Before becoming the White Lioness she kept herself in reasonable shape, though nowhere near as athletic as her brother. Embracing the chance to study in America she dresses and acts as a typical teenager, even with a passable East Coast accent. Her clothes are the most recent fashion and her hair done in the latest style, though she keeps it relatively short. The famous White Lion(ess) suit she wears looks like white cloth bodysuit but is actually a hi-tech weave laced with energy absorbing Daka crystals. It has gone through several redesigns, the skirt was quickly abandoned, but has always included the traditional gold accompaniments of her title (though not the headdress as she is not yet Queen). When in the costume she uses her more natural Dakanan accent. History: Àjàṣorò the eldest daughter of King M'Balla and his second wife Asma'u was raised to understand the importance of the job that the White Lion clan did to defend the nation of Dakana from threats. As such her childhood was spent training her body and mind to be the best that she could. But she really wasn't interested in such things, her attention was on those brightly coloured superheroes they had in America, though obviously, she was most interested in her fathers and grandfather heroics. It's not that she isn't proud of her country and people, it's just that it all seemed much more interesting. She even began to adopt the fashions and even the general accent of she saw on the television and internet, much to her tutor's chagrin. Then her father decided the time had come to step down as the current White Lion and focus instead on improving his land. Àjàṣorò had never really been interested in taking on the mantle, oh sure she was concerned about the defence of the Kingdom, she was more interested in continuing her studies and maybe one day go to America. But she couldn't in good faith allow the power of the White Lion to go to her brutish half-brother Baako, she couldn't beat him in the ritual combat directly (The tests of Wisdom and Knowledge were much more her thing) but she could maybe win by being smarter. Instead of fighting him she spent the trial avoiding his blows, showing great grace and athleticism, hoping to wear him out until someone could fell him. She had planned for her brother to do the honours and become the next White Lion, but somehow she'd managed to outwit Baako enough to win the trial with barely a strike on the man. Ironically after the ritual that embodied her with the ancestorial powers of the White Lioness, her father told her that he'd contacted an old friend of the family and she'd be getting her wish to go and study in America. Personality & Motivation: Never expecting to be the Queen her tutoring in etiquette wasn't as thorough as her brother, though she can put it on when necessary, and is general irreverent and doesn't seem to take things too seriously. Friendly and gregarious she tries to be everyone's friend, though never pushy, and whilst actual royalty manages to come across as down to earth. As the White Lioness this all goes out the window and she is the noble well breed warrior that she was raised to be. Whilst she respects her father's views and what he has done for Dakana and the world she has, though she hates to admit this, she does agree in part with Makedo's ideas. Dakana might have equality between the sexes but you don't have too far outside its borders to see women repressed and worse, and she might have a few times done her bit to help those women in need. Powers & Tactics: Whilst all of the White Lion clan have some form of combat training, and Àjàṣorò had more than most, she has never been the most tactical of people. Instead she relies on her speed and agility to get herself out of potentially dangerous situations. Power Descriptions: After passing the trials of Wisdom, Knowledge and Combat Àjàṣorò has been empowered by the spirit of her ancestor the original White Lion. This grants her the speed and prowess of the Lion as well as the senses it possesses. In addition to the spiritual powers granted to her, she supplements it with a high tech body suit, the finest in Dakanan engineering, whose Daka crystal weave helps absorb impacts and reduce injuries. Complications: A real Princess: Àjàṣorò is both a princess of Dakana and the White Lioness, that give her certain obligations that she has to fulfil even if she had other things she needs to do. Enemy of the Red Hyena: Whilst mostly the Red Hyena's are willing to work within Dakana's system some, including her half-brother, take more direct and violent action against the White Lioness. A Normal teenager?: Wanting to experience America to it's fullest she's trying not to draw attention to the fact that she's a Princess of Dakana. Emerald Spider "Mr Mars is concerned about a chemical attack, so he has fairly robust filtration chemicals. Which ironically involves some fairly nasty chemicals itself, so it needs regular maintenance to stop it harming his own staff. Familiarity breeds complacency and all that as long as they see one badge they won't look too hard." She added with not a little modesty. "I designed the maintenance cycle for the building, I should be able to find somewhere close enough to where you want to go. Have the floorplan as well if you need them."

"I guess this is something you've been thinking about for a lot longer than the last fifty years, and being a lawyer must help in such matters." She leant forward to emphasise her next point. "That doesn't mean that I don't think that you codex shouldn't be an evolving thing, I'd suggest regular meetings to see what needs tweaking. Different people new ideas and all that, and regular in a way that only the long-lived can manage. It might be your idea but it should be something that is shared by everyone that chooses to sign." She sat back and gave him a smile "In that case, I'd be happy to sign your agreement."

Cathy went to grab something for herself as well, running late included not eating as well, but something occurred to her before she went off. "Do you want some time to get to know your new friend? I can always come and get after you've finished eating." Making new friends at a place could be difficult, especially with the equivalent of the management getting in the way.

It's Tafari which is a terrible name that just means First Born Daughter, I may have done so research about this! Like I said in chat I'm maybe interested in a teenage White Lioness, as long as it doesn't affect you ideas obviously Durf. Looking at the 2e Freedom CIty book Dakana very much mirrors the movie version of Wakana, though it's been about 20 years so it's probably more established in the international community. To be honest the MCU version of Wakanda is not a bad shorthand for how we can make Dakana work.

The Traveller Sitara drunk her water as she listened to her fellow Praetorian, it'd been a while since she'd been near that part of the galaxy even before she joined the Praetorians. "The Lor Republic covers some of the old Empires space, shouldn't be too hard to track down records of any of you kind living there. Things are quiet we could go have a look, but obviously only if you want." She'd spent enough time among non-humans to know they didn't all have the same goals and drive, and she wasn't going to push just to keep herself busy. "Change is good I realise it, I seek it out, but this is different..." she struggled for a good analogy "Have you ever not finished a book of a holoshow because then it means it's finally done?"

As Sitara scanned the horizon to see if she could spot this "second sun" she mused on what power they were wielding. She had been born during a time of gods and magic, though they weren't as demanding as those here, and whilst she knew the song of her people she doubted they'd work this far from home. The mArttik Avata had taught her the sciences and she never bothered to learn about the more arcane arts. Still, she was at her best when improvising so, for now, she kept her position and waiting for the truth to come there way, as long as it wasn't this second sun on its way.

Peri knew the building well, she'd designed the maintenance for the air conditioning there. "I know someone who does maintenance on the building, it's amazing who you meet on rooftops sometimes." She passed Warp some of the noodles as she spoke "Please dig in this will only go cold otherwise. Anyway she can get you passes to get into the building, then you can go poking around. And if things go wrong I can be there quicker than you expect." she didn't like lying like this but it was difficult to trust after what she'd been through.

Klara wished to ask about the tales that this immortal man could tell, she knew there was no glory in war but still there still was wisdom to be gained. But she was sure that for now he wouldn't tell such tales, his focus was on this quest of his. And she couldn't really blame him at all. "What if someone breaks your contract? Would there be ground to exact whatever justice needed?" she paused a moment before feeling further explanation was needed "Immortals can by their nature sometimes be mercurial, even more than mortal we can change our ways sometimes drastically. They I can take you up to one of the service room, and you can go do what you need."

Despite her excitement about meeting with one of her friends Daphne waited until Casey could see who was waiting, even though she already knew that her friend was on her way, but not by much as she threw her arms around her and gave her a massive hug. Few Days Ago Silberman’s Books, West End Blodeuwedd sipped her tea thoughtfully as she considered her options this had been her last source for what she'd been looking for, calling in a favour from an old friend. She knew where the artefact was being held and could have with a little time to plan have recovered it herself. But if the Madoc Manuscript was true then she only had a few days to recover it before the creature returned so she needed to do this as quickly as possible. And to do that she'd need a crew. Picking up her phone she made a few calls and put out a few feelers to see if she could find just the right people for this job.

She'd never been one to bottle up her feelings. "Until recently I didn't even know Earth had survived and it's weird to think I could return. I've been back to worlds that have changed beyond recognition, and whilst I've missed people and places it's not quite the same as the thought of visiting the places where I grew up. Have you ever been home to visit your own kind?"

"If you were just a cook Ms McQueen then you wouldn't be here on this mission. Though if you have time later I'd be honoured if you'd cook some of Earths delicates, been a very long time since I've tried the food from home." Sitara explained on there private channel as they made their way to the available station. Once there she explained to Officer Dressa what she had in mind. "Nanites, wet or dry, can happily make more of themselves once active. But they first need to be assembled and that takes a lot of power and a data feed. If we're very lucky the station's system would have recorded such a thing from an unexpected location." She always enjoyed the legwork, but science and engineering were always a good second option.

So I want to try and do the equivalent to Teleport, just with the whole ship! If needed I'll throw in a HP and I have 25 with Skill Mastery with bot Electronics and Mechanics. I'm hoping rule of cool helps me here

Sitara was an engineer at heart, as well as a warrior, and despite the seriousness of the situation enjoyed the challenge of that had been delivered to them today. "Seresk takes the controls and keep her steady, and deploy your suit and buckle in I'm shunting everything we can to the engines to try and keep up for now... And yes please tell them who we are and what we're trying to do." After making sure her fellow Praetorian was safe she transferred almost all the available power to the engines, though she kept a little aside for a plan she had brewing. "Sit tight Moon-Moth I'm going to try and do micro jump through the shield and to your location." Removing one of the cockpits rear panels she began to rewire the systems to do what she had in mind, microjumps weren't without risks and most ships had inhibitors in place to stop people trying just what she was about to do.
