Madame Raven Briefly, Calie considered making light of things, joking about how she was going to help sort out his new team or start a record label (SAD Records was not an encouraging sign). But this was Charlie, he was family, so deserved to have the truth. "Well as it happens after I went looking for myself, I actually found what I was looking for! Well, at least enough answers to help narrow down the questions I still need to ask." she considered for a bit before adding "Alek's got his thing, as do the League so I'm going to get the Atom's help, Quid pro quo obviously." "Though I'll always be a Raven, so you can count on my help either for the family or that new team of yours! And there's still SAD to run now it's cleaned up and on the level..."

Mz Grue With a sigh, Daphne decided that the only way to find out what was going on was to play along, but she was still going to do things her own way. She shifted her form, not to her normal Grue form but a copy of a Spigori. With one of her new extra arms, she signed the contract which brought her to the Game Station. It was easy to find the other heroes, humans had a unique mental "taste" (as did most species really), so she made her way over to introduce herself. "Hi there I'm Mz Grue! You probably haven't heard of me because I like really new, and oh and gone local right now..." her form shimmered as it briefly showed her proper Grue form "Considering everything I don't think we're here to play slots and cards all night, not sufficiently entertaining enough!" She didn't add that all she knew about playing cards was you made quips and said things like fold and all in, probably all those numbers and symbols meant something but she'd not found out quite how it all fitted together.

Madame Raven Callie hadn't expected to go to origins stories this early on, but she had expected it to come up. She'd gone through a couple of different ways to explain what had happened to her, she didn't quite understand everything herself. She was a people person more than a scientist. "On my sixteenth birthday, I was brought forward from the 20th to 21st Century. On that day something should have happened that would have made me take up the mantle of the Raven!" she paused knowing that the name Raven had almost as much cache of the Centurion and his ilk "Think is the other me, who lived through everything, is still around, hence the whole secret identity thing!" she grinned a little uncomfortable, this sharing part was still new to her "And as far people can tell though I'm not from the past or from another universe, something to do with quantum realities or something!"

Madame Raven "Best if you can set things off some distance away from us, if we can distract them hopefully we can avoid them." Looking towards the stairs to the trapdoor she quickly figured out how quickly they could move once things started. "I'm sure you're very stiff after all that time strapped down, let me help you about Nǎinái" she as respectfully as possible offered to help, whilst hopefully allowing Wrack to save some face. She'd never known her grandparents, for some that was for the better, but she knew how to read people which helped butter up grandparents as it was to put fear in villains.

Madame Raven Seems all these kids were here for the music, as it should be, and new people weren't interesting enough to take their attention. Which was totally fair, these kids weren't terrible and she wondered if they had any original songs. So as any sensible person would she began to dance along to the music. Callie had always enjoyed dancing and had only gotten better as she had a few years to perfect the art. It was also true that part of the reason she'd practice so much was because of a few months spent with a Capoeira master in Brazil, dancing with acrobatics made fighting moves more fluid and harder for an enemy to predict. Though for now, it was all about the music and the dance.

Traveller Things seemed to be going well inside the landing bay, she was impressed and a little proud that the Terran heroes were more than up to the task. And Galvanic had the brute strength that she couldn't bring to bear, well not without a quick reworking of her suit routines and that was practical right now. So it was time for a new plan, she scanned the ship and spotted an airlock close to the bridge, it was a risk but with everything else going on they might just be focused everywhere but there. "I'm going in!" she pointed to show where she was going, just in case they tried to listen in just like they had. She smiled when she saw the airlock, it was a design she'd recognised from her time in the Khanate and it had a simple override that she now used to get the airlock to cycle open. With a quick check around she stepped in and allowed the airlock to cycle open into the ship.

Computers: 1d20+15 22, guess I was planning on Knowledge (Technology) to do all the heavy lifting!

As it seems that the others have the landing bay well locked down, can I find an airlock close to Bridge to get me inside the ship?

Mz Grue Having learned an important lesson about humans she made sure it was okay before giving the twins a big friendly hug! She was interacting with real humans and superheroes at that! "Yes, I'm new! I'm Daphne Celeste and I just arrived from well out of state! I was named after my Aunt, but not the same Aunt as my Uncle here but the other side of the family, because that could get like really weird! Family are weird like that, I guess...?" somehow Daphne had managed to say all that without having to take a single breath "Sorry this is all so exciting! I've never been to any place just like this and I'm babbling aren't I?" Meanwhile, Pseudo, who was used to Daphne's manners by now, took a moment to talk to his other ward. "I have been following your progress Vueriz, and I am pleased that things have been going well! After this, I have to go back out on business, but I will make sure to return before the school holidays. If you wish you can spend that time visiting the 'house, maybe you could bring some friends to visit?"

Madame Raven "Only three of us are active at the moment, though we're a very welcoming family. And brooding only really works at night, perched on something like a gargoyle, rain is optional!" she gave a sly smile "I also spent a couple of years finding myself, though not enough which is why I'm here..." Any further explanations were cut off by the arrival of the other two on the team, everyone but her was powered it seemed, not that it ever bothered her she brought her own skills to the table. "Curiouser and curiouser! Guess it's a good that I'm able to imagine six impossible things before breakfast!" she seemed to attract literary characters in her superhero career it seemed "It's a real pleasure to meet you all here today, good start getting us to introduce each other and what we can do. Unlike the rest of you I'm going to have to keep my identity a secret, you might not believe me but it's more for someone else's benefit than myself!"

Mz Grue Daphne enjoyed shopping for human clothes, even when her jumpsuit provided all the fashion choices she needed. Still, new ideas were always good, especially as apparently her fashion sense was a few years out of date. Luckily she was at the back of a store when the hologram popped into existence to shower her with options and confetti! With some gentle encouragement and a smidge of telekinesis, Daphe encouraged the probe into a nearby changing booth, though anyone looking up may get a glimpse of the glowing hologram. After getting the probe to repeat, a little quieter, the offer she looked at the prize for participation. The little lump of biotechnology didn't look like much but it was a Grue memory module, obviously, the implication was that it had the memories of her previous life, all the experiences she was still missing about the last few years. See if you find a source of the probe Mother Unit, I'll delay it for a few moments she then spoke, in a loud whisper to the hologram before her "What's to guarantee that you'll keep your word about all this? I don't think I'm a good enough fighter to expend that many quatloos!"

Claremont Academy, Morning If you weren't paying attention it might seem that the two had arrived the normal way, rather than via teleporter, a guardian and their ward arriving on their first day at a new school. It looks familiar, but I don't remember anything about this place Daphne looked around with something approaching wide-eyed wonder Did I really go to school here? "You previously went to a place called Wells High School, though you did assist them when you were older. And remember to speak not use telepathy, humans are unnerved by such things!" Uncle Rick spoke with a deep melodic voice, that well-suited his current human identity "You are probably experiencing Jamais Vous, the experience of feeling you know a place without remembering anything about the location." the third voice came from a cube attached to Daphne's patch-festooned backpack, who (the cube, not the bag) was Mother Unit Daphne's carer for want of a better word. "Though it is probably best you keep quiet, humans are still nervous around Artificial General Intelligences." As they chatted away the group drew nearer to the building where some of its many students were already milling around for many and various reasons related to the still early day.

Madame Raven "We should probably secure him before we leave then, and definitely no killing him whilst he's helpless. Though we can't stop you if you want to give him a swift boot to something personal..." She stepped back folding her Raven Claw back away and putting her hands up. "That should do it! If you have a plan I'll follow you out, if you need something don't hesitate to let me know!"

Madame Raven "You should listen to your watch!" it came from just behind Dwayne's ear, where most would swear no one was there before Onto a nearby chair Callie lept, dressed in what most people could tell was a classic Raven costume. Compared to the ramshackle one she wore at school, or the mix-and-match version of her times travelling, this was a sleek hi-tech suit. It felt a little weird to Callie to wear the suit in an open place like the Atom Academy, but it wasn't just her identity she was protecting, she pulled the hood down though, her identity hidden by a domino mask. "Madame Raven!" she gave a friendly smile, something many thought a Raven couldn't do "I guess we're going to be working together on the same team?" Whilst her journey had potentially answered some questions about why she was still here in the 21st century, it opened a plethora of other questions. And if there was anywhere better to find out answers about Super Sciences than the ATom's she couldn't think of one. Besides she's gotten a taste for investigating the weird and unusual whilst travelling and she wanted to keep giving back and this was a good resource to do such things. Besides she wasn't in a rush to get all the answers, who she was didn't depend totally on what the truth about her origins!

I apologise for fostering on you one of two size-changing characters at the same time! Super hard to balance, as you can see, but I appreciate the confidence you have in me. Everything else is alas typos and missing stuff, was missing a Feat which means the numbers were written down wrong. Same with Mother Unit, numbers were right but written down wrong. Should all be fixed now and hopefully ready to go.

Madame Raven Having effortlessly woven through the crowd Callie popped out from behind Charlie, giving a friendly little wave. "Hello there, I'm Callie a friend of Charlie, we're almost like family really!" She'd been away for a while so everyone was new to her, but that was okay she still enjoyed meeting new people "Are we not dancing here? It's been a couple of years but I'm sure people should be dancing!"

Starshine Luckily when the giant illusion popped into life it was of someone that they'd covered recently in History of Supers classes, so with a quick double take she focused on the one nearby Drone that hadn't been fooled (or was just really focused). "Does it still work if you point out it's not real?" she wondered out loud as she fired off a burst of hard light. The bracelets gave a sad chirp, as disappointed as her when it seemed not to have any effect. Maybe she should thing of something bigger?

Starshine With a growing sense that she probably screwed this all up, though always good to assume the best in her book. As subtly as she could she gestured for Consuelo to move away from the woman, even to help the others or go get help from others. Then she floated so she was in the eye line of this woman, glowing brightly to try and keep her attention on just her for now. "Could you maybe tell me why you've done all this ma'am?" stay polite and act as if this was all natural and maybe they could get out of this without resorting to becoming popsicles!

Starshine Rosalind had been powered up and ready to attack the Tengu, but it seemed that her schoolmates were well ahead from a power-level point of view. She'd have to remember all these tricks if they got into trouble again in the near future. "Wow... just wow! That was pretty cool!" she enthused she looked around and groaned at her own"So what's the plan now? I'm guessing we're not out of the woods yet..." accidental joke "... metaphorically speaking!"

Madame Raven "As someone who has only one... maybe two lives to live I'll enjoy my successes along with learning from my failures. As long as these things don't defeat me." Callie gesticulated at the lock that she'd been working on for a few minutes. As she did she filed away the stuff she didn't understand completely, like this mysterious Mr Wrack, as something she'd look into when she got back to Freedom City, whenever that happened to be. A note for her journal she figured. "Unless we're lucky there are at least two in the warehouse and a similar number patrolling outside, most probably more if Mr Silk valued his precious objects. And I doubt all three of us can sneak out unless we figure out a good distraction!" She wasn't happy about leaving Mr Silk to the police here, but with getting the three of them out they couldn't worry about an extra person of any size or build.
