The Traveller Sitara concentrated as she swung the Kavaca carefully around the ship using the lights to look at the state of the pure white hull. "No outwards signs of damage or scorching from weapons fire, scans show the ship hasn't been here more than a day or so. Not enough time for the repair nanite to do there work." It wasn't difficult to tell that Sitara was nervous about the whole things, lots of unknowns that could cause them all kinds of trouble. After a few more minutes she came to a decision and added. "Akazavani get the ship to deploy a docking port but don't interface with the systems over there, I don't want you coming down with something!" -

GM Post "I would be a terrible host and ship if I didn't keep you entertained." it was difficult to tell if Akazavani was joking or not "We are at the coordinates now." The Kavaca dropped out of superluminal speed a short distance, in a stellar sense, from the Lor ship. It was a thing of beauty all elegant curves in a bright white as if the ship was carved from white marble. Though in the darkness of space it only shone where the Kavaca's lights fell upon it. "No response from our arrival, I am only getting feedback from the comms. Lifestyle reading are faint but indeterminable." -
The Scarab III As a businesswoman she'd seen this kind of cooperation before and it was as frustrating here as it was there, at least most heroes managed to normally work together. Generally, when everyone wanted something but not to put in the effort there was an easy way to set yourself up as in charge. "Someone has to go and retrieve the crystal from the man, who has been empowered by the crystal in inhuman ways. If any of you feel capable of doing that then feel free, otherwise I'll be the one to call the shots from this point on." she looked at Agent Fields, the only capable one here, and smiled before adding "If that okay with you Agent?"

White Lioness "Freedom might have been the worse attacked but it wasn't the only city that the Terminus invaded. Dakana had to drive off a wave of Omega Drones after the treasures of the Sacred Mountain." even though she thought it stupid and old fashion she wouldn't reveal the secret of the beast they guarded "As the White Lioness I personally stopped them from establishing a permanent portal powered by the Singing Hills, a tale that I will not tell for anyone." she sighed "I'm not trying to score points on who suffered the most, many suffered and will alas continue to stuffer for a while longer. But humans are resilient and will strive to make things better, and I believe that you will be one of those people!"

Lucy Harker Lucy looked down at the slug flattened against jacket, the hole it's caused already knitting back together. She looked down more in surprise than shock, her undead flesh wouldn't even bruise and would quickly recover from almost any injury. "I guess then it's my turn then!" Not having any weapons of her own she instead had to rely on those given to her, moving with some grace other to the two toons and striking on with an impressive punch. The response isn't quite what you'd expect Beth when down only to spring right back up to her feet apparently not harmed at all by the assault!

GM Post Against Forever boys effect the eyes of one of them, Vera they'd called her, seemed affected as her eyes began to swirl in a hypnotic pattern. Then she turned to the other, Beth, and fired her Thompson dancing around with the weapon but still somehow managing to hit. "Whatcha do that for?" the other toon seemed hurt, but not it appeared physically. "One of the 'hero's did the mind-whammy on me!" "You idiot we're immune to stuff like that!" to that end Vera slapped Beth apparently bringing her to her senses "Here let me show you how's it done." She turned and fired both barrels of the shotgun which with unerring accuracy, or maybe even luck, struck Lucy.

Lucy Harker Once in the safety of the car Lucy did the opposite putting the sunglasses on top of her head, revealing the coal black pit's that were her eyes. They gave her perfect vision in the dark but she didn't want to risk accidentally hurting someone else, she'd never driven this far and wasn't sure on any downside on her eyes. "I thought we'd head generally westward, sticking to the back roads for now. I don't think I'm quite ready for the Freeway yet. I've got a few places picked out depending on the route." She gestured towards the cell phone gently balanced on the dashboards, Lucy might be old but she was smart enough to use modern technology when it suited her "Don't worry I watch all the details as they went in, I'd hate to think where Erica would have sent us otherwise!"

Merge Trois Merge like many in her field found it difficult to share, oversharing lead to all sorts of unfortunate trouble. But that was then and now things were different, the few gulps of champaign helped as well. "My brother got himself in trouble and I needed the money, really serious as in completely catatonic. So I made a deal with a dubious source so I could raise as much money as quickly as possible." It had taken a lot of introspection and soul search, from Nikki at least Merge wasn't about things like that, to get to that point and it felt pretty good. Or maybe that was the champagne...

Liam Conner With a smile Liam Brandished his business card, a stylistic black rose with the name of there detective agency and a cell number below. It had cost them quite a bit but it had been more or less worth it. "That was me you were meant to meet, and trust me I don't scare off that easily! Even with this honestly really bad coffee." he smiled as he brandished the mug for emphasis "We're here to help if you still need the assistance, which from those thugs back at the church I think you do?"

The Scarab III In the last twenty-four hours, Kamala had gained more experience in the energy signatures of Daka crystal than she'd ever expected to ever see, which came in useful in exactly these circumstances. "That some kind of a biological entity, I'd say it's mammalian in nature potentially human." she thought a little before adding. "It's worrying that the power signatures are intertwined with those of the crystals, there a potential that he's managed to go further than just the use of the crystal as a weapon system!"

Okay added that she draws on the area ambient magical energies, aka ley line, also added a complication that she can sometimes drain all the magic in an area. -

The Traveller Sitara took the pilot seat and began to prepare the Kavaca to drop back to normal space. "We've received a distress call from a Lor naval ship, I don't know how it works on Terra but we're obliged to offer assistance." to be fair she would always stop to offer help, but it made explaining easier, plus it was always an adventure even if occasionally it was a trap "Well I do at least, you're welcome to stay on board, though it could be interesting for you to meet your interstellar cousins!" -
Triakosia They, whoever they might be, often said you could tell a local Freedomite by how they reacted when a hero flew, swung, jump or however they travelled. It wasn't true for everyone though and many on the bus, not as romantic as the cities monorail but clean and efficient as they could be, who glanced out of the windows as a hero flew overhead. Dancia reaction was a little more subdued, but she was obviously still paying attention. "Hmmm, I didn't know they were back in town! Have to catch up with them soon." she whispered to Casey "I like to do this and see how people really feel about this city, easy to lose track when you're up in the sky!"
-
White Lioness "Yes, sure you are little brother!” Her tone suggested she far from agreed, and also far from serious about it they'd always been somewhat competitive but never that seriously. "It is strange for us as well to have these secret identities, but apparently necessary so we can live in this country without attracting attention. But here please call me Àjàṣorò!" Having said her piece she then looked to the senior student here ready to find out what was planned for them today.

Zhenschina-voin "That is as much a question for philosophers as it is magical and science. But with so many centuries under your belt I feel if anyone can answer such a question would be yourself." She raised a glass in salute to the very old man before carrying on. "His singular focus makes him more an annoyance than a threat, and if he applied himself there are many places he could find what he seeks. I'm more worried about the Doctor of crime, his schemes could challenge this noble institution."

White Lioness With the crystal recovered that should be it, she should disappear into the shadows and return to her homeland triumphantly. Well once her father had chastised her for sneaking out to do such a dangerous thing. She knew the rumours of the Avians that lived near her country and that they were mostly harmless, or at least choose to keep to themselves, not like the one they'd trapped in the water. "I think we should recover the idol for his people!" she turned and looked at her ally "Or I plan to try and I'd wouldn't mind the company!"

GM Post Overextended by the last attack the telekinetically thrown debris finally tipped the massive humanoid bird over the edge to plunge into the water. Being so large he sent up a huge splash and plume of water as he ended up in the Wading River. Peering over the edge they could see that the birdman came up to the surface, looking all dejected with its waterlogged feathers. He was treading water but not trying to swim or getting out of the water. "They took the idol! They stole it they did!" the creature squawked angrily in accented broken English.

Merge Trois The bar was busy but not packed, not as full as you would have expected on a night like this. And whilst the VIP was designed to allow some privacy it was apparent that not many people were attending. Her job complete there Merge collapsed into one of the chairs, apparently deflated about something, she popped the cork on a bottle of champagne and took a large swig straight from the bottle. "Apparently no one trusts me enough to come tonight, everyone thinks that this is a massive scam or a set up for a robbery. Like I was that kind of mastermind supervillain!" she took another gulp from the bottle and added "That was never how I did things, I only took from those that deserved it and they were well-crafted things of beauty!" Remember something she offered up them up the bottle "Did either of you want some?"

White Lioness Àjàṣorò, or Sara as she was outside of Claremont, was meant to be a native of the East Coast so she'd made sure to spend some time in Freedom City before coming to the place officially. It had been a shock to see how different the people here lived compared to Dakana, where it was far from perfect but everyone had at least a decent standard of living. It didn't put her off though she was determined to understand more about why thing were the way they were and maybe one day her people could try and help out with the knowledge they had gained. "My people sent aid to the city and I travelled with them to help where I could." as well as handing out aid she also helped out as White Lioness, it amused her that some of the superhero board were talking about her as an urban legend. She was dressed quite plained compared to normal bright colours, a simple long blue dress with a pair of practical sneakers. She could if needed to deploy her costume in a few moments, though she was more than capable of fighting like this. "It would be quite a shock to anyone what happened here." she remembered the struggles she had herself on that day "But people are resilient and this place will recover. It is up to us to ensure that things get better for them!"

The Scarab III It would have been amusing to watch the three bicker if this wasn't something so important and potentially dangerous. Maybe the three monkey comparison wasn't that far off of the mark... "I think I might know the reasons for you strange energy reading. Someone had figured out how to turn the crystal into weapons, I've destroyed all the others but I believe he had sample inside of the building." She might have a way to block the resonance, but she wasn't overconfident enough not to think that he couldn't alter them in some ways. "Better show me the intel you've gathered and then I'll work out how to stop this man. Once that's all done we can work out what to do with the Daka crystal." She wasn't planning on handing over to any of them until she was certain of anything, and even then not until she'd run some tests herself.

Liam Conner This is good, as we have no money either! Liam chose to ignore the voice in his head and instead tried to put the woman at ease. "That's fine we just want to make sure that everything okay." he gave his most reassuring smile "Let's get going I for one am starving!" He gently as possible steered the assembled group across the street and to the Diner, whilst Liam didn't know what this vampire could do Rosa was obviously worried at what punishment he could be capable of. He just hoped her hunch about him being a good guy was on the level, or they'd have another problem to deal with once this was all over. Rosa was many things but her academic curiosity sometimes overcame her common sense, so it was good thing really that he was here.

Ms Bright Power Level: 7 (105/131PP) Unspent Power Points: 26 Trade-Offs: None In Brief: Once upon a time, I dreamt that I was a butterfly... Alternate Identity: Agnes (Public), maybe Agnus Stone (Private) Birthplace: Conceptual Space Residence: Streets Base of Operations: Southside, Freedom City Occupation: Homeless Affiliations: None Family: None Description: Age: It's complicated (13th July 2018) Apparent Age: 18 Gender: Female Ethnicity: Mixed (Caucasian / Afro-Caribbean) Height: 1.6m (5'3") Weight: 60kg (130lbs) Eyes: Brown Hair: Brown Though even Agnes doesn't know it she actually is a complete duplicate of Agnus, even down to her DNA, or she is actually an amnesiac Agnus it's impossible for anyone right now to know for certain, including Agnes herself. The only noticeable thing is that she appears younger, around eighteen which happens to be the age that she first became Young Britannia. Living rough has been hard on Agnes but she's managed to keep herself in good condition, her powers helping, Being fairly average, and for now, keeping a low profile, she mostly known by others in the area from her strange accent when speaking, though few would recognize it as a North London accent Agnes costume is pretty simple and barely counts as a costume, just a pair of bovver boots and a blue padded jacket with the Union Jack on the back. Otherwise, she wears sensible normal clothes of a Red Hoodie over a white t-shirt, which right now are all the clothes she owns. History: With the desperate times of the Terminus Invasion of 2018, a few of the most powerful magical heroes gathered to make a deal to potentially save Earth-Prime. One of those was Agnus Stone the then-current holder of the legacy of the Spirit of Justice. She had gathered as many of the national and conceptual spirits and held them within herself whilst taking part it the supernatural conference. To hold that much power must always have a cost and on the stroke of midnight the deal ended, and something happened... (For the complete history of Agnus look here.) What exactly happened no one knows, especially Agnes who woke up in an alley in Southside with no knowledge of who she was apart from her name. Quickly she discovered that she had powers when she had to defend herself from muggers in the same alley she'd woken up in. Other the next few days she tried to piece together who she was and how she got here, pretty unsuccessfully as she only has the vaguest flashes of who she was before, in fact, all she does remember for certain is that her name is Agnes the rest is a blur. With no one or where to go, for now, Agnes has chosen to remain where she is, as she found a calling for herself. Very quickly she began to protect not just herself, but first, those that slept rough in this part of Freedom City, and then those that lived local and were being harassed by the various lowlifes that preyed on the people of the Southside. This has been a gradual thing, and only now has she become active enough to come to the notice of other heroes in the area. Even though she could so far she has chosen not to go too far beyond the Southside, and most definitely not into the heart of Downtown Freedom. She has this vaguest memory that she suffered a great heart wrenching lost in that part of the City and has no desire to open that old wounds. Personality & Motivation: Right now everything that Agnes does is driven by her lack of identity, she doesn't know who she is or what her place in the world. Though she quite put her fingers on what worries her she has the most literal Imposter Syndrom, she in some way know that she isn't who she use to be even if she doesn't know who she was. For now, the simple act of surviving plus her helping people is enough to soothe her worries and woes. At her core though is a desire to do good and help people in trouble, something that she won't sacrifice just to find out the truth. Powers & Tactics: Agnes is not a subtle fighter, her first instinct (and second etc) is to hit people when trouble starts. She's not stupid though and if something looks too big for her to just punch she'll look for other tactics, and then she can be quite devious allowing people to underestimate her until the time comes for her to strike. And even though she's still new at all this is can and will work alongside others heroes. Power Descriptions: Within Agnes is a tiny piece of the Spirit of Britannia, though it appears that she is no longer (or has never been) connected with them. With only this tiny amount of magical power she's able to do some pretty amazing feats as a kind of a pocket powerhouse. When she uses her powers it shows as a golden light that shines around her, it ranges for nothing more than a healthy glow of her toughened skin to the angry crackling energy of her punches or teleportation. She draws on the ambient magical energies of the area, commonly described as ley lines, as she limits to just a district this can sometime drain the ambient magic for a little while. Complications: Homeless: Agnes has no home of her own and no money to speak off, living by her wits alone on the tough streets. Such Painful Memories: At times of crisis Agnes is occasionally struck by brief painful memories of what she assumes is her previous life. So powers are the emotions however they can distract her in the middle of potentially dangerous situations. Tapped Out: Massive uses of magic in an area can drain it enough that she can't use her powers, especially the more power hungry abilities like teleport. Abilities: 0 + 2 + 0 + 0 + 4 + 6 = 12PP Strength: 10/24 (+0/+7) Dexterity: 12 (+1) Constitution: 10/24 (+0/+7) Intelligence: 10 (+0) Wisdom: 14 (+2) Charisma: 16 (+3) Combat: 10 + 8 = 18PP Initiative: +5 Attack: +7 Unarmed +5 Base Defense: +7 (+4 Base, +3 Dodge Focus), +2 Flat-Footed Grapple: +5/+12 Knockback: -3 Saving Throws: 3 + 6 + 5 = 14PP Toughness: +0/+7 (+0 Con, +0/+7) Fortitude: +3/+10 (+0/7 Con, +3) Reflex: +7 (+1 Dex, +6) Will: +7 (+2 Wis, +5) Skills: 16R = 4PP Bluff 2 (+5) Diplomacy 2 (+5) Intimidate 2 (+5) Knowledge (Streetwise) 5 (+5) Notice 3 (+5) Sense Motive 2 (+4) Feats: 8PP Attack Specialization (Unarmed Attack) 1 Dodge Focus 3 Fearless Improved Initiative 1 Luck 2 Powers: 14 + 14 + 1 + 9 + 11 = 49PP Enhanced Constitution 14 [14PP] Enhanced Strength 14 [14PP] Flight 1 (10mph, 88 ft/rns) [2PP] Immunity 9 (Life Support) [9PP] Teleport 5 (500ft, 5 miles Feat: Alternative Power 1) [11PP] AP: Enhanced Flight 5 (to Flight 6, 500mph, 4400 ft/rns) [10PP] All of her powers are Magical in nature and draw on the area's ley lines. Zhenschina-voin Whilst the other had been travelling around Klara had been busy, she'd taken Morgan back to the Vanguard to get VERA to set her up as an official citizen of the United Kingdom. She had after all been living here for far longer than most people. Luckily that annoying woman wasn't around as she tried to give Morgan a quick crash course on how the UK worked, she had after all encountered it all as a foreigner herself. Once that was done they'd teleported Paris, she'd decided to arrive a distance from the safehouse and walk, she'd always loved to wander the city when she had a chance. After a brisk walk, she settled in with a drink to wait for their erstwhile host to arrive.
