  1. I don't even have to roll that. If the Imp had boots, it would be shaking in them as we speak
  2. The Dinosaur didn't seem phased from the attack Hronos delivered to it, and the manifestation of Collapse was closing in on him rapidly. Hronos attempted some evasive maneouvers as he tried to shake the entity off, and headed towards the ground. If he had teeth, Hronos would no doubt be gritting them right now, seeing as he was fervently trying to keep the Stopwatch away from its would be owner. There must be a reasonable course of action for me to take, in order to prevent Collapse from aqcuiring the Stopwatch... Hronos thought to himself, but try as he might, he could not come up with a satisfactory answer, even with all the time in the world. Then... this means that I must seek an answer in more unreasonable means... Pushing his thinking process to its limits, Hronos, frantically searched and searched for a solution, until one revealed its ugly face to him, in the form of a violent spark errupting from within his chest. The sudden realisation led Hronos to reconfigure his chest in order to open it up, similar to how it did in order for Hronos to unleash the powers of the Essence of Time in a great expanse. This time, however, Hronos wasn't aiming on firing anything, but instead, he took the Stopwatch, and placed inside his chest, right next to the Essense of Time. Needless to say, the reaction from the Essense and the device was a violent one, sparks of chronal energy flying around wildly out of control, and Hronos convulsing in pain, as a surge of energy ran through every inch of his body like an electric volt. "GrRrrrRAAAAaaaAAAAGGGGghhhh!!!" How he managed to seal the compartment in his chest through all the pain was nothing sort of a miracle.
  3. Move Action: fly towards Velocity, putting Hronos in the middle between her and the dinosaur, presumably, 500 ft away from both. Free Action: Power Stunt Feature (Internal Compartment) off of Feature (Temporal Inertia) Move Action: Secure the Stopwatch inside the compartment. Get Paralyzed.
  4. Will Save: 1d20+5 → [9,5] = (14)
  5. GM Post The sharpnel flew with force, cutting everything in their way, from the streets to the buildings, in a greatly expansive area, catching 7 of the 10 demons in its unrelenting torrent. Only an ogre-like demon and an imp demon managed to avoid the onslaught of violently twisting sharp metal. Not letting their chance escape, Carmen's escorts opened fire, concetrating their efforts on the elusive imp, who seemed to be gaining on them with speed. Pedro's shot came dangerously close to wounding the creature, but it was William who struck true, killing the annoying flier, who burst into a blue coloured flame. "That's one for me." This still meant that the ogre was unharmed, and he came charging towards Carmen, with all the grace of a dancing elephant, but making sure that he'd avoid the residual shrapnel by engaging her from her right side. At the same time, an imp came in flying from high above Carmen, while a canine approached her from her left, with a ferocious and sudden lunge. The last remaining ogre in the immediate area closed in at about 50 ft away from Carmen.
  6. It didn't take much effort for Hronos to spot the giant rampaging Dinosaur gunning for him, even throught the thickness of the trees. The problem was that his hands were preoccupied by having to hold the Stopwatch, which made things slightly awkward. I doubt that I can exert enough brute force to take care of this creature as well. He thought, as he worked in zig-zag patterns through the trees. I will have to rely on using a rapid succession of blows aimed at the vulnerable spots of the T-Rex. That course of action should definitely ensure that I will draw the attention of the Dinosaur. Afterwards, it will be a simple matter to lead the creature around. With that in mind, Hronos ran straight at the T-Rex, clutching the Stopwatch on one hand, and making a clenching fist with the other. He thrusted his fist forward, and it disappeared as it went through a purple coloured hole. Hronos ran around the Tyranosaurus, under its belly, on its knees, behind its back, and over its head, as a multitude of holes appeared, delivering a barrage of time-delayed fists from his disappeared hand. Then, jumping from the creature's head, Hronos took flight, making sure that he'd be just out of reach for the dinosaur to follow him.

  13. GM Post Pedro, Dennis, the Captain, and William, all gathered up behind Carmen, clutching their riffles and holding their breaths. This was not going to be a cakewalk. Outside, the streets stirred, as loud explosions filled the area. The demons spread throughout the town, bumping into everything with their bodies, and wrecking the buildings in the process. Most of them seemed brutal, and bellow even animalistic levels of intelligence, but with a capacity for destruction that would put most combat units to shame. However, other than attacking indiscriminately, there didn't appear to be any particular aim or guidance on their work. On the street to the immediate outside of the Public Records building, 10 demons had just arrived, 4 imps, 3 canines, and 3 ogre-like creatures, carrying tree trunks as makeshift clubs. And as all this happened, Carmen's legs started feeling very weary...
  14. Hronos will Fly towards the dinosaur with Move-By action. He will attack with Interdimensional Arms A, Accurate Attack (+2/-2), All-Out Attack (+2/-2) 1d20+9 → [7,9] = (16) Using 1 HP for Improve Roll 1d20+9 → [4,9] = (13) + 10 = 23 if it hits, the DC for the damage is 26+Autofire. Hronos will complete his move by flying directly above the T-Rex, up to 500ft.
  15. GM Post "Ah, not as much, miss Canto." Dennis explained. "Master Acheron was very fond of the Church's sound, and after sampling it for one of his songs, he insisted that we always keep it in good maintenance." "Because we obviously had nothing better to do." Pedro complained. "Like cleaning the rest of the mansion, dragging musical instruments all over the island, prepar-" "Let's keep the history lessons to the bare minimum, shall we?" The Captain interjected, as she peeked from a window, next to the entrance of the building. "It seems that we've got company, and not the agreeable sort, if their leathery wings are any indication." she commented, pointing at the assortment of demonic imps gathering like swarms from behind the buildings on the other side of the street. "And what do we have there? Someone, or something, is hovering on the air, and ringing that bell on the watchtower. Whatever it is, it's got a cloak and a... pointy... hat? Smithson?" "Already on it." replied William while on his way to the back of the building, on the top floor. He only had to glance at the windows there to see the oncoming demons. "Red coloured canines with fire for tails, emerging from the forest." "We're surrounded." Pedro stated. "Any escape route?" the Captain asked the two servents. "Escape... ? No, not as much. There must be an underground banker behind the clerks' desk, but it's a dead end." "Well, going in guns blazing won't do us much good either. We may take ten, twenty tops, but they're too many for us to tackle from a non-defensible position..." The captain said, pondering their next move.
  16. Initiative Roll 1d20+8 → [6,8] = (14)
  17. Concentration check: 1d20+4 → [11,4] = (15)
  18. Hronos made sure to lie John Smith gently into the ground, so as not to further injure him. It didn't take long for him to hear the loud boom as Velocity broke the sound barrier in the process of creating a closed circle made of cyclones. He wanted to help her, he wanted to give her a hand, but he knew that at this point, his powers were next to useless. Still, he could hold his own if it came to it. The Mechanodynamis was about to ran back to the battlefield, when he noticed that John Smith still held the Stopwatch within his clutches. "It would be dangerous if I left this item on your possession at this time." Hronos said, taking the item from Smith's hands. Examining the Stopwatch, Hronos grimly thought of what Collapse would do, if he could find its way to it. He then started running away from Smith and in a curved line, all the while keeping his distance steady from Collapse.
  19. Don't I feel silly, now? In that case, Hronos will relieve Smith of his Stopwatch and make a run for it, keeping a 1000 ft distance from Collapse at all times.
  20. Hronos will run back as a move action He will attempt to disarm Collapse of the Stopwatch and grab it on his own as an Unarmed Disarm Standard action, using Accurate Attack and All Out Attack 1d20+9 → [6,9] = (15) Spending 1 HP for an improved roll 1d20+9 → [4,9] = (13) +10=23 Toughness Save vs Aura Damage: 1d20+12 → [15,12] = (27) Makes it just fine. If it hits Collapse's defence, the opposed roll against the defender's strenght is: 1d20+11 → [20,11] = (31)
  21. using Chronal Attunement to find any information about chronal anomalies.
  22. Hronos shook his head at Shadowblade's question. "I am affraid that I can not answer that. It would certainly make our investigation on the matter easier, but thus far he appears to be unwilling to part with any information of substance." Afterwards, when the Silver Magus informed Shadowblade and Hronos of successfully locating the car thief, Hronos nodded. "That is understood. Then let us all travel to his location with haste." After arriving at the car wreck, and following the lead of the footprints in the snow, Hronos examined the building, as Shadowblade suggested a stealthy approach. After giving the matter some thought, finally, he replied. "If you believe discretion will prove to be the better part of valor in this case, Shadowblade, you may proceed as you wish. We will make certain to keep your blindspots covered as much as that is possible." Meanwhile, as Shadowblade made her way to the building, Hronos drew power from the Essense of Time, and focused his senses into detecting any Chronal anomalies in the area.
  23. as faraway as Hronos could run, which given his distance from Smith, should be about 950ft away from Collapse
  24. Well, at least the woman seems reasonable enough to hear us out. Net Fly thought. Of course, it could just mean that she's confident enough that they can take us. Oh, well, a positive attitude goes a long way, I guess. Still, Net Fly had to admit, it was a delight, watching Foreshadow work the gang members. Oooohohohoho, he went for the criminal record and the cardiac arrest blows. Nice. The sooner they realise the gravity of the situation, the more cooperative they'll become. He thought, having to stifle a small smirk. "For what it's worth, we're very sorry for what happened to your boys. Especially the concussion guy-that kinda was my fault; I only wanted to remove him from the hostage he had taken, but wouldn't you know it, I underestimated my strenght and knocked him down in less than a second. If it helps you any, that meant that he didn't stay conscious long enough for the drug to take its toll on him, so that's a bullet dodged. So, yeah, sorry about that, and you're welcome." Net Fly interjected, as an aside, giving a knowing wink and accompanying finger-pointing at the finish.
  25. Hronos let the dinosaur's tail free, seeing as he was barely able to wield it. The T-Rex was out for the count, so it wouldn't pose any threat at this point, either. He was barely able to grasp Velocity's attack, which came fast like the lightning, but even more amazed he was at the fact that Collapse was completely unaffected by it. More worrying was the effect the attack had on Velocity herself. When she spoke to him, Hronos understood that Velocity was planning something big, perhaps even dangerous. "That is understood." Hronos exclaimed, as he dived towards Collapse and Smith. "I will remove John Smith from the immediate area." Grabbing the downed immortal human, Hronos accelerated further away into the distance. "Rest assured that I will return imediately!" he shouted, as he ran accross the field, further and further away. "Hold yourself tight, John Smith. I will try my best not to further injure you." The Mechanodynamis tried to reassure Smith, unaware of whether the human could hear him or not.
