"... All in all, me and my associates are feeling very confident about your proposal, mr Lineburg." the Japanese businessman who represented Kogane no Daiyamondo, one of Japan's foremost jewel manufacturers, explained to Gregory, as they discussed the possibility of Gregory's jewlery firm importing KnD's products as their main representative in Freedom City. For George, this deal would prove salvatory, providing him with a much needed boost to his shops' selections, and thus would help him turn some profit for a change. The past few months had turned out to be quite brutal to him, from an economic standpoint, as Gregory witnessed his business turning less and less of an income, as the recession endured. "I think it safe to say that we are looking at a prosperful future for both our companies." "I certainly hope so, mr Takanori." The stadium might have been teeming with loud fans cheering for their team, but even so, Gregory and Takanori Mamoru were able to conduct their business with no problem, while also enjoying the spectacle in front of them. Serge, who had flown to Japan alongside his stepfather Gregory in order to help him with the deal, had tagged along, mostly out of boredom. He wasn't particularly a fan of baseball, him prefering basketball more, but the hotel he and his stepfather were staying at offered little in the way of entertainment, outside of a television and wifi, and the young man felt he'd rather take the chance and see the outside instead. "Still, I have to say, most businessmen of your caliber would prefer to conduct their deals in the VIP room. I'm surprised you chose seats so close to the field." "Hahahaha! Perhaps they do, but that's their loss, mr Lineburg." Takanori laughed jovially. "There's no real point in watching a baseball match unless you stand a good chance of catching a homerun yourself." "Well, can't say I can fault your logic on that one." Gregory acquiesced. The talks between the two continued, while Serge idly stared at the game. Heh, Gregory and mr Takanori seem to hit it off well enough. I hope it pays off for him. Between work and helping cover for me to my mom, Greg has been keeping way too busy. Honestly, you should be more worried about yourself, dum-dum. Oh great. And here I thought, all this time, that I'd gotten rid of you. What made you come out of the woodwork? Oh, I dunno, maybe the fact that you have 3 papers for June, and you have done no work in either at all? It's not like I won't get to it. I've just been a bit busy with crimefighting. Like you eventually got to 1 out of 3 papers last term? ... Yeah, I thought so. Shut up. The last thing I need is a snarky inner voice. Seriously, why do you even exist? Maybe you should ask yourself that question next time you decide to spend whole weeks tinkering with your oh-so-special suit, with minimum contact with other human beings. ... You do realise that, technically speaking, I AM asking mys- Yeah, yeah, I know... smartass. Heh. Serge chuckled. It wasn't often that he pulled one over his inner snarker.

Player Name: Vahnyu Character Name: Volt Scorpion Power Level: 10 (154/154PP) Trade-Offs: None Unspent Power Points: 0 Progress To Bronze Status: 0/30 In Brief: Former street punk Martial Artist with a shocking punch. Alternate Identity: Kang Jin-Ho Identity: Secret Birthplace: Seoul Occupation: None Affiliations: Dr Sin, Lady Shen Family: Unknown Description: Age: 20 (DoB: 1995 [12, October]) Apparent Age: (24 years old) Gender: Male Ethnicity: Asian (Korean). Height: 6' 2" Weight: 183 pounds Eyes: Brown Hair: Dark Red (Bleached. Natural: Black) Lean and well-muscled, Kang Jin-Ho has unrully medium-short bleached red hair and brown eyes. He usually sports a self-sure grin. His casual attire consists of blue jeans, brown hiking boots, black shirt, white leather jacket, and black finger-less gloves. His costume is mostly grey, composed of a spandex-like material, covers most of his body, except the face and hair, and it has extra pockets strapped at his thighs. He wears red boots with black stripes, a red sash around his waist, a black jacket with red shoulderpads, and red heavy gloves covering his hands up to his elbows. Power Descriptions: Kang Jin-Ho is a skilled martial artist, specialising in aggressive takedowns and combat, while foregoing defense. A combination of Judo, Tae Kwon Do, Boxing, Kickboxing, Shotokan, and Wing Chun, his Total Style Martial Arts allows him to strike with power, precision, and flexibility. Furthermore, Volt Scorpion is able to augment his normal strikes with bio-electricity, running through his nervous system and muscles. Not only do his strikes become more powerful and more fast, but a well-placed strike can also cause the nervous system of his foes to collapse, and it is especially devastating against electronic equipment. Aside from his strikes, Volt Scorpion can also enhance his mobility by pumping his leg muscles full of bio-electricity, which grants him superhuman speed and jumping power. History: Kang Jin-Ho cared for only one thing; proving that he is the strongest. To that end, he pursued and mastered various martial arts, and got to fights wherever he found them, whether they were random street fights or illegal underground tournaments. By the time he was 16, Jin-Ho was already becoming notorious among Seoul's gangs. It was at that time that he got involved in an accident. While beating up a bunch of delinquents, a van hit him in an abandoned street, rendering him unconscious. The driver, at the behest of his employer, a scientist by the name of Myung Do-He, took Jin-Ho inside the van, and taking him to the scientist's lab. Through this unfortunate event, Do-He saw a great opportunity to test her teleportation device on a living subject. The experiment proceeded, but it was less than successful, due to a malfunction that caused the equipment to explode, and the entire building to catch fire. Do-He and her employee left the scene with haste, leaving the still unconscious Kang Jin-Ho to his fate. By the time he woke up, the entire building was engulfed with flames, and the only way out was through a window. The problem was that the window was situated too high for him, and there was nothing nearby that he could use as a makeshift ladder. Finally, desperation drove him to start jumping randomly, and it was at this point that he realised that he could jump at incredible distances, way beyond those of a normal human. Jin-Ho had managed to save his own life, and soon, came to realise the extent of his newfound powers, which he took great advantage of, establishing himself as Seoul's #1 undefeated martial artist. It was this that attracted Lady Shen's attention, as she was scouting through Asia for disciples. Not particularly caring about her motivations, Jin-Ho nevertheless saw a great opportunity to further refine his martial prowess, accepting her invitation. Personality & Motivation: Brass and self-sure, Kang Jin-Ho has a fiery temperament to match his bleached hair. He usually doesn't bother being mean towards those he deems inferior to him, and may even treat them with something akin to kindness. However, he does not hesitate to reveal his fangs to those who could provide him with a decent fight. The only thing he cares about is getting stronger. Money and fame don't even begin to enter the picture for him. After the events with Lady Shen's capture of Tsunami and her friends, Kang Jin-Ho fought Net Fly in a sparring match, and though he initially defeated the young mutant, Net Fly turned the tables around when he was making his escape, forcing Jin-Ho to retreat in order to avoid capture. As such, Jin-Ho holds something of a grudging respect for the hero, and wishes to have a definite rematch with Net Fly. Powers & Tactics: Rather straigth-forward in his tactics, Volt Scorpion runs headlong into his opponent, tackling them and pummeling them to submission. When the foe exhibits a bit more fight in them than that, he abandons recklessness for calculativeness, assessing the situation and responding in accord. Thanks to his powers, he is also able of engaging his opponents in hit-and-run tactics, and he can mow down a group with brutal efficiency. Mater Vyrdna Toughness Saves vs DC28 and DC27 respectively (1d20+12=22, 1d20+12=17) Welp, looks like I'll be using 1 HP to reroll the second roll. Toughness Saves vs DC27, Improve Roll (1d20+11=20, 1d20+11=25) Ignore the second roll, I forgot to change the number of rolls from 2 to 1. At any rate, 11+9(+10)=30 so Vyrdna saves against the second attack, leaving her with 1 Injury and Dazed from the first.

Vyrdnaya took a deep breath. She didn't require it, but she still felt she needed it, if only to clear her mind of all distractions, for what she was about to do. "Right." She felt herself letting go, as she was being swallowed by the ship, to where she was standing. First her legs, then her torso and arms, and finally her head, all submerged into the bridge's floor and vanished. Her consciousness ran at blinding speeds through the vessel, until she found her exit point, whereupon the ship itself shifted and expanded, creating a mechanical shape that slowly took the form of an Akarnian woman. The shape reconfigured itself into Vyrdnaya, who opened her eyes to find herself looking from the outside of the vessel. Metallic wings sprang from her back, and covered her front, morphing themselves into shields. Behind them, Vyrdnaya kept her two arms crossed in front of her, one of them twisting and turning around itself until it morphed into a drill - the perfect balance between electronics, steel, and organic matter - while the other was covered by thick metal, its insides surplanted by power cables and energy generators, until it transformed into a dragonic-looking head that housed a blaster inside its mouth. A determined look behind her glasses completed the set, as Vyrdnaya was ready to wage battle for the fate of the world.

"Grraahgghhkk!!" Hronos screamed, as his pain receptors savagely assaulted his neuro-cortex. Hronos felt the Compu-Jackals shred his body, limb for limb, and even found his robotic head severed from the rest of his body. To make matters worse, the Essense of Time seemed to be spiralling out of control, as if lashing out to reality and the events that had transpired. The severed head fell to the mechanized ground, where the Computronium had been, near Citizen's feet, before rebounding a few times, and eventually rolling towards Terrifica. "... My head... has been seperated... from... my body..." he noted, with some difficulty, as he felt his energy drainning, and the systems in his head preparing to go into shutdown mode. With considerable effort, he forced his head to turn towards the sky, where the rest of his body still floated. Seeing the Essense of Time fluctuate uncontrollably gave Hronos cause for concern. "This... occurance... may prove... catastrophic..."

Considering that Earth is the place where alien conquerors who are bored of living and winning come to die? I'd say they'd be ever so quick to chum it up with us.
-
I... honestly thought AEGIS already had a helicarrier rip-off to its name... well, live and learn, I guess. I have to say, though, if the purpose is protecting Earth from space invaders(but not necessarily the trademarked ones), a fleet of spaceships/spacebases would make much more sense than airbases/hellicarriers. Something more akin to SWORD. In fact, with so much communion tech being destroyed left and right on Earth itself, it wouldn't be far fetched to say that those ECHO guys are reverse-engineering that thing to kingdom come and back.

Sei, Sharl, and Eliza. All of them had their own share of baggage, all of them had suffered and struggled. They all had their hopes and dreams, their fears and anxieties. Myothizar as well, the Moonborn Mage shared just as much of Vyrdnaya's anguish over losing her people in the passing of time. He'd been fighting the Communion ever since he'd come out of suspended animation. They were all here, and ready to take up arms once more, not just forthemselves, for their friends and loved ones, but for the entire galaxy as well. And as for her... "There's no turning back. At this point, it's do or die, or get assimilated into the Communion." She replied to Temperance's question, and then turned towards Moon-Moth. "...Once more. I swear I won't hold you back." Two thousand years ago, she'd applied to become a Praetorian. Unfortunately, she'd come up short, and had to settle for a regular military position. This time, however, she'd prove that she was worthy of walking alongside the most exalted protectors of their once glorious Empire, that she was worthy of them calling her a comrade equal in arms. "For the Empire."

"And well met, Sun Walker. It has been a pleasure working alongside you as well." Meatheral returned the greeting from the inheritor of Sun Wukong's powers. Set's bombastic greeting came as somewhat of a surprise, as he had been focusing on the two other heroes there, Sun Walker and Miras. However, his question proved important, as Jerry knew that he couldn't possibly make the journey back on his own, powers or no powers. "Well, a portal would be mightily convenient, true. In fact, if y-" but before he could finish, he was interrupted by the valkyrie, who seemed to have a major beef to pick with the Egyptian deity. "-Yyyyikes! Talk about irritation..." And then, the bomb dropped, or rather, Jerry became aware of the bomb that had already been dropped. Father and daughter. That was the relationship between the Valkyrie and Arrowhawk. The bowman himself looked somewhat emotionally charged by all this. "Ohhh..."

Hronos Power Level: 11/12 (168/177PP) Trade-Offs: -4 Melee Attack / +4 Melee Damage, -2 Defense / +2 Toughness Unspent Power Points: 8 In Brief: An ancient mechanical being, Hronos has an array of inbuilt, interchangeable armaments that grant him control over time/space. Old Sheet found >here. Alternate Identity: None Identity: Public Birthplace: UNKNOWN Occupation: Wielder of Time Affiliations: Mechanodynames Family: Mechanodynames(Sister: Psihi. Sister: Gnossi. Sister: Zoi. Brother: Thanatos.) Description: Age: UKNOWN, estimated to billions of years (DoB: UKNOWN) Apparent Age: Not Applicable Gender: Male Ethnicity: Mechanodynames Height: 7'5" ft Weight: 230 pounds. Eyes: Light-Purple Hair: Not Applicable Description: Hronos is a Mechanodynamis. He has a human-like structure. His body is composed of techno-mechanical parts. His skin is a Light-Purple, with visible circuits. His hands look like Navy-Blue mechanical armor gauntlets. His upper body looks like a Navy-Blue robotic breastplate covering a white body armor. He appears to wear a Navy-Blue mechanical belt on his waist. The mouth in his Navy Blue helmet-like head is completely covered by a White mouthpiece, he sports White earpeaces and a Light-Purple visor for eyes. His legs look like Light-Blue and White armored boots from the knees down. Finally, his back holds a Blue rocket-pack. Power Descriptions: As a Mechanodynamis, Hronos has a sturdy mechanical body resistant to damage and adverse natural conditions. He is able to quickly process and employ all languages from intelligent living beings, as well as computers. His body is able to accomodate accelerated modes of self-transportation, including flight, thanks to the rocket-pack that protrudes on his back, and his thought processor is normally capable of carrying difficult calculations and executing rapid actions at 5 times the normal pace. He is also the assigned Wielder of the Essence of Time. His techno-mechanical body is capable of processing this internalized essence, and reconfigure his body parts at will, granding him with a versatile arsenal of armaments, and granting him control over time itself. Some of them follow. However, spending the last few millenia in a lethargic sleep, a lot of his capabilities, are malfunctioning, and thus, set offline, until he can recover them. His computational capacity appears to be hampered by fragmentation. Hronos' insulators have severyly degraded, making electricity and magnetism severely affect his techno-mechanical body, and due to being incactive for many milenia, his mental defences are slightly unregulated, afecting his ability to withstand mental attacks. History: Spirit. Life. Time. Death. Knowledge. These are the five key Essences that have been encompassing the world, ever since the beginning of time. When the world was created, there were also created five beings of robotical nature. These beings came to be known as Mechanodynames, and they were each tasked with safeguarding an Essence. Psihi, the Holder of Spirit. Zoi, the Holder of Life. Hronos, the Holder of Time. Thanatos, the Holder of Death. And Gnosi, the Holder of Knowledge. The Essences granted each one of them a unique and diverse assortment of powerful abilities, which further augmented their natural capabilities. Using those powers, the Five Wielders were able to protect the galaxy from various threats, both from within and from without the creation. One of the most powerful of them was Catastrophe, the Bringer of Annihilation, who invaded the world and waged a terrible war with the Mechanodynames. During the war, the Five Wielders, assisted by the first civilizations, managed to stave off Catastrophe's forces, and in a final climactic battle, they repelled Catastrophe into the Entropy Zone. Doing so, however, required a huge energy release, that damaged and scattered the Mechanodynames towards the five corners of the universe. The blast had rendered Hronos offline, as he drifted through space, until he finally arrived at the solar system, during the accretion of the planet that was to become known as Earth. The next 4 billion years, Hronos remained close to the core of the planet, and his slumber seemed that it would last for eternity. That eventually changed, though, when the various disturbances caused from the constant battles between superpowered beings that were waged on Earth, shook Hronos' systems to turn back on. After crawling his way out of the ground and into the surface, Hronos came face to face with the civilization that had started to thrive in this planet. He soon realised that many of his systems were malfunctioning, and that he couldn't escape the gravity of Earth. Deciding that he must have arrived there for a reason, Hronos set forth to travel and protect the Earth and it's inhabitants from all threats, his journey eventually leading him to Freedom City. In the intervening time, Hronos became aqcuaintanced with the super heroine Velocity of the Freedom League, and he became involved with a powerful Time-controlling entity known as Collapse, Velocity's son Lawrence from an alternate timeline, who after gainning immense powers of an interdimensional nature, embarked on a mission accross the timestream to ensure that all of his alternate selves will become Collapse as well, each instance serving to increase his powers. The two heroes joined powers to stop the mad Collapse from influencing his past self, by seeking refuge in Null Zone, a dimension where time does not exist. Though its climate was extremely hostile to Hronos, as he was the Wielder of Time, the Mechanodynamis braved the pain of Null Space's rejecting nature, in order to help Velocity fight off Collapse's manifested avatar. After successfully fending him off, Hronos remained for 6 years in the Null Zone along with Velocity, her partner Robert, and their son Lawrence, in order to help them raise their son safely and in an enviroment where no outside distractions would impede them. When Hronos returned from the Null-Zone, virtually no time had passed in the real world. After 2 years of (real time) activity, a lot of his essential functions have been steadily recovered, and he is now able to fully traverse the cosmos, without being bound to Earth. However, as the little blue planet showed him hospitality in his time of need, Hronos has grown fond of it, and the planet's high propensity for getting into trouble ensures that he will always keep an eye out for it. Personality & Motivation: Hronos is a very calm, and at times, deliberate individual. He speaks in a very polite and formal manner, when conversing with others. His sense of duty has been instilled in him ever since his creation, and drives him to protect those in need from danger. Powers & Tactics: Hronos values subdoing his opponents as efficiently as possible. That is why he prefers opening up a battle by employing the Deccelerator Blaster if faced with one foe, or the Time Stopper if faced with multiple foes, and then pick them appart with long ranged artillery. When the fight becomes close and personal, he switches gears into employing the Support Motor, which greatly enhances his combat capabilities, and uses his nigh-unescapable grip to render his enemies helpless. Finally, when a foe proves especially stubborn, he attacks them with a vicious barrage of unarmed blows, taking advantage of the fact that his Interdimensional Arms can come from all angles, ignoring tempo-spatial restrictions, and taking opponents by surprise. Complications: Caretaker: Prototype Stopwatch Fragment(A peculiar gem-like item that has time manipulation abilities that Hronos procured from an encounter with John Smith) Duty: Is bound to protect the integrity of the time/space continuum, as Holder of the Essence of Time. Enemy: Catastrophe Godparent: Hronos is the Godfather of Velocity's son, Lawrence. Rival: John Smith(Hronos prevented the man from changing the past and being together with his wife. He may hold a grudge) Out of Touch: Has been inactive for years, and has little to no grasp of current events Sub-Optimal: A lot of his capabilities are malfunctioning and are offline Whims of Time: Hronos is as much the Master of Time as he is its Servant. Time oftenly has plans of its own, and isn't necessarily forthcoming with its chosen guardian Abilities: (-2) + 8 + (-10) + 8 + 8 + (-4) = 8PP Strength: 8/20/40 (-1/+5/+15) Dexterity: 18 (+4) Constitution: --- Intelligence: 18 (+4) Wisdom: 18 (+4) Charisma: 6 (-2) Combat: 10 + 8 = 18PP Initiative: +8 Attack: +5 Melee, +5 Ranged, +11 Chronal Blaster/Deccelerator Blaster A/Inter-Dimensional Arms B, +7 Inter-Dimensional Arms A/Support Motor Grapple: +4/+12/+29 Support Motor, +22 Dimensional Arms B Defense: +9 (+4/+8 Base, +5/+1 Dodge Focus), +2/+4 Flat-Footed Knockback: -8/-10 Saving Throws: 0 + 2 + 2 = 4PP Toughness: +13 (+0 Con, +8/+0 Protection, +2/+10 Defensive Roll, +3 Density, +8/+3 Impervious) Fortitude: --- Reflex: +6 (+4 Dex, +2) Will: +6 (+4 Wis, +2) Skills: 40R = 10PP Computers 6 (+10)Skill Mastery Disable Device 6 (+10)Skill Mastery Knowledge (Physical Sciences) 6 (+10) Knowledge (Technology) 6 (+10) Notice 10 (+14)Skill Mastery Sense Motive 6 (+10)Skill Mastery Feats: 9PP Defensive Roll Dodge Focus Eidetic Memory Fearless Improved Grab Improved Initiative 1 Improved Pin Move-By Action Skill Mastery 1 (Computers, Disable Device, Notice, Sense Motive) Powers: 45 + 81 = 126PP Container 9 (45PP Container) [45PP] (Essense of Time) Chrono-Dimensional Configuration 16 (32PP Array; After considering it a bit, Hronos nodded in agreement to Sun Walker. "You should not apologize for your suggestions, Sun Walker. Your thoughts have merit, and I believe you are correct to allow me and Cavalier Kyle Stewart to primarily focus on providing ranged support for you, Geckoman, and Argonaut. If the mission requires that we enter the World Killer undetected, I may have a solution to that problem. By channeling the chronal energies of the Essense of Time, I could project a field that would cause us to perform a Temporal Phase Shift. By existing outside the normal phase of the universe, we should be able to maneuver outside the perception range of most sensors. However, I have to warn you that I have not used the reconfigurations necessary to perform this action in a long time. I fear that many of the necessary circuits for this action still remain unrepaired, and although I could circumvent them, I cannot guarantee a success."

Vyrdnaya felt immense pain at her heart, as Citizen asked them to lay their burdens bare. She hated that she felt at ease by the fact that she could still feel pain. Nevertheless... "I... I am Vyrdnaya Solnys-Kori Milareth, daughter of Solnys who is husband of Somna Aethalom-Kori Milareth. Two thousand years ago... I had a family. I had a daughter, Triinareti Jihisk-Kori Milareth, and two sons, Solmav Jihiskh-Kuros Milareth and Tormug Jihiskh-Kuros Milareth. I had a job, serving as Lieutenant Commander engineer for the Delaztri Empire. I had a body that was completely organic and normal... and also... I had a husband." Taking a deep breath, she forced herself to continue. "Jihiskh Mavon-Kuros Milareth. He was... a sweet man, who always tried his best for my son and our children, even though we were forced to marry. Now, all I have are memories..." And guilt, she thought. Guilt that she never got to see how her relationship with Jihiskh would evolve, if there was something more than mutual respect, understanding, and affection between the two.

"Honestly? Your guess is as good as mine, no, better in fact." Meatheral replied. "In fact... it could be either, as far as I know. And it's not like the book's been... forthcomming with me. At least, not that I think so." Taking her hand, he returned a firm handshake. "Tell me about it. The name's Meatheral. Not much of a name, I suppose, but I wasn't having any better inspiration with that part." Smilling, the hero replied, properly introducing himself. "As for the shapes, well... I can't say I remember them, per se, but perhaps... considering that I am able of recalling spell incantations without having memorised them... I may be able to let my subconscious guide me? Or the book? Ummm... Oh, well, it's certainly worth a shot. I'm not gonna learn any more if I don't at least try to, so... I'll be in your care." ... Or at least... that's what Meatheral was saying. Because, ubeknownst to him, a magical energy, invisible to the naked eye, resonated withing him, and as soon as they touched hands, Miras could see it clear as a day. The magic that coursed through Meatheral's body was strong. Ancient. And it certainly appeared... sentient.

Net Fly let go of the remote controller on his right hand, and clutched his head with it. He was still feeling a bit dizzy, the shock of being tossed around like a ragdoll still verberating around his body. Still he was at least glad that he got some time to properly get his bearrings. "Yeah, that was a creepy laughter, alright... Well, more importantly... is everyone alright?" He asked, concerned. Fast-Forward was requesting that they put up more protective barriers and measures for the meditating heroes. One of them was his wife, no? Makes sense that he'd be extra worried. he thought. "Hmmm... more defenses... I dunno, Grimalkin, I suppose we could add a force-field or two? I haven't really worked with those though... hmm... wait, maybe I could modify my suit to project a sound barrier at a radius? But that would take me out of the fight, or at least, I'd have to rely exclusively on the turrets. If they're still working after firing so many rounds, that is. They weren't exactly stress-tested..."

"Yeah..." Meatheral agreed with Miras, as he wathced the ensuing drama unfold. "Yeah, you're probably right, Miras." It was becoming quickly evident to Jerry that superheroes led complicated lives... a few orders of magnitude more so than normal people do. "Periodic Elements?" this gave Jerry some pause. "Heh, I haven't had to think about those since I gratuated from highschool..." he commented, before realising what he just did, and mentally kicking himself for that slip of the tongue. "Ahh, ahem, anyways, right. About Elements... huh... you know, I haven't really thought about that. Truth be told... this magic of mine?... well it ain't. Mine, that is. It's... kinda... complicated." He awkwardly said, trying to find the correct way to explain it to Miras, before settling in an answer. "My magic comes from this... weird book, right? That I found one day. In an old library. It had all sorts of spells... I... think? I wouldn't swear on it to be true, since all of it was written in what seemed to be Latin? Some Greek? There were even egyptian hieroglyphics and stuff in there, too, and I could have sworn I glanced upon some Babylonian text... or not? Anyways, the point is, the book'd might as well be full of giberrish. Then a fire broke out. Before I realised it, the book had spontaneously turned to dust and stuff, and then, whamo, it had entered me... I think... emmm... next thing I know, I am speaking words in languages I'm not fluent, seeing flashes and pictures full of diagrams and holy symbols and runes and stuff in my mind's eye, my body turns to water, and, well... here I am." He finished lamely. He could not have made this explanation any worse than that, even if he'd tried. "Bottom line is, so far, I'm only able to transform into one of the four Classical Elements... Well, I don't have much of a say on the matter, really."
