Equinox: The Tears not only appear to be non-magical in their nature, they are outright interfering with your magical senses, returning a "static noise" the more you concentrate on them. Furthermore, the Psychic Backlash overtaxes your brainwaves, causing you to become Fatigued, but also earning you a Hero Point. Equinox (Unharmed, Fatigued), 5HP

The Robotic Replicator has a great memory capacity, allowing it to save multiple different weapons at a time, and then deploy them at will. This alone grants him a significant amount of versatility, one that does not come, however, without its considerable drawbacks. Weapon Copying is an extremely delicate process, one that requires the Robotic Replicator to completely overwhelm his target, which makes it a very risky action, one best left for willing or unconscious targets. Furthermore, each weapon thus copied requires a considerable amount of energy in order to use/sustain, meaning that the Robotic Replicator has to use them sparringly. Finally, each subject of the Robotic Replicator's Weapon Copying can only offer him one weapon, so the Robotic Replicator has to search different opponents in order to expand his arsenal. Having said that, Weapon Copying is not the only strength the Robotic Replicator possesses. He comes armed with his own Buster Cannon, a simple weapon of great application, capable of both run-and-gun tactics, as well as crowd controlling. He has considerable maneuverability, thanks to his Dash Boots, which allow him to run and jump with significant amounts of freedom, and to his Wall Cling capability, which combined with the Dash Boots allows him to easily scale tall buildings. Swift, mobile, and dodgy, and with a potentially versatile arsenal, this Super Fighting Robot has all the tools it needs to effectively fight crime, and if it doesn't, it soon will! Additional Notes: Instead of a Robot, he could very well be a human. Instead of buying Immunity[Fortitude] and Protection, you could just buy Constitution/Enhanced Constitution, for a net cost of 0PPs. Optionally, his Weapon Copying could change its Limitated flaw from Machines to something else(like demons).Mimicing up to 5 subjects at a time, with a 100PP pool, may feel too much. In this case, consider dropping the Extra Subjects extra one rank(making Weapon Copying cost 1PP per 2 ranks), and lowering its ranks to 10 (for a total cost of 6PPs). This would grant you +16PPs, enough to beef up the Robotic Replicator's Buster Cannon, or otherwise round up his build.Lowering his Reflex and Will a couple of ranks each would not be a bad idea either(+4PPs).

GM Post Neo Harare (of the former Congo Republic), PAU. 4216 AD Neo Harare. Brilliant Capital of the People's African Union, the second most influential power bloc on Earth, and the 4th most influential power bloc among the United Earth and Colonies Federation for the last three centuries. One week ago, it concluded the hosting of the Games of the DLXXXI Olympiad, celebrating humanity's achievements throughout the passage of time. Now, the city, along with its citizens, can only stare in abject horror, as the entire Advanced League of Oceania was being rapidly reduced to ashes. President Alphonse Massamba-Tchicaya conferred with the Azure Champion, the world's strongest human alive. "... and we have no word from the rest of the United Freedom League?" Though he remained composed, the Azure Champion couldn't help but take a sudden, swift breath as he recalled losing contact with them, when they arrived at the ground zero. "I'm... sorry, mr President. I'm affraid that we lost contact with them, same as all other heroes who went up against the new weapon the Reformists are fielding." "And we are sure that it can-" "Mr President." The Azure Champion cut President Tchicaya. "You have seen the destruction this weapon has wrought. The so-called Destreamer is the genuine article." Tchicaya seemed to hesitate. The Azure Champion knew what was in the President's mind. It went against everything they stood for. Against everything humanity had fought for, since time immemorial. "Loathe though I am to suggest it, maybe you should consider their terms..." "And have our people used as pawns for their Xenophobic policies?" Tchicaya burst out. "Our people died in droves to fight off the last organization that saw fit to subjugate the rest of the galaxy! Surrendering to the Revengers would not only be a betrayal of our humanity, it would spit on the graves of our ancestors, our ancestors' ancestors, and so on!" "... And if you don't surrender... there will be no one left to feel ashamed." "..." Slinking back on his chair, the president let out a sigh. "What would you have me do, old friend?" The Azure Champion smiled softly, as he flew outside the open window of the Governmental House. "... I will attempt to attack their headquarters. I will gather any hero who's still active, and make for a last ditch effort." Turning his head towards President Tchicaya, he said. "May the Goddess guide you through." A flurry of flashes, the residual energies from the weapons unleashed, kept the night sky alight, as the Azure Champion hastened away. This battle, that shook the very foundation of the Earth, posed threateningly as merely a precussor to what was about to follow; an unfolding of events that would send ripples throughout the history of mankind... Present Day, Freedom City Monday, June 15th, 2015 Evening, 20:10 It started abruptly, without warning. Tears in the fabric of reality started popping left and right, in a seemingly random pattern. For the last hour, Parkside has been riddled with this randomly occuring phenomena, as everything the tears touched seemingly disappeared into nothingness. Then, the tears would close, only for new ones to pop back. Soon, various news outlets arrived at Parkside, making reports about this peculiar incident, and it rapidly became apparent, from the national news, that this wasn't limited to Freedom City; plenty of cities across the American continent were being bombarded by the Tears, albeit within a limited area. As the Tears persist, the first few heroes arrive at the scene...

Honestly, Net Fly had prepared himself for the outburst. Rarely does trying to talk things out work, in this line of work. Still, Kashima's electrical outburst enveloped Net Fly before he could get out of dodge, and the electrical surge temporarily overwhelmed his motor functions, sending him falling a few tens of feet downward, before wrestling back control of his own body. "Arggg...." Gritting his teeth, Net Fly tried to fight off the pain he felt. "God.... dammit, that hurt! How stubborn can you be?" Taking a good aim at Kashima, the young hero crossed his arms, producing sonic vibrations and feeding them directly into the megaphone carapace he wore on his chest. "Fine, then. Wanna play hardball?" When the megaphone had stored up enough sonic energy, Net Fly uncrossed his arms, allowing for the accumulated sonic energy to violently erupt from his chestpiece in the shape of a beam, hitting the thunder-hurling hero and blasting him away from the other super, with whom Kashima had been interlocked in battle. "Let's hardball!" The great amount of energy he expended took some of Net Fly's wind out of him, and as he let his arms hang, he called to Triakosia and Grimalkin "Yeah, let's beat these two guys to submission and be done with it, before they cause any more damage."

GM Post Calcutta, India 1892 AD "... which is why me and my Associates are very displeased with your policies in the Bengali province, Captain Ayres." The man in the red suit said. "We are invested in the proper development of the area, and quite frankly, your policies, appart from brutal, are in conflict with our interests." The man in the blue suit added. "Your objections are noted, gentlemen, I assure you. However, understand that I have to deal with a rebelion here, one incited by Korean spies who would sooner see India burn than have it prosper under Brittish rule. I've always acted on the behalf of the Company's interests, which I was given to understand were YOUR interests as well." Captain Ayres was very upset, but he held on. The men in the suits were hard to deal with, given that they always seemed to be wearing their expressions like a man wears a suit; fittingly, but it was obvious that the clothing was not an actual part of said man. "And that was why you chose to align yourself with Feng Huan Po?" "..." That had hit a nerve. Captain Ayres had taken the utmost of precautions to ensure that whatever dealings he had with Feng Huan Po remained under wraps. "Surely the governor-general isn't very appreciative of your alliance with a follower and representative of the Old Ways." "Feng Huan is... a necessary concession on our part. He ensures that the Chinese will keep to themselves, while also posing a significant threat to the Koreans from attempting an outright invasion." He tried to explain. The expressions of the two men warped, as they tried to imitate concern. "He is more dangerous than you realise, Captain. Feng Huan Po moves in circuitous ways, ensuring that his actions largely remain concealed from our eyes." "It is imperative for our plans that the people of Calcutta, and India in general, enjoy a secure, safe, and prosperous for them enviroment." "If you fail..." "... we will have to take action against you. Even if that means..." "... that the East India Company meets a premature end." "It is our hope that we have made ourselves clear." "If you think... IF YOU THINK THAT I WILL CAVE UNDER YOUR HOLLOW THRE-" "There is NOTHING hollow about our threats, Captain." "As your superiors no doubt have informed you, the Spanish once tried to dare us into action." "You ARE aware of the Battle of Gravelines, aren't you?" "Heed our words, Captain Ayres. You are walking a very thin line as it is." "Do not cross us." "..." The Captain remained further silent, as the two men took their leave. Their warning was clear as a day. However, the Captain remained undeterred in his resolve to proceed with his plans. "If the East India Company is the sacrifice needed to ensure 'our' future... then so be it." He silently mouthed. He knew that forcing the two men into action was tantamount to challenging god's wrath. So that was why... Present Day, Freedom City Tuesday, June 16th, 2015 Midday, 14:35 The tears closed as soon as they opened, and everything they enveloped vanished completely. Sometimes, other random stuff would emerge from those energy swirls. Not only where they fast, the tears appeared at random places, from the City's center to Parkside, from there to Hannover, then the Great Bay, Lincoln, Riverside, Ashton, and Southside. The tears would continuously open and close in each of these areas for approximately an hour, before moving on to another place. This had been going for the better part of the last day, with reports of similar phenomena accross the country. The superhero community were as stumped as the scientific one, about what was going on, much less its cause. Thankfully enough, though, the tears didn't seem to affect humans, so barring a few indirect injuries caused by the odd falling piano, there was very little cause for panic. The news made sure to keep updates of this peculiar phenomenon, keeping the citizens informed of the tears' current emergence location. Last sighted, they'd appeared in Kingston, while for the last 10 minutes, they seemed to start appearing over at West End.

Right on cue, Communion reinforcements arrived, and seeing the Pegasus navigating further away, he recalled the alternate hands he had conjured, and took flight towards the spaceship. Inside him, the Essense of Time spun wildly, and his body was enveloped by a glittering purple-hued life, causing him to leave an after-image, as the Mechanodynamis sped towards the Pegasus and the others, who were leaving the ship one by one. In the blink of an eye, Hronos arrived close to Argonaut and Cavalier. "The enemy reinforcements are arriving at an accelerating rate. I propose that we further retreat to a tighter space, so that we will be able to repel them effortlessly." He said to them.

Come along, Hale!

That WAS part of the plan. Also, I wanted to capitulate on the fact that Triakosia, Queenie, Grimalkin, and to a lesser extent Miras, are connected, without stacking the teams so that everyone's familiar with everyone on one team, while no one knows anyone on the other team. Of course, that's just the beginning step. The teams may find themselves switching roster between the two, depending on how things progress, so science and magic may mingle more. But for now, I think they make sense thematically.
-
All righty then. Let's start getting things back on track. For starters, my idea is to have one set of heroes looking into the future for a team of villains who plan to weaponise the timeline itself, while the other gets trapped in the past, and in trying to find a way back home, clashes with a powerful warlock who is trying to summon hell on earth. Meanwhile, the Associates and the Futurekin meddle things further with their pressence... Though Mater Vyrdna tried to hold the Antibodies under her control, the Communion's barrage of attacks made it progressively difficult for her to exert her will on them, on top of breaking chunks off her body and causing her intense pain. By the end of it, she'd lost control to all but one drone, but thankfully enough, the combined efforts of the rest of the heroes felled the central consiousness of the Communion, and with it, the other digital drones soon started deactivating, one after another. Breathing a sigh of releaf, Mater Vyrdna muttered to herself "Did we do it? Is it finally...?" before noticing IT. "... get..." At once, her mechanical pupils dilated, and she felt her heart pulsate wildly in her chest, as realisation of what was going to follow dawned. "EVERYONE GET BACK! QUICKLY!"

GM Post While Thalea and Eliza continued talking, various Atlanteans approached the two, having recognized Thalea, in order to pay their respects. This in turn, caught the attention of the regular humans, and many of them seized their chance to meet an Atlantean royalty from up close. The fact that said royalty was Glamazon, who would regularly make rounds in the news due to her wanton approach in heroics, only served to make their curiosity that much stronger. The woman was certainly eyeing the pair for some time now, despite some persisting interference "No, I'm saying this because Terry, a good friend of mine, gave me a book called <Witticisms of Famous People>, and I wanted to hear your opinion on my reading it." She'd have to admit, the guy wasn't taking it personally. Either that, or he's too thick to notice. "As I told you, every bit you read is-" "-May I read you a couple of passages I've memorised?" he cut her off this time. Giving an exasperated sigh, she asked "Is there any way for me to avoid this?" "None that I can think of, no." He cheerily replied. "Anyway, here goes: <Man is not made to work; the evidence of that is that it tires him.>" He waited for her response, but she didn't seem particularly impressed, so he moved on. "Okay, tough crowd. Well, here's another one: <Most people would die sooner than think; in fact, they do so.>" The man laughed as he said that. This one elicited a brief snort, but wasn't otherwise successful, either. "Right, right." "<When someone sees you, they fall in love with you.>" This gave the woman pause. It wasn't just what was being said, but it was also the way it was being said. This one seemed to be full of frank emotion and seriousness; it wasn't faked in, as most attempts at pickup were. And if anyone could tell faking things, it would be her. She turned to face the man this time. "<When they fall in love with you, where can they see you?>" The woman remained silent, as she gazed into the man's eyes. She so did not need this, not right now, with the job on the line. Still... "Well... if you wanna find out, you'll just have to wait and see." And with a smile, she turned around, resuming her work. It was at that point, that she decided to approach Thalea and Eliza. "Quite the exhibit you have here, your royalness." She curtseyed. "When are we expecting your uncle, King Theseus, to arrive?" It was apparent that the woman spoke with a heavy and thick accent, some weird mix of Russian and German.
