  1. Though one of the Antibodies pierced his leg, Hronos wasn't particularly bothered by the attack - or the pain, for that matter. Hiding back the Essense of Time inside his chest, the Mechanodynamis stretched his arms in random directions, and they both vanished each in a purple-coloured ring of chronal energy. Not a moment later, multiple such rings appeared around the Antibodies attacking him, and an arm identical to his own arms emerged from inside every ring. Working in chaotic unison, the arms grabbed, punched, and clawed at the Antibodies at once, with great finesse and precision, and coupled with brutal application of force. This torrent of attacks reduced the Communion drones to nothing more than scrap metal and exploding fuses. Now, there was only one Antibody left from this initial wave. No doubt more would follow, Hronos reasoned, so he did not see much point in staying too far behind the Pegasus.
  2. Hronos Free Action: Spend 1 HP to shake off Fatigue Full Round Action: Hronos will use Interdimensional Arms B against the two Antibodies near him (supposing the third is more than 1'100 ft away) Interdimensional Arms B vs two Antibodies: 1d20+11 31 That's a crit, so +5 on the grapple checks. Grapple Check vs two Antibodies (Crit +5): 1d20+26 35 If successfully grappled, Toughness Save vs DC26 Damaging Move Object Hronos is Distracted.
  3. With the assistance of Sitara, Vyrdnaya finished the diagnostics swiftly and efficiently. The two Praetorians worked expertly together, ensuring that the Devotion was ready to undertake this voyage, when Tamahine perfomred the lift-off, and he and Sitara bantered. "Affirmative, Hūhunu. Let me run the checklist for you to confirm. Cooling systems are fully operational, and engine temperatures are at acceptable levels. Faizon fueltanks are full. Phasmatic shield generators are online. Plasma converters currently at 98.799 % capacity. Quantum torpedoes fully loaded. Artificial gravity generator set at 3.5Gs. Life Support systems check. Communication Systems emitting properly. Hyperdrive engine is active and stable. All indicators are green. You are clear to proceed, Hūhunu." Making such a detailed status report was a luxury unlikely to be available in the heat of combat, so it payed to perform one whenever the chance arose. Still, Vyrdnaya was glad that Traveller and Hūhunu were displaying some good, if spontaneous, rapport. Gods know, she needed the levity, herself. That's why, and though she was a bit more serious in her tone than the two, she did not exhibit any anger or frustration when talking to Hūhunu.
  4. Net Fly Reflex Save vs DC22: 1d20+8 16 Using that HP to reroll the Reflex Save Reflex Save vs DC22, Improve Roll: 1d20+8 27 Toughness save vs DC21 (15+ 12/2): 1d20+7 15 Bruised & Dazed
  5. Net Fly flew towards the two dueling supers. This could get real tricky, real fast. Well, the first step towards intervening is identifying the hostile party. Serge thought, recalling his days at the Claremont Academy. Interposing himself between the two, Net Fly attempted to make contact with them, in the hopes of calming them down, or at least figuring out who to punch. He made sure that he kept his hands raised in a calming manner, to signify that he did not wish for things to escalate. "Excuse the interruption, my fellows. Me and my friends here wish to ensure that your display here causes no harm to the innocent folk living in these parts. Please, stand down. Whatever the cause for your disagreement is, we will attempt to help you resolve it, without any unnecessary damage. If, however, you do not comply, we will intervene with force." It was at this point, that Net Fly realised that he may not be getting through to them, due to the language barrier. He then tried operating the language converter, that he'd made the other day, and had attached to the Vibro-Suit's Net Harness. Okay, let's try this again. He thought to himself, as he proceeded repeating his words, this time in the hope that they were getting properly translated in Japanese.
  6. Net Fly Move Action: Move towards Kashima and Lightning. Standard Action: Hold Action. Free Action: Supposing Serge still has the text-parcer/translator/interpreter on him, he will attempt to reason with the two supers.
  7. No sooner could Mater Vyrdna react to Citizen's warnings than the Communion's digital consciousness arrived. The mangled monstrocity whose touch corrupted everything it touched, loomed threateningly above the heroes, and the digital Antibodies that had surrounded them started lashing out indiscriminately, in an attempt to subdue the heroes, or at the very least, soften them up for the Communion. Mater Vyrdna avoided the attack, as she was calculating her options. This looks bad. We're surrounded. We can't focus fire on the main consciousness while its bots are roaming unhindered... then, a flash of inspiration hit the technomorph, as she realised a fundamental truth about their opposition. These may not be machines... but they are programms still! I should be able to bend them to my will just the same. And with that thought, Mater Vyrdna felt her consciousness reach out towards the antibodies, leaving a green-hued trail of digital signals as she did in this dimension. "Leave the Antibodies to me. Everyone! Focus on the main consciousness!" She could feel herself connecting with all but one of the drones, which managed to resist her overriding program protocols. Hers was a simple order, but one that they had to obey nonetheless. 5374616E6420646f776E21 Stand down!
  8. Mater Vyrdna Will Save vs DC32: 1d20+10 12 Yeah, no Will Save vs DC32, Improve Roll: 1d20+10 27 Much Better. 1 Injury + Dazed. -1 HP.
  9. "Understood, Imperiatrix." Vyrdnaya nodded emphatically. "Forgive me if I spoke out of line." The reasoning the Lor official gave was certainly sound, though it still bothered Vyrdnaya. Nevertheless, she had her orders, and that was that. "If you'll excuse me." Leaving as she came, Vyrdnaya's body seamlessly melded with the mechanical floor, before completely vanishing. Rematerialising outside the room, she flew towards the Devotion, without waiting for Sitara to follow. The Devotion. The ship which once housed her, after a fashion, for nearly two thousand years. Though frozen in stasis during that period, when the ship came back online, and she regained consiousness after the long sleep, Vyrdnaya had found herself trapped inside the ship's machinery, a digital existance perceiving time in the speed of electrons being transferred through the cablework. What had been a couple of months for the rest, for her was an agonizing hell of hundreds of years, a hell that saw her reliving her memories, the peaceful ones allong with the painful ones. Now, though, that she had regained a body, and a consciousness aligned with the passage of time for most living beings, she'd find that she shared a... peculiar connection with the ship. In fact, staying at the Devotion, she felt the most at home. And throught these last few months, she'd come to know the spaceship better than ever, inside-out. She immediately melded with the Devotion, traversing the spaceship until she reached the control panels in the engine room, and started running diagnostics.
  10. Vyrdnaya simply shook her head. "Fine, then. We will go and capture those monstrous criminals." She responded with some irritation in her voice. "Whom, I need to point out, only managed to escape because your precious Lor found it prudent to spare the manpower and resources and evacuate them from their rightful prisons." Folding her arms, she continued. "Nevertheless, we WILL indeed need to review every single piece of information, the better to be prepared against them. Paradigm speaks the truth; these criminals are wont to use each and every advantage they can get, should they come face to face with us. No reason why we shouldn't return the favor." And truth be told, Vyrdnaya did not feel comfortable, going in blind. Sure, the Lor did inform the Praetorians who they'd be dealing with, but for a Rookie like her, extensive preperation could very well mean the difference between life and death. At least, that's how she felt.
  11. Hronos Concentration Check for Defensive Roll vs DC20: 1d20+4 14 That fails. Toughness save vs DC23, x2: 2#1d20+11 31 22 That will be 1 injury for Hronos.
  12. Gonna leave Friday for my Grandma's for the weekend. No Internet connection there, so I won't be logging in before Monday.
  13. Rav > Huh... not bad. Not bad at all! Ah, now I see! That should definitely count as a solid, if indirect, connection.
  14. Grim and Triakosia > D'oh! I should have known better on this one. Can you expand on Grim and Miras through Starlight? They've each worked on their own with Starlight on seperate occasions?
  15. Vyrdnaya studied carefully each one of the criminals, as they were brought to view and described by the Lor Official. This was a lot of information to diggest, and more still to fully process. Each one of them on their own is certainly a cause for concern, and all of them working together... That was, of course, supposing that the criminals did all make it out alive. Which was certainly not beyond the realm of possibility. "Commander E'tten, if you'll allow me the inquiry. What were the crimes these escaped criminals had been convicted? Learning what they are and what they can do is important, and I mean no disrespect, but... learning who it would be we'll be dealing with is of equal importance, I think." Which was true enough; one would use a different attitude and mindset to approach a robber, than to approach a murderer. And there was also the possibility that some of those escaped may in fact be insane...
  16. Mater Vyrdna Full Round Action: Mind Control + Mind Reading, 100ft radius area. Opposed Check vs Will. Machine Control vs Will Save: 1d20+10 22 Free Action: Mater Vyrdna will instruct the Antibodies to stand down. -Mater Vyrdna is Distracted. -Mater Vyrdna may suffer from Feedback.

  20. Hmm... You've got a synopsis for the Temporal War, Arich? I'd appreciate if you posted it here, or in a PM!
  21. "You have performed admirably in delivering us inside the ruptured Word Killer, Geckoman." Hronos congratulated the pilot, upon hearing the alarms of the Pegasus. "Now we must create a path throughout the approaching hostile entities that will lead us to the vulnerable and operation critical areas of the World Killer." Taking flight, the azure-chrome sentinel of time headed towards the exit of the spaceship, in order to take point. "Considering that statement, I will be the first one to engage the enemies, in order to, as your Earthling saying goes, put a stop on their tracks!" If Hronos had the capacity of making grimaces with his head, he would no doubt be grinning right now. After many years of spending his time around terrans, their linguistic intricasies appeared to be finally breaching the language barrier with him. Getting himself in a good position, Hronos assessed his surroundings, and then opened up his chest, revealing the Essense of Time. This wondrous sentient spark of chronal energy, which served as the nexus for the flow of time itself, radiated in the familiar purple-hued colors, as it started pulsating faster and faster. Finally, a large purple-colored ball of chronal energy exploded outwards of Hronos' chest, covering a wide area around him. Almost half of the Antibodies that had been summoned to intercept the heroes were caught unawares, their functionability slowing to a crawl until suddenly stopping.
  22. Hronos Move Action: Flying outside the ship to intercept this batch of Antibodies, then Surging. Full-Round Action[Surge]: Time Stopper, 1'100ft Radius Burst, Distracting. DC21 Stun vs Reflex Save (Reflex Save for half effect) Hronos is Distracted.
  23. Updated the first post, as we've hit the 6 PCs mark (Supposing Rob decides to dust off Bloodline).
