Dr Rosa Thorne "I only discovered about the game today, a minor demon, more an imp really, owed me a favor..." she dropped the fact in a matter of fact way "The game is tonight starting at midnight because these kinds of thing have a certain method to them!" She understood the power of rituals, and the game was just an elaborate ritual really, but for those that didn't understand them found it difficult to believe. "I know that at least one minor demon lord will be attending and my source believe one of the minor Greek Goddesses would be there. Medea of Eris would be my guess."

ic Emerald City Team-up: Burning down the House

GM Post Approaching the final house it was quickly pretty obvious as to who had caused all these problems. Approaching from the large pool Mag-Might could see a human figure through the large doors into the building. She and it was very obviously a woman was clad in a costume that would have looked more at home at a fetish club, an encasing red and black leather from head to toe. Not only did the flames lick around her under her complete control even forming what looked like hair from the top of her head. -
ic Emerald City Team-up: Burning down the House

Emerald Spider Peri took a quick look inside to see if there was anyone who needed rescuing, but luckily no one was home on a night like tonight. She couldn't help but feel that this was deliberate, which was in some way was a good thing, it meant that they weren't the killing kind of villain who were the worst type to fight. "Let's hope this applies to arachnid-themed heroes as well!" she mused to herself as she quickly checked that the Fire trucks had the situation in hand. Then she made her way towards the last burning house, if she was lucky then they were still there and she could stop this firebug from creating any more work for them all. -
The Scarab III Given the choice Kamala would have continued the ruse a little longer, they couldn't be completely sure that the guy wasn't playing them to find out who they were. But it was Echoheads operation and she was there to help him out, not that she wasn't ready for when trouble started, as trouble always seemed to start where supers were involved. Still, she couldn't help but give him her own opinion on the problem. Be cautious here, we don't know how he's connected to all this she warned him telepathically.

GM Post The droid pause at the edge of the wood, for now, content to attack them rather than go into the treeline and out of sight. It was difficult to determine what thoughts went through its positronic brain for sure, but it seemed to want to slow them down before going into hiding. A solid beam of energy spiked out towards Facsimile, another surprise weapon from this war bot it seemed, with so many weapons to deploy it would be devastating against regular force. Which was of cause the entire reason it had been built in the first place. But luckily they were anything but regular people!

The Traveller It was difficult to keep a bead on the droid as it moved so quickly, but Sitara tried her best helped by the fact that for now, it seemed to be focused on the Terran. It must somehow consider him the biggest threat to its existence, which showed that even robots were poor judges of characters. Or it normally would be if not for the fact that, for the moment, none of her blaster bolts found there target, for now, and she had other options if that failed. Not that she was concerned to get the droid before her ally did, in fact, if he did she'd be happy to buy him a drink. Not that she needed much of an excuse really...

Triakosia Dancia was many things but the one that she'd grown into was that of an investigative reporter, she actually enjoyed the fluff of the web content but it was still nice to get published in the main paper (even if it was mostly done online now, it was still special in its own way.) So with this one clue, she set to work looking at what had happened to Samantha Luck-Hendricks, despite her advanced age she'd been in the very good health and had been going to a clinic to check on her health one that had suddenly closed not long after her disappearance. If that wasn't enough there was something that caught her attention, the name of the clinic was the DeConlectoribus, the Collectors.

GM Post The detective was very efficient and quickly went to work directing the CSI and officers to gather information about the scene. They had found anything in the base itself, whoever had taken the objects had been careful to leave nothing behind, and similarly the traffic camera's show nothing around the time just before the hole was reported. Such efficiency did sometimes lead to some overconfidence, and luckily for them, they'd gotten lucky this time. Just before the cameras went dead there was a large panel van parked near where the hole had appeared, one large enough to take the largest of the missing items. On the side of the van was a brand or company name, DeConlectoribus.

Triakosia's Notice would be 25 with Skill Mastery, it you're cool with using the latest update.

Zhenshchina-voin It was like watching a master at work distracting one of the most powerful supervillains on the planet, at least in influence over raw power, with the idiot skit. It would only last as long as it suited him of course but for now, they could enjoy the moment. Arms crossed Klara leant against the door frame and watched the event unfold, waiting to see what would happen when the shoe finally dropped, but she wasn't going to completely wait for trouble. For now, they were paying her no heed, though obviously, they knew she was there, and she'd pushed her stealth skills to its limits, but that would pretty soon change and probably not in a good way.

Ms Britannia "Is it not strange that we bring in the gods of the dead to discuss the survival of humanity, it seems to us that they win either way. But we are prepared to listen to whatever they have to say." The light around Ms Britannia faded a little and she spoke again in a singular voice. "Can we maybe move this along a little, please? I have trouble with just one personality up here, let alone untold multitudes!" she managed a weak smile, it was worth the pain if as many people as they could get out of this alive.

Triakosia She was fast and her senses told her that her guest was on her way to the door, but her daughter has those same senses and was much closer to the door. And she had the family stubbornness that meant she wasn't going to just wait like Dancia had explained many time before. She had that moment of horror at what Katie had revealed until she could confirm that it was Casey, and she wasn't done explaining either. "She not quite my mom she my Mother from Another Earth!" she explained in the seriousness that only a young child could manage. "I'm staying here whilst my mom and dad fight a massive evil!" Casey could see from Dancia's face that things were a lot less rosy from her double. "Please come in." Dancia waving in her young intern "Things are a little chaotic this time of morning!"

GM Post The hills were quiet and still apart from the incessant hum they produced, nothing large could live long in these conditions, and even birds flew around the hills if they could. The brave heroes didn't have that option as the closed the distance to the hills and began to climb the foothills that never got truly massive. As they reached just below the hill there was a discordant note in the incessant humming of the hills, over the ridge was the sources of the power sources there were here to try and stop.

GM Post With a singular purpose that only a droid could manage is kept pounding away across the fields ignoring the assault that the two of them tried to inflict on the mechanical warrior. And it did have something in mind as it rapidly made it way back towards the tree line. At the treeline, it pauses briefly, ready to leap into the cover of the bright green leaves. It might have lost its stealth field but there were others ways to stay out of sight to assault them. They were going from one problem to the other from the sneaky droid.

The Traveller With the science out of the way Sitara could concentrate on the actual business of taking down the android, they were after all built to take a lot of battering and keep operating. Twirling her cylindrical blasters around her hands, yeah it was showing off little but she'd just pulled off another miracle of science and engineering. She then pulled off a series of blaster shots from the two weapons using then to range find on the moving droid, which resulted in a fairly solid hit. When the droid kept moving after shrugging off the blast she said something quite rude in her native tongue.

GM Post Even with a sorority full of organisers, the actual day was still a rush of people trying to get everything done right now! Even the lorded models were roped into helping to get everything ready on time. With so many people around and watching it was impossible to use any powers to speed thing along, besides it would be almost impossible to explain the sudden completion. With less than an hour to go before curtain up, everything was as in place as it was ever going to be and the models could finally get themselves ready, or at least those that needed to apply makeup physically, and discuss how they were going to do everything today.

Miss Grue Daphne had never been the type to hold grudges or assign blame, she was more concerned with making sure everyone here was safe. Plus she really wanted to get back to Freedom City to help out there however she could. "I can survive almost any environment..." she volunteered to the others "... plus my telepathy seems to work on anyone regardless of the languages they speak. We should move quickly in case we're in any kind of danger." In fact, she was already on her feet and ready to move out as soon as the others were ready to leave.

Scarab III "Did I not tell you to wait till it was all arranged. This man has better thing to do than deal with the likes of us!" Kamala had of cause had a contingency plan for just such an event, she'd had the material tucked away in her backpack storage locker. She'd wrapped a sari around her, hiding the bodysuit she'd worn, and a massive head scarf hiding most of her face and her goggles around her chin. Just act natural and we'll be fine, and he'll be in for a surprise if trouble starts. she said as comforting as she could manage, which wasn't really her strength if truth be told.
