The Traveller Gracefully the craft took to the air, floating silently on it's Anti-grav units till above the treeline. Where a few of the local watched the Kavaca turn upwards and finally fire its engine to shoot into the deep blue sky. Within seconds the blue darkened into black as the craft made orbit. From there the craft could have made the jump to hyperspace, but instead, Sitara put the starship into an orbit. "I thought I'd give you a moment to enjoy the view, there's something about watching a planet turn below you especially when it's your first time!" with a thought she added, "If you want the full experience I could turn off the gravity?"

White Lioness Looking around it appeared that there was an order and a place that people wanted to sit, it was something that she'd need to note for next time. In her defence, she had spent more time the other side of the whole crowd/speaker dynamic. Not that she was really upset by the whole thing, to her this was still very exciting even if it was probably fairly mundane to many of those here. Still, she wasn't one that was used to waiting for any length of time. "I wonder how long before we start?" she mused out loud.

White Lioness "It sounds strange but I've never felt like a princess, I was never expected to take on the mantle of leadership so I could do mostly as I pleased. Despite the efforts of several very frustrated tutors! So I guess that in that way it will be a challenge, but I am always up for new challenges!" With the newcomers fake warning Àjàṣorò grabbed the nearest small object, in this case a paperclip, and sent it whizzing right past Nicoles ear "You sound like my Umbheki, but I am more than capable of taking care of myself." she smiled and shifted to a less defensive since "But please welcome to my room I am Àjàṣorò!"

The Scarab III It was on the whole not the best place to meet up, with so many exits and people around it could get very messy very quickly. But it also gave her time to perfect her device so she could use her sonic cannon if trouble started and his overconfidence could be something that could be used to there advantage. <"Then the market is shall be! Doctor Misi shall be there to handle the meeting, and I'll be close by if you boss thinks to try anything funny!"> She turned to the Doctor and put her finger on her lips to stop whatever cowardly babbling he was about to launch into, she wasn't planning on being that far away from where it was all going down.

The Traveller "I spent a couple of months on the Lor-var back then, being the only Praetorian that could pass as one unaltered." the voice of Sitara came from the doorway to the cockpit "They weren't a starfaring species yet, and neither were the Grue. It was weird to be only a planet that seemed so like my home, which then I thought long lost, but so alien at the same time." She slid into the pilot's seat and started to manipulate the control as the engines rumbled to life. "The local decided it's best that we leave, so unless you left anything behind we better leave. And as for the Delaztri I'll let Amara tell you once we get to CoVic station, it's her people and stories to tell really."

The Scarab III It was difficult to keep in character when her bluff had been so successful, but somehow she managed. Without looking away she talked to the cowardly Doctor. "You know this area better than me, where would be a good place for us to meet you Cousin, keep in mind he probably will try and betray us?" she hoped that this thug didn't speak English, but it wouldn't be a disaster if he knew the plan. <"Keep cooperating and things won't get messy for both of us."> it didn't hurt to keep the thug on his toes.

GM Post "I have only been online for a few years, Sitara says she was bored of speaking to herself. We often go exploring when not on missions for the Praetorians. This ship, however, has records going back to the time of the Delaztri Empire." To illustrate the point she displayed a hologram of this region of space, with Earth helpfully pointed out (and very far away). A portion of the space displayed galactic powers of according to the date around three thousand years ago. "The current fate of the Delaztri are unknown, some of the Praetorians are quite curious to find out what happened to the species and the Empire."

The Scarab III Kamala might not be the most skilled at intimidating people, but she did know how to stack the deck in her favour. She held up the vambrace to his head that made a powering up noise (a set of simple tones to test the device) and the gem glowed. <"I am The Scarab!" she glowered "And this is a powerful sonic weapon, and you don't want to know what it would do if I fired it at this close range into your skull!"> Nothing right now! she though counting on the fact he was very unlikely to be a telepath. <"Luckily for you I just want you to take a message to your boss.">

The Scarab Kamala pondered for a few moments, her options right now were fairly limited as she had few resources to hand as she explained to the Doctor "But who will actually pass the information to him? I can't do it and I doubt you have the nerve to do this task!" she was musing to herself really as she set her eye on a possible solution. Still led unconscious, and at the safe distance was the thug she'd felled only a few scant minutes before. As gently as she could she knelt down and shook the thug awake. <"I need you to do a little something for me!">

White Lioness Àjàṣorò had never gone to an actual school before, well never attended one thought she'd had visited a few in an official capacity. She'd had several tutors but that really wasn't the same, especially as they all knew and treated her by her status. So she'd never been to assembly and was excited to see what it entailed, it might be boring for some but for her even the boring was something interesting for her. And she'd gotten used to sitting and listening for people talking for hours on end.

White Lioness It was fascinating to hear the real opinion about American heroes, from apparently those that had interacted with them. Though she couldn't help but feel that there something more going on, but today was moving day and not the time to bring things up. "The throne of Dakana isn't quite like that I'm afraid, I'm no Disney princess! Being a member of the Kings family doesn't give you the right to become ruler someday. If it was my brother would become King someday. As it happens the holder of the White Lioness one day I might take over the throne. Though I'm in hurry to take over the position from my father."

White Lioness Àjàṣorò knew exactly what it was like to have everyone eyes on you, she'd been well known among her people since the day she was born. She was looking forward to a little anonymity here in the States, but in the dorms, it was different these people were, she hoped, her friends. "I have a confession to make, but it must be a secret among those at this school. I am not only Àjàṣorò, I am also the daughter of King M'Balla and the bearer of the mantle of the White Lioness!" as she spoke her accent changed into the rich tones of a Dakani accent "I did not do this to deceive you more to experience the reality normal life of an American Teenager. Albeit one with superpowers!"

The Scarab III Despite being a good Muslim she accepted that people would well be people, she was all about people being free to do what they wished, as long as they didn't break the law. it still didn't mean she could find people skeevy, and she shot the Doctor such a look. Luckily for him, he couldn't see her through the bug like goggles. "That's all fine and good Doctor, but how do you plan to do that without tipping him off? He knows you and I'm going to stand out, not even a hijab going to work in a place like this."

Lucy Harker She should really expect heroes not to know about such things, having skipped the last eighty years or so. Still, at some point, she'd have to find a way to show him some classic reels of something like Betty Boop. "Well, it's difficult to explain! They'll be able to defy physics in strange ways..." realising something she just grinned "Actually they're pretty much like regular heroes really. Just expect that they can throw you a curveball, that is do something completely unexpected." Boy, this was more difficult than she expected, they need to sit down and help him catch up with the 21st Century.

GM Post The room was packed with people, mostly fellow students with a scattering of adults, as always there were rumours that some famous fashion house or other was there to look for talented models and designers. Whilst a large crowd might be good for the house, and of cause the charities they were supporting, it wasn't good for two heroes looking for a potential villain! And of cause it wasn't going to get any easier, Daphne leaned in to whisper into Casey's ear as they both stood at the side of the stage. "There some sort of psychic jammer out there, keep an eye out for something strange."

Bee Melissa thought about her Uncles words for a few seconds before adding. "Maybe a little more experimenting before we try it on the couch then, besides I pretty sure Mom really likes that one." she grinned She then directed the packing of various objects, somehow knowing where everything was among the mess that was her room. The amount she was fitting into the boxes suggested that she was already using her Dyne particles, or more likely a very skilled packer. "Right I think that everything, besides it's not like I can pop back when I need something!"

White Lioness At last her roommate was here, it was another exciting part of this whole experience. Overjoyed she gave her new roommate a huge friendly hug, before regaining a little bit of composure. "I am your roommate, Àjàṣorò, I was just showing our new neighbours our room. If you need some time to settle in then we can always leave, I myself have yet to unpack!" She pointed to her large oversized holdall to emphasise the point. "If you wish that bed I am happy to move, I have no preference in the matter."

The Scarab III Kamala wasn't so mollycoddled by his cowardly attitude to count him out as a threat, he'd tried to sell the crystal after all, but occasionally he reminded her that he could be a bigger threat if the situation allows. Which she for one wasn't going to allow. "I think Egypt has seen enough trouble over the last few years, let alone the rest of the region, without these weapons getting into the hands of the wrong sort of people." Rather than enter a debate with the Doctor further she sent the command to set off the controlled explosion. Then it was time to focus on the next issue. "Don't worry Doctor we'll be dealing with your dear Cousin next. Where do you think we'll be able to find him and more importantly the corrupted Daka crystal?"

White Lioness Àjàṣorò smiled at herself as she pondered that she shouldn't set her brother with a date on the first day, especially when there were many eligible women (and men) back in Dakana who would wish for that honour. "Like many siblings, we bicker and fight quite often, but yes it is nice to have him here with me." She stood to one side and swept her hand into the room. "Mi Casa, Su Casa as they say, though I've not really unpacked yet. I'm waiting for my new roommate to arrive." she was particularly proud of learning that expression.

The Scarab III "It seems that you good Cousin Farouk has gone into the arms business Doctor. He obviously saw a better option for profit whilst you were away!" She wasn't upset at this set back instead she was focused on the current problem at hand, it was obvious that these weapons couldn't be left here with or without the Daka crystal, people tended to be quite ingenious after all. "I think a ramping up the resonance to destructive levels should do the trick, after making sure that the explosion is properly contained so not to do damage to surrounded properties." As she spoke she did a quick calculation in her head working out the safest possible way to achieve the task. "Oh and we better get you off the roof now Doctor!"

Zhenschina-voin She shouldn't have, Klara should have taken his surrender gracefully, but the Duke was a very irritating man and she could help herself. She punched him firmly in the face, not enough to really hurt him but enough to cause a satisfactory sound. "Now I am!" she smiled down at the Duke before stepping back. She even offered a hand to help him up, taking special effort to show that it was open and she wasn't going to punch him again. Even if it was really, really tempting right now.

GM Post "If you don't mind I would prefer if you don't shorten it that drastically." the voice actually sounded hurt "My name come from Akaza meaning sky and Svara meaning voice, a literal Voice from the Sky. Sitara had quite the sense of humour does she not?" As she explained her name the airlock door closed and a strange blue light filled the chamber, the scan must have given her a few seconds to consider as she added. "If Sanskrit is too complicated for you maybe you would find Sky easier to pronounce?" as she spoke the inner airlock door opened "You are also free of any pathogens and it appears you are in fine health for your species. Though I'm afraid I had to use Lor norms as I have scant data on Terrans, and Sitara's biology has been extensively altered."

The Scarab III Kamala smiled enjoying her moment of victory, she enjoyed the mental challenge of judging her foes and winning out over the actual fighting itself. That was an unfortunate thing that came with this job. She was more interested in the Daka powered gun and she picked up all of the fallen weapons, securing two away for safety and taking time to examine the third. Figure the working of the gun and skill in their manufacture would help her refine her countermeasures. After all, she was pretty sure this wouldn't be the only defences around the crystal. "So Doctor do you wish to come down now, or do you feel safer up there?"

White Lioness Àjàṣorò looked at Ashley for a beat or two before giving up and just giving her a big friendly smile. Instead, she turned her attention to the friendlier of the two sisters. "This is my first year here too! Until recently I was home tutored, my family is very traditional like that. Though my father is trying to embrace new ideas, which is why I guess I was allowed here!" then with a thought she added "Myself and my twin brother Kamau, though I'm the eldest despite what he says." she grinned before adding "You should come meet him once we've settled in neighbour!"

Triakosia "I've not often gone beyond Low Earth Orbit, so much stuff needs doing here you know." she waved her arms around in emphasis "In fact somehow I've spent more time on alternative Earths than in space, sometimes I feel like there some connections between all the alternative me!" As if one cue Katie came in wearing a massive padded jacket and wearing a Miss Americana backpack. "Can I go into space to Mom?" Katie asked pouring on the charm like only an eight-year-old could "Let's see you can do tall buildings in a single bound first." Dancia ruffled Katie's hair "Now let see you out, I hear the car coming now." she turned to Casey adding "I'll only be a moment, watch Centurion he's a bit quick on the claws if you're not invulnerable." She was talking to a large orange cat that looked at Casey somewhat banefully, he was not what you'd call a cute kitty.
