Kamala sighed, obviously it wasn't going to be as easy as she hoped. She was still new enough that he might be a threat to her, she briefly wondered how her former namesake would have handled things. Probably much better she guessed, but then again she'd been doing it much longer than herself. After a few moments, she followed her target a short distance behind, as long as none of his allies turned up his loss of hearing would hide her presence for a while longer. She still tried to be as quiet as she could, even if stealth wasn't really her thing.
  24. GM Post The fireworks went off filling the little store in bright lights in the eerie fog that filled the places thanks to Pan's machinations. All except Vera who's eyes began to spiral as she looked at the lights. "Ooooh pretty lights!" as she spoke she swayed slightly as if hypnotised by the effect. "They've put a whammy on you Vera, snap out of it I need help with this pasty looking one here!" Beth gestured towards Lucy if it wasn't obvious to everyone in the room. Vera, for now, was however completely fixed on the light, even if they were now in her head, paying no attention to anything else going one.
  25. GM Post The clanking came from a bulky set of power armour, obviously built in the 40's and what had been stolen earlier from the underground laboratory. Clunking to a halt it struck a pose the pilot behaving to a certain set of opinions of his or her place in this event. "Well look here a Centurion tie-in figure, and still in pristine condition. Surrender and I'll make things painless for you!" Meanwhile, the Cyro-capsule was remarkably easy to operate, and quite robust in construction probably it would outlast the less solid modern devices. The controls began to show that its occupant began to defrost, and things were so far going well.
