  1. White Lioness Even though she was a little late Àjàṣorò walked into the Doom Room as if it just when she wanted to arrive. As she walked in her costume, made of advanced hi-tech Dakanan materials, deployed around her clothes though she left her face exposed her hair already carefully teased into a pair of puff at the back. "In my experience, those who boast the most have the least to contribute." when in costume as normal she spoke in her natural accent "And looking at everyone here I don't so anyone like that at all!"
  2. The Traveller It was rare that something panned out in ways that surprised Sitara, the advantage of having lived all those centuries, so even the bad ones were a pleasant surprise. God's real or technological were among the rarest of all so they were always interesting. Though always better after the event with a few beers and good company. As she jetted her way towards the others Sitara tried to piece together what they'd found out so far, and it was definitely a mess godlings tended to have quite an ego on them and the power to back it up. When she was little you tended to ignore them as much as possible, which alas probably wasn't possible in this situation.
  3. Deep Space, Lor Border Zone 14th Jyeshtha 2075 "I did not know that Terrans still had a nudity taboo!" A bemused Sitara walked back into the cabin of the Kavaca zipping up her freshly donned jumpsuit, the ships proximity alarm providing a well-timed distraction. The voice of Akazavani spoke as soon as Sitara entered the cabin, she could speak where she wanted in the ship and even had a holographic image for just such occasions. But she was being well behaved today, obviously, she understood Terran behaviour better than Sitara did. "We're picking up a distress call from a Lor Navy ship, the Glorious Exploration of the Unknown."
  4. The Scarab III By now she should have realised exactly how they would react at the existence of the Daka crystal, sometimes she thought that the main power of the crystals was to bring out the worse in some people. She gave the agent a sad little look that showed she understood exactly how much she should trust the man. "I tell you what you want the crystal you're welcome to go in there and get it yourself. Or maybe we should go and contract the Dakana embassy, I'm sure they'll be more than happy to assist." she gave a little grin, knowing that either option wasn't going to fly with them. "So how about you leave it to the experts to do their job!"
  5. GM Post Out in the middle of the catwalk, surrounded by people looking up with some admiration, Casey didn't need any of her enhanced senses to see what she wanted. Sat at the end of the walk, the good spot if you will, was a face that looked very familiar to her. It was Daphne, but not like Casey had ever seen her before! She was glammed up even more than those involved in the show, dressed in the latest haute couture. Duplicates and double was something you just got used to as a superhero, but there were some things that you never got used too. Instead of the open and always cheerful face of her Daphne, this one had a sneer on her face as she gave a judging look at everyone.
  6. Miss Grue Watching Casey strut her stuff Daphne couldn't help but be feel pride at what her friend had achieved, she knew just how much this achievement meant to the young hero. She didn't tend to peek into human minds (much) but she could help but pick up there surface thoughts. most humans just couldn't help but broadcast their thoughts to the world! Concentrating on her own thoughts made her suddenly realise something, she was getting something but even as a skilled telepath she'd missed it for a very good reason. It was thought patterns that were very familiar to her...
  7. Liam Conner Rosa used the apparent changing room in a more literal sense, slipping in an instance into Liam, normally only a few would notice the change between the two but with everything going on they didn't want to risk freaking the woman out any more. Liam could feel Rosa's reluctant, there was a mystery here to solve and she wanted to do more but they both knew that he was much better at this people thing. "There's a diner across the road we can go get something to eat if you want?" his voice was soft and soothing, trying hard to smooth whatever had spooked her. "We should probably go by a different door though!" he mused to himself, best not to do anything to make things works.
  8. Build an unjammable subspace communicator just to the Praetorians. I have Inventor, skills and time and maybe even a HP
  9. Lucy's Initiative: 1d20+6 15 and Beth and Vera Initiative: 2#1d20+1 4 10. And there Will saves, Will Save: 2#1d20+8 15 21, so Beth is Confussed but Vera is fine.
  10. The Scarab III The good thing about her goggles was that no one could see the raised eyebrow. "Pleased to meet you, Mr Farah, Ms Field and Mr Speak no Evil! I'm The Scarab." she paused to allow the name, and her little joke sink in "My associate and I have been tracking down a stolen piece of Daka crystal, which has bought us here. I have something that might help you stop this man and recover the crystal." now for the important discussion "The crystal is corrupted somehow and needs to be taken where it can be studied safely. I've seen enough of how it harms people to give in on this point!"
  11. Triakosia Dancia couldn't help but smile at the enthusiasm of her intern, quite a pleasant change from the often cynical journalist that she dealt with. And the story would wait an hour or two if need be, sometimes it was good for people who moved so fast to slow down occasionally. "Okay, then the office it is! Whilst we could drive or get a taxi I always enjoy travelling with others now and again." she checked her watch to confirm what she suspected "If we want to catch the next bus we better get a move on, you can take the mug if you want I've got plenty of them." Grabbing her coat and handbag she was ready to leave, taking her time so Casey could get herself ready to go.
  12. Doctor Rosa Thorne She'd encountered a few supernatural over her time in Bedlam so to be in a church with one, maybe two but the undead played fritz with her sense. As long as they weren't causing anyone any harm she was cool with them, after all how better to study their ways than working alongside them? "If it makes you feel better I think I'm covered by Deuteronomy 18:9-12, only Simon Magus gets to be both apparently." If there was one thing that fascinated her as much as the study of the occult it was a mystery to be solved and one had dropped into their lap. Though getting paid was also quite nice, but you couldn't have everything. "Let's go see what this woman has to say then!"
  13. GM Post As if in answer to the question there was the sounds of clanking as masses of steam as from one end of the row appeared and massive suit of power armour, looking to all the world like it had been build in the 40's. Which it probably had been as it was most likely been what had been stolen from the cache Terrifca had investigated only a few hours before. "Obviously someone couldn't wait to play with their toys?" Triakosia joked at his arrival "I'll keep him busy whilst you get her out. I don't want to dwell too long in case he has some other surprises up his sleeve."
  14. Dr Rosa Thorne With almost no effort at all Liam had helped by bringing in the larger of the unconscious thugs, all the while looking strangely at Mister Strix as if trying to work out just who or what he was. "My partner has a question..." Before he could finish the question, and without any real ceremony he was gone and in his place was an African-American woman. "... It's okay I'll handle this myself! I'm Doctor Rosa Thorne, parapsychologist, and my pugilist partner is Liam Conner. So no respiration or blink reflex and ashen pale skin. The question is what kind of undead you are and what intentions you have towards our thuggish friends?"

  16. Liam Conner With supreme concentration, Liam ignored the excited voice o Rosa at this apparently supernatural creature and instead strolled forward confidently towards the apparent thug in charge. He wasn't particularly worried about the bullet whizzing past him, being virtually bulletproof though he'd rather not have to replace the shirt. Once he'd reached the man rather than an elaborate fighting move he simply pulled his fist back and punched him square in the face, not even giving him the satisfaction of a witty quip.
  17. Liam shall do a simple punch to the face on said Captain! Attack Roll: 1d20+8 25, DC 23 Toughness save.
  18. White Lion Àjàṣorò smiled at Nicole, she was glad that she was able to relate to everyone else, it had been a worry that the media she'd watched and read was nothing like the real world. "I cannot claim to have anything like a normal childhood, but I often went exploring beyond the palace and yes some might have been humouring me but I hope I got to know people well." she'd always figured it was good to get to know as many people as she could from all walks of life "I'd very much like to visit Southside with you when you have the time obviously. And it may be a little forward of me but I'd like to do that as a friend being shown around a home? And if you wish I will happily return the favour."
  19. The Scarab III Kamala briefly considered going in alone and showing those watching exactly what she could do, that whats supers tended to do after all. But the sensible part of her told her that she needed more information before she went off half cocked and made more of a mess of the things. <"Let's go meet some new friends shall we?"> Approaching in a way to avoiding being noticed by those inside the mansion she set the pair down a short distance down from the arguing pair. She made sure that they were well aware of her arrival, she didn't want more trouble on top of what she'd discovered so far, and waited for their reaction.
  20. Ms Bright Power Level: 7 (105/105PP) Unspent Power Points: 0 Trade-Offs: None In Brief: Once upon a time, I dreamt that I was a butterfly... Alternate Identity: Agnes (Public), maybe Agnus Stone (Private) Birthplace: Conceptual Space Residence: Streets Base of Operations: Southside, Freedom City Occupation: Homeless Affiliations: None Family: None Description: Age: It's complicated (13th July 2018) Apparent Age: 18 Gender: Female Ethnicity: Mixed (Caucasian / Afro-Caribbean) Height: 1.6m (5'3") Weight: 60kg (130lbs) Eyes: Brown Hair: Brown Though even Agnes doesn't know it she actually is a complete duplicate of Agnus, even down to her DNA, or she is actually an amnesiac Agnus it's impossible for anyone right now to know for certain, including Agnes herself. The only noticeable thing is that she appears younger, around eighteen which happens to be the age that she first became Young Britannia. Living rough has been hard on Agnes but she's managed to keep herself in good condition, her powers helping, Being fairly average, and for now keeping a low profile, she mostly know by other in the area from her strange accent when speaking, though few would recognize it as a North London accent Agnes costume is pretty simple and barely counts as a costume, just a pair of bovver boots and a blue padded jacket with the Union Jack on the back. Otherwise, she wears sensible normal clothes of a Red Hoodie over a white t-shirt, which right now are all the clothes she owns. History: With the desperate times of the Terminus Invasion of 2018, a few of the most powerful magical heroes gathered to make a deal to potentially save Earth-Prime. One of those was Agnus Stone the then-current holder of the legacy of the Spirit of Justice. She had gathered as many of the national and conceptual spirits and held them within herself whilst taking part it the supernatural conference. To hold that much power must always have a cost and on the stoke of midnight the deal ended, and something happened... (For the complete history of Agnus look here.) What exactly happened no one knows, especially Agnes who woke up in an alley in Southside with no knowledge of who she was apart from her name. Quickly she discovered that she had powers when she had to defend herself from muggers in the same alley she'd woken up in. Other the next few days she tried to piece together who she was and how she got here, pretty unsuccessfully as she only has the vaguest flashes of who she was before, in fact, all she does remember for certain is that her name is Agnes the rest is a blur. With no one or where to go, for now, Agnes has chosen to remain where she is, as she found a calling for herself. Very quickly she began to protect not just herself, but first, those that slept rough in this part of Freedom City, and then those that lived local and were being harassed by the various lowlifes that preyed on the people of the Southside. This has been a gradual thing, and only now has she become active enough to come to the notice of other heroes in the area. Even though she could so far she has chosen not to go too far beyond the Southside, and most definitely not into the heart of Downtown Freedom. She has this vaguest memory that she suffered a great heart wrenching lost in that part of the City and has no desire to open that old wounds. Personality & Motivation: Right now everything that Agnes does is driven by her lack of identity, she doesn't know who she is or what her place in the world. Though she quite put her fingers on what worries her she has the most literal Imposter Syndrom, she in some way know that she isn't who she use to be even if she doesn't know who she was. For now, the simple act of surviving plus her helping people is enough to soothe her worries and woes. At her core though is a desire to do good and help people in trouble, something that she won't sacrifice just to find out the truth. Powers & Tactics: Agnes is not a subtle fighter, her first instinct (and second etc) is to hit people when trouble starts. She's not stupid though and if something looks too big for her to just punch she'll look for other tactics, and then she can be quite devious allowing people to underestimate her until the time comes for her to strike. And even though she's still new at all this is can and will work alongside others heroes. Power Descriptions: Within Agnes is a tiny piece of the Spirit of Britannia, though it appears that she is no longer (or has never been) connected with them. With only this tiny amount of her magical power she's able to do some pretty amazing feats as a kind of a pocket powerhouse. When she uses her powers it shows as a golden light that shines around her, it ranges for nothing more than a healthy glow of her toughened skin to the angry crackling energy of her punched or her teleportation. Complications: Homeless: Agnes has no home of her own and no money to speak off, living by her wits alone on the tough streets. Such Painful Memories: At times of crisis Agnes is occasionally struck by brief painful memories of what she assumes is her previous life. So powers are the emotions however they can distract her in the middle of potentially dangerous situations. 21. Must be, Liam's Initiative: 1d20+5 12.
  22. If you want I already have a rough idea for a sequel planned out...
  23. GM Post "Here we go then!" In an instant, the ship seemed to leap from orbit travelling at speeds beyond imagining. Around the ship was a kaleidoscope of colour that swirled around the ship as its engines defied the laws of relativity. It was beautiful and also a little disconcerting after a while like the eyes were trying to make out shapes that should exist in three-dimensional. Still, it was something amazing just to be able to watch and one step on what could be a very long journey back to Earth... Space Adventures shall continue!
  24. The Scarab III With the need for the disguise past she pulled it all off revealing the Scarab costume underneath, pulling down her goggles not that anyone here would identify her. Activating her anti-grav system she began to float a meter or so above the ground. <"Should I give you head start then Doctor? "> she wasn't planning to dwell too long on this, he was dangerous as is without more time to prepare. Kamala briefly considered getting more help from other heroes, but she didn't want to escalate this problem to a pitched battle. <"Choose quickly Doctor, I've literally got to fly!">
  25. In case needed here's Liam's Intimidate: 1d20+15 16, obviously he's just warming up!
