Well part of it is that because of how she was raised she doesn't believe in all this fake god malarkey, so it's more her having some proof that it actually happened. But I'm happy for some it to start coming forward in the thread.

Klara's Bluff Roll: 1d20+10 16

Zhànshì dì nǚrén Klara had to improvise quick, which wasn't always her strongest suit but she wasn't a chump either. All she had was that she wasn't in uniform, or well know either, if only she spoke Cantonese... <"Of cause, why can they never properly inform people of these things!"> throwing up her hands and acting upset, relying on the fact that at some of the officers would understand Mandarin "Forgive the error Officer, I was asked to come here from the Mainland to negotiate with our Russian allies. I guess we should have relied on one of our own teleporters but they insisted!" It wasn't a lie per se and she never claimed that she was from China, just heavily implied it and hoped they assumed that she was one of there heroes. And if they did try and check the bureaucracy would take hours to finally get back an answer, she knew that from having to deal with them back home.

Elizabeth looked up and was about to make a remark when Comrade Frost burst came into the office. There was a brief look of... concern, which was quite common when Frost turned up, but she quickly recovered her composure. "Of cause Mr Frost you are welcome to sit in on my assessment. And indeed I can confirm that Comrade Frost is a respected member of the Freedom League," she spoke with the faint traces of an ancient, suggesting and parent or grandparent original came from Central Africa "I will warn you, however, Mr Mamba that I may have to go through information only revealed to the League in the past. If this is going to be a problem please inform us and we can work out some alternatives. Though everything you say will of cause be kept in the strictest confidence."

Freedom League Headquarters, Business Annex 10:00 EDT 7th May 2018 Even something like the Freedom League needed to do the normal drudgery necessary to keep an organisation trundling along, so tucked away in one corner of there building was a series of offices for more mundane paperwork. Surprisingly when Black Mamba had shown up to volunteer for the Auxiliaries he hadn't been met by one of the hero's but a young well dressed African American woman who introduced herself as Elizabeth Ishumi. She'd then led him through a maze of corridors to a small office and offered him a seat whilst she'd started going through his paperwork silently, it getting to that point of embarrassing silence...

The Scarab III This was not Kamala's kind of place at all, her entire worldview was just at odds with what these people were like. Normally she would have avoided such a gathering, there were always business deals to do or work to do on the Scarab armor, but she could see that trouble could easily happen here. In fact, she'd been having strange almost prophetic dreams that suggested to her that something was about to happen. With a little research and shopping around she'd gathered a costume that allowed her, she hoped, to fit in among the others gathered here. Then she waited for trouble to start, or maybe even what they had to say but she doubted that she'd be interested in the pitch.

Miss Grue "Done..." Daphne replied with a smile, easily staying in psychic contact with her AI mother "...she says to make sure you eating a correct infusion of necessary foodstuffs. I think she must really likes you..." For a few seconds, she was quiet as apparently Mother Unit was relaying more care advice that Daphne choose not to relay. "Sorry about that, she worries obviously. Right whoever is doing this seems fascinated with up and coming fashion designers, if it's an invasion it's going to be really well dressed! And despite Mother Units best efforts, I can find out anything about them, so I don't know if they're a threat or not. With the Meta-Mind back in control, I'm afraid that my people might be looking to invade again!" she sounded genuinely concerned about something like this happening.

Well the hole is the obvious point of exit, can we see anything through the hole?

Zhenshchina-voin Klara picked herself up already feeling better, helped by a problem she could now tackle. She stood beside the other and whilst not as tall as Dreadnaught she still towered over most people. "Nice to meet you Mr Cho, I'm afraid we're very aware of the pitfuls of politics." she gave Dimitri a sideways looks, before adding in Russian <"How much of incidence would it cause if we walked into the Embassy? I don't want to cause you any more trouble than normal."> It was lucky that Sonny spoke English as whilst she spoke pretty good Mandarin, and could read all the signs (those not also with English), but all she knew in Cantonese wasn't for polite company.

Zhenshchina-voin Klara wasn't a stranger to death, she'd seen enough over the decades, but thanks to her people knowledge of science and magic they had no dealings with the lands of the dead. It was quickly clear upon entering the dimension that it didn't want her there, or perhaps she didn't belong there. She felt an oppressive weight pushing down on her and a feeling of cold spreading through her limbs, making every step a struggle as she fell a little behind the others. She didn't know what would happen if she got lost in this land of the dead, but it couldn't be good. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity her ears were filled with the sounds of a city as they'd arrive at last. Unable to take another step she collapsed at the side of the building as the warmth returned to her limbs.

Whilst it's always fun to have Klara and Dimitri interact with each other I'd like to use Scarab if that works for you.

Lucy wasn't going to stagnate like her sisters, for an undead she was too alive for that. "Erica's ready to take on more responsibility and I've not taken a day off in almost six years. Maybe a road trip is in order?"

Frostbyte Normally Frostbyte would have kept in constant motion to make her a difficult target, but the limited room here made it almost impossible. So instead she poured all her energy in covering this, fake she though, Alkahest in as thick a layer of ice as she could. "Maybe we should try the whole statue look for you again, though I can only manage an ice sculpture I'm afraid!" She could work out what had happened later for not she wanted to make sure that her friends were safe, then she hoped she'd get the full story.

Miss Grue Floating invisibly above the cafe was the giant egg-shaped craft that was Baby, the craft that had bought Daphne almost five parsecs to Earth. Baby was content to hover with only Mother Unit, nervously, waiting for Daphne to return. Their erstwhile owner arrived in a rather dramatic manner phasing through the roof. She also had a massive grin on her face and was giving a little wave, that spoiled the impressive entrance. "Hello there I'm Miss Grue! Glad to meet you in the flesh!" having grown up among Simulated Intelligences she didn't make any distinctions or judgements.

The Scarab III Whilst Kalama wanted to stop crime she really wasn't going to get anyone killed if she could help it, even by accident. Luckily she had many ways to stop that from happening. "Safia activate feather fall protocol on my mark." Calculating the speed and trajectory rapidly in her mind, and getting Safia to double check just instead, and pointing her sonic projector at the ground she created a film of layered soundwaves to soften his fall. As she did she watched the projections of response time, their police couldn't be too far from arriving she just needed to keep them contained for a few minutes more...

Zhenshchina-voin Having only being allowed to fight with the Peoples Heroes late in the war, where she met Anne and decided on her future, she'd only fought for a few months alongside Dimitri. But that was enough to know that his powers had a dark side, though Klara had never known the full story. "If this is as much a threat as Murk figures we shouldn't dwell too long getting there. There's a, very annoying, teleporter in Vanguard, but that would involve too many questions I figure. So I'm willing to take the risk, if..." she looked over at Dreadnaught "...everyone is prepared to take the risk."

Zhenshchina-voin "Y Dderwen you old poen yn y ass!" dread portents or not she wasn't going to miss a chance to greet an old equitable, giving the old tree man and a massive hug. Whilst she'd never been on the team at the time she'd spent a lot of time around them as part of her Ministry work, and the 60's in London were a crazy time. Hug time over she was again back to business. "I guess this means there are dread portents abound and terrible things are afoot?" there was a touch of humour in her voice but her face was serious, she knew how these things tended to work alas.
