Triakosia "Cat can generally tell, they're like little grumpy meta's!" On the question of the tripped she though before adding. "The story I've got for you doesn't need us to go to the office..." she paused before adding "...unless of course you want to see how the office works, I have a cubical well away from where the important people sit!" she grinned "I promise we'll have plenty of time in the office and tasting there half decent coffee, but I know the allure of that busy newsroom!" She remember her first day sneaking up from the basement just to see the reporters all in action, it had some real energy of something about to happen. Even if it was just people in an office working on computer screens. Or maybe she was an old romantic.

Zhenschina-voin "Well, it nice that you invited us all to tea then, or all this would be complicated!" Klara grinned at the Duke, who'd bumbled into letting them ignore that they weren't exactly guests. "Well as this is the jurisdiction of the Danish we'll hand you both to the authorities, or at least you will Dreadnaught." she turned to Morgen and added, "I can take you back to the UK to get you sorted, then as promised you can wander as you please." It wasn't what she wanted, taking charge of things, but at times it was necessary when dealing with supers who were very much like herding cats.

Bee With a quick glance, Melissa picked out the boxes that she did need, plus the bag with all her essentials and a few clothes. "Wow what an honor, now what to pick..." she put a finger to her lips and looked thoughtful "Maybe some Honey to the Bee or voice of the Beehive?" She couldn't hold the joke for long and burst out laughing. "I'll find some decent pop station, you know something you can hum along to!" It was nice to be able to make such subtle jokes about being heroes, maybe she should find someone at University who she could bring in on the secret?

Scarab's Terrible, terrible Bluff: 1d20 11
-
The Scarab III Kamala stepped forward head down trying to act as humble as she could, even though it wasn't really in her nature. <"Excuse me sir but it wasn't him that did this thing, it was one of those Western Superheroes like they have in America!"> she wasn't sure on his attitude on the decadent West so kept it neutral so not to tip him off one way or another <"They wore one of those fancy armoured suits, maybe this is what stopped your weapons?"> She watches everyone carefully, whilst apparently looking downwards, looking for potential trouble that was bound to start soon.

White Lioness "What no I'm as local as anyone here!" she grinned, her accent being pretty spot on. Àjàṣoro paused for a moment and stared at the television, almost automatically converting things too much more sensible units. If she was local she wouldn't be so unused to such low (to her) temperatures "As crazy as it sounds I'd like to experience a normal teenage experience, or as normal as you can manage at Claremont! As the White Lioness, I have a certain obligation to defend and protect my people and lands. It is of cause a great honour but is now something that will define my future. I'd just like to delay that for just a little while!" she looked a little guilty and added, "That may be a little more serious an answer than you were after!"

GM Post Between the keen mind of Terrifica and the super senses of Triakosia, they were quickly able to discover the secret entrance to the basement. Compared to the warehouse above thing were very different, there were a hum and hiss of various devices that kept this hidden from most senses. It was also kept cold, probably to keep the collection preserved through at one end there appeared to be something looking like '50's cryo chambers. The rest of the room was a cornucopia of various things that had been collected from various locations of super conflicts, one or two even looked familiar to the two heroes themselves. And this was only a small section, more was unseen in the twists and turns of the shelving.

White Lioness "I know we might be stranger now but I'd like to hope we'll be able to become friends. But I expect no special treatment from you!" she smiled at Monica she was sincere in all that she was saying. Whilst she was trying to act as much like the American Teenager as she could there was the diplomat that she'd been trained to be, her many tutors would be proud their efforts gained some traction. "I think we should see this as a fresh start for us all, let's not worry about the past for now. We have plenty of time throughout the year for all that!"

White Lioness Like her brother, she saw in the Headmistress the strong women that were in and surrounded their family, and maybe even some of the men as well. She wanted to listen to the word that Summers had to say, but something that the boy had said caught her attention. After some thought, she decided to add her own theory during a suitable pause in the speech. "I like to think myself more like a Sheepdog, protecting and guiding the herd to safety from those that wish them harm. A more worthy goal I like to think!" she whispered to the teen.

Zhenshchina-voin Trust Dimitri to win by losing, it was such him in a nutshell, she was still worried about him he was a friend after all or at least a frienemy of the highest order! "We'd like you to return with us to your home, the way tribes and territory work now is very different from your time. But I swear to you that once we've arranged thing you are free to live as you wish." no honey words or half-truths here all they had over the two villains was the truth "You should look towards Doctor Zui as to how to act in such ways, it's not a burden to carry but a problem to solve a challenge to think through. Though maybe with less crime." she gave his shoulder a squeeze, a little too hard maybe he still was a very annoying man "But we are at an impasse now, what are we going to do now?"

Triakosia Centurion might be smart but he only was smart for a cat, so the now confused feline decided to use his other senses to determine this potential interlopers identity. Boldly the cat pushed it cold little nose against Casey to get a better smell of her, she must have passed some cat test as he began to rub his head against her cheek a purr loudly. "Looks like he likes you, though I warn you he still will stick his claws in or give you a friendly nip." with a smile Dancia resisted the urge to take a picture of the pair "We kind of adopted each other when I first moved in, I think he's still trying to work out why his claws don't seem to affect me." Having finished being friendly he went over to Dancia in case she might consider feeding him again. "Do you want to risk traffic or should we fly there again?"

The Traveller Whilst she was more than capable of handling the diplomacy it always set her teeth on edge, especially when dealing with professional politicians. So she was more than happy to let Cavalier deal with such matters, whilst she could explore other options. Fighting a hologram was out so that left the technological option, however, the hologram was generated was probably the best option though it was important to determine if it was a fancy AI or a live transmission. If they were lucky and it was the later they'd had time to prepare for whatever retaliation they might do of the signal was block. the other option was to let this all play out, though she suspected they wouldn't accept a no so planning for this she bought up the data her suit had been gathering to look at what options they had.

Terror Bird's Toughness Save: 1d20+10 26
-
White Lioness Whilst the Terror Bird was something that needed to be dealt with she had to first deal with the reason why she'd come here. With the beast apparently in hand so far she made a run across the warehouse, leaping over where the meeting had taken place grabbing the crystal as she did so. With that done she carried on towards the Terror Bird to attempt to attack him, though with everything she'd already done the attack was ineffective. Looking up at the massive bird creature it was a little daunting that she might be the next target of its massive claws.

Terror Bird's Toughness Save: 1d20+10 15, Dazed and Bruised, a good start! White Lion's Attack Roll: 1d20+12 14, not as good! As Terror Bird is dazed your now up again!

GM Post The metal slammed into the massive bird-like humanoid making it scream in pain, it also made it paused in its attack apparently stopped by the rents the metal had caused in its feathered skin. The weapon dealer decided that running away was the best option in this case, though a few of the braver guards fired off a few ineffective shots at the massive beast. Luckily for them, the beast seemed more focused on the more obvious heroes, and the heroes seemed more focused on Terror Bird for now.

White Lioness "You should not give up so easily young man!" said a rich bemused voice by his ear. Àjàṣorò had slinked to beside the larger teen and managed to find a seat next to him, for some reason many were giving him a wide berth. "I am Àjàṣoro, pleased to meet you!" she whispered to the boy, she'd heard enough speeches in her time to know that the start of the speech would be all platitudes, they'd have a few minutes before the real important stuff would be mentioned. He'd reminded her a little of her half-brother Baako, though nowhere near as brutish or stupid, and she'd never been afraid of him and had even tried to be civil at times. Though it had never worked, though here it should go much better!
-
White Lioness This was fascinating and all with all these potential heroes just chatting away, and something that she'd never have seen until she came here, but it was getting a smidge crowded in here. "May I suggest that we all move to the common room? We still need to at least attempt to unpack a little!" She'd chosen her words with some care, as she'd noticed certain behaviours in her new roommate. Since taking on the mantle of the Lioness she's been able to observe many things that even her keen eye would have missed before. As people shuffle around Àjàṣorò made her way over to Monica and whispered in her ear "If you wish to feel free to remain in our room, I will play the part of the dutiful host. And if you wish to talk about your struggles later you will find I have a good ear."

Doctor Thorne is literally built for this kind of thing!

The Traveller With a smile, Sitara strapped herself into the pilot's seat and bought up a holo-screen in front of her, which with a few presses she turned off the ships internal gravity. As the ship tumbled around the planet at the same speed as planet's local gravity Facsimile found himself start to float in the microgravity. "Let me know if you feel sick, some don't do well in Zero-G, but don't worry if you do the Kavaca’s got a top-notch nanite cleaning system!" Whilst she enjoyed the feel of no gravity now and again, today she was all business plotting a good course back to CoVic station. It was enough to watch the Terrans reaction.

The Scarab III In most places wearing the same, or at least a similar, disguise. but in the market, there were at least a dozen women (as far as she could tell) wearing similar clothes. "Don't worry Doctor he'll want to find out how you blocked the Daka crystal. Then maybe he'll kill you..." she couldn't help by teasing him a little "Don't worry before he can do that I'll be there to help. At least this time my sonic cannon will work alongside the jammer." She spent all night working on making them work happily alongside each other, what with flight she was running on determination and Turkish coffee right now.

GM Post The two toon Gangster Molls had by now jumped up onto the counter brandishing there comically oversized weapons as they scanned the fog filled room. On hearing what she must have thought was the heroes the girl with the Thompson, Vera apparently pulled the trigger. The barrel literally pulled back as it spat out a series of bullets, each with a little set of eyes and a determined grin, like you saw on those old aircraft noses. They whizzed through the air, slowing as they passed the two heroes, before hitting the wall behind them. All the bullets hit and merged until only one remained, that fell to the floor with little-winged bullets circling its head. "That the kind of thing I was thinking off." finally a bemused Lucy offered looking down at the stunned bullet.

Bee Melissa eyed the boxes carefully before decided that caution was the best option and just picked up one of the boxes. It was at times like this that she'd solved the electrical discharge problem of shrinking objects, and the possibility of them going pop. It was a good reason to go to FCU and full set of labs to work on the problem. HIT might be more highly regarded but it wasn't where the supers tended to be, and she was going to be a hero like her uncle! "If you want we can come back from some of it later, all a really need is a bag of clothes and essentials." she looked up at her uncle, just over the top of the box.
