Not only is he able to create spells and magical objects on his own, the Spellcrafter is able to combine on the fly the basic components of spells in order to produce stronger and more complex variations of those, or instead, opt to use self-buffing spells. So long as he can cast his spells, he remains capable in both close and ranged combat, he can take care of large groups of enemy combatants, and exploit the weaknesses of his foes. The Spellcrafter IS, however, quite physically vulnerable, and he greatly relies on avoiding hits, rather than tanking them. Furthermore, without his magic, he is rendered effectively powerless. Aside from being well-versed in arcane lore and artifact crafting, he is an able diplomat, both reasonable, calming, and insightful. The Spellcrafter's main strength lies not in brute force, but in sheer versatility. Additional Notes: :arrow: Instead of his main repertoire being innately learned spells, they could be stored in an item that focuses power, such as a mage staff or wand. Saving 23 to 24PPs in this manner could prove helpful in making room for some much needed versatility outside of magic. :arrow: Skills and 10 points of Enhanced Intelligence could prove a good investment, as well as the Master Plan feat, to take advantage of that +10 INT

GM Post Carmen's rifle packed quite a punch from close distance, and the shot it delivered point-blank shattered the demon's exposed jaw, causing him to writhe in pain, unable to even scream properly. "UUUUAAARRRRGGG!!!" Both Alex and Billy complied with Carmen and continued to fight off the Dreadknights; Alex, by shooting at his quarry again, and Billy, by trying to bash in his opponent's skull. Alas, while both of them struck true, their efforts proved in vain this time; the rifle shot hit the demon in his armor and didn't manage to even shake him, while the other demon caught Billy's strike with one hand, and even though visibly shaken, he threw the young man twenty feet away as if he was a ragdoll."Whoa-WHOAAA!" Billy screamed in surprise, and though he hit the floor, he was able to get up instantly. "Are you... okay... Billy?" Acheron said, his wound now causing him to shift in and out of consciousness. "Yeah, yeah, no worries." He said, semi-absentmindedly. As for the two Dreadknights, they now appeared to have recovered their wits. Even if one of them had lost its jaw, and was shivering due to the pain, they both looked enraged beyond measure, and their fire started acting in a weird manner, flickering more violently than ever before.

GM Post The shot struck the demonic creature right in the noggin, and while it was too strong for the bullet to pierce it, it landed with enough force to rattle its brain. The Dreadknight was left off balance, while its comrade recovered. "You... just happen to know... and they just happen to attack us the very same day you arrive?..." Alex was still eyeing Carmen wearilly, but the Dreadknight lunged at the woman, with a powerful swing that proved too wide. "Voren tavERel, Uhusta. MASak adYUr Gahek groLL salac. Nicrer TaSOlk" While the attack failed to land on its target, it did have the effect of reassuring Alex that, no matter what Carmen's relationship with the demons were, she was certainly not in league with them. "Then I'll trust you with that one, miss Canto." he said, and without missing a beat, he nailed the dazed demon with another powerful shot, one that made it take a step or two while trying to regain its sense of balance. Billy, for his part, decided that it was time to join the fray, attacking the careless demon that tried to cleave Carmen's head clean off. He managed to score a hit on its shoulder, but the Dreadknight only had to flex it a bit to shake the Cantos Stick off. "Ahhh... that... might not have been the smartest thing I've done..."

GM Post The blow from Carmen's rifle struck true and the bullet heavily pierced the demonic creature, who was left disoriented and dazed from the blow, while the other Dreadknight ran towards Alvaro, cleaving him right in the shoulder with little effort. The man screamed, and promptly fell in a catatonic shock, but it was evident that he was still breathing. "ALVARO!" shouted Acheron, and Alex attempted to shoot the monstrous creature. Unfortunately, the Dreadknight had been aware of Alex's intent, sidestepping too fast for Acheron's valet to follow, and letting the shot hit nothing but air. "Kuluk am GRAhga atmem NoC, GAlak! Maka sul, Uhusta, AKR aka jaklen, mifra es POUnkt dorAK, EbabvEL Trad CoraLCe medtendi jam LOOcca. Derm ek makalDerm as AHAntda owgva MVanith tossak, aherga Dismva." It was at that point that both Acheron and Alex gathered their wits long enough to realise that Carmen was actually conversing with the beasts. "What? What is happening? How can she...?" Alex wordlessly aimed his rifle, not at the Dreadknight, but at Carmen herself.

GM Post Carmen needed only spare a glance at the demons to recognize them as Dreadknights, minotaur-looking demons clad in armor that serve as guardsmen for the legions of hell. She remembered that the flame surrounding them repels elemental powers, such as her own fire, and if its color is dark, that's a sign that the creatures have been drawn to the mundane world by the hand of a summoner, and are bound to him, not that they would otherwise leave their infernal domain. Upon seeing her, Acheron shouted at Carmen "What the hell are you doing here, girl? You want to get yourself killed? GET OUT OF HERE!" Alex, keeping an eye on the demons said to Alvaro "Dammit, Alvaro, I told you two to ensure miss Canto and master Bloom's safety! Take them to the basement! I SAID GO!" At that, he opened fire at the demon near him, who effortlessly sidesteped the blast, while Alvaro was too terrified to register the order and respond. "Urf GAlak alaKALEsh unk suND." One of the demons spoke in an infernal language. "Meggel has ASInda rukHO, toffany ReffJINga tor madaSKO CPLat." The other replied, with a snorty laugh. "Magganda AgeTO rashka NOLdy." "MaoHEeyo. Taskan BniGEm torak GAlak inskum ggeBAk, MASak endah." "Sakllaaat. Narhol udo Danvae, Miyogsk IkiSkEN aras manatu eSTA." Tazel from within Carmen provided her with the translation.

2 Dreadknights ( Demon, Warrior PL 7 from Core Book, pg 233) Knowledge (Arcana) Check Results: Dreadknights serve as guardsmen for the legions of hell. While very common in the lower planes, they seldomly leave their demonic habitats to come to the mundane world, and it is never out of their own volition. Not particularly intelligent, they are nevertheless quite strong and durable, able to withstand punishment and deal it back in interest. The flame that surrounds them is a defensive mechanism that shields them from common elemental attacks such as fire, cold, electricity, poison and acid. If the flame's color is dark, it means that the Dreadknight has been branded by a summoner, and is bound to do his work. GM Post "Boss?..." Billy asked, needing only a moment's confirmation to shift gears and grab his photographic camera. "Understood!" he simply said, and followed behind Carmen, who had taken the lead, as Yanni protested. "Miss Canto, please, you heard my colleague. It's for your safet-arrggh!" He screamed in surprise as Carmen forcibly disarmed him. "Wa- Wait!! Give that back!..." Yanni took only a few steps before Carmen and Billy managed to outrun him. "What about me? How am I supposed to... to... Without a..." he fearfully gulped and after looking front and back, he madly dashed towards the stairs leading to the base floor, his heart pounding at an accelerated speed. The hailstorm raged on, as Carmen and Billy made their way to the third floor. A few dozens of paces in front of Carmen, Alvaro looked horrified, his rifle trained at the room in which persumably Acheron and Alex were at the moment. Gunshots could be heard comming from inside the room, a loud buzzing noise and reverbs from impact. Alvaro started opening fire as well. "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!" he cried, both out of terror and in order to bolster his courage. In front of him, two demonic creatures looking like minotaurs clad in dark colored knightly armor, and their feet looked reptilian, like a dragon's. They yielded sharp swords, and they were surrounded by a dark flame aura, just like the Hellstingers. Acheron layed in the floor, clutching a wound in his foot, while Alex in front of him was firing furiously at the demons.

GM Post "Now now, ma'am. You two are master Phlegethon's guests, and it is our job to make sure that no harm will come to you." Alvaro said in response to Carmen's comment. Yanni added "Well, arming you two isn't a bad idea, per se, but that's under the condition that you don't put yourselves in harm's way." By the time he had finished, Billy had gotten himself dressed as quickly as he could, but as soon as he and Carmen were at the door, gunshots coming from above started echoing. "Alvaro?" "Sounds like it's coming from above..." "Above?" Asked Billy. "Isn't that where Acheron and his valet should be?" Yanni and Alvaro looked at each other uncomfortably. Finally, Alvaro said. "Alright, you two, go with Yanni where the others are. Yanni, as soon as you take those two there, bring a three or four armed people from the staff with you and come to the third floor." "Alvaro... *Sigh* okay, I'll do as you wish. Be careful." Yanni nodded with understanding. "Same as you." More gunshots could be heard, and a lot of thrashing. Alvaro dashed towards the stairs.

GM Post The two men, their backs still turned away, relaxed their grips on their rifles. "... Ummm... we're not entirely sure what's going on..." Alvaro said. "Some of the staff said that monstrous creatures forced their way into the manor from outside. Personally, I witnessed a few of these buggers materialise in front of me out of thin air. Honestly? I-I-I was so freaked out at the time, I still don't understand how I managed to escape with all my limbs intact." Yanni said, visibly shaken at the memory of today's events. "It all happened a while back. Ten, fifteen... maybe twenty minutes ago..." "After we gathered everyone we could find from the first floor and the ground floor, we barricaded in the living room, and fought the monsters from there." "We got rid of most of them, but some monsters may still be lurking around." "As for master Acheron, we are unsure as of yet." "Mister Movida and Mark went to check on him just now." "At any rate, if the two of you are..." Yanni said, turning slowly back at the guests, and witnessing Billy, who after realising he was missing a few key pieces of clothing and a sheet to cover himself, had awkwardly hidden himself behind the bed. "... ready, then I suggest that we get a move on back to the living room. The longer we stay here, the worse our chances of making it back safe and sound become."

GM Post A black colored hole appeared bellow the floating demon, sending light upwards, in a cylindrical fashion. The circularly-shaped black hole then ascended, making the Hellstinger disappear bottom-up, as Billy wordlessly followed Carmen's orders, first heading for the exit, and then going back and getting under the sheets, although, he was honestly feeling a bit lost by now. This is WAAYYYYYY over my head. he thought. In a manner of moments, Alvaro and Yanni entered the room, seeing the door open and the mess in the hallway, with their hunting rifles trained. "Hey! Everything alright, madam Canto?" Yanni asked, after making sure that no super-sized insects were flying his way. "We didn't come too la-..." "Some weird creatures appeared in the house, all over the place, and started wrecking things. We managed to kill most of them, and repel the others, but two of the staff, Katrine and Dimitri, have been injured." Alvaro explained, while watching for Yanni's back. Seeing Yanni pause, he turned to his coworker. "... Hey? What's the matter? Do you see any more of the... the... oh!..." "... Ah! Sorry, we didn't mean...." Yanni said, and the two men awkwardly turned their backs to Carmen and Billy.

GM Post As Karmen attacked one Hellstinger, hitting it with force and splatting it all over the floor, her newly aqcuired thrall attacked the other Hellstinger, piercing it with its stinger with such force that it dug through a hole out of its victim's chest, making the last opposing demon's body rip in four pieces, as their remains burned to the black flame. Only Carmen's thrall remained, which now buzzed in the air aimlessly and disorientedly, as if lost. Billy, for his part, looked positively awestruck. When he finally gathered his wits about, he rushed towards Karmen, in order to congratulate her. "Awesome! Too awesome, Boss! You were too awesome for words to describe! You were like a warrior, a legendary barbarian in rage like in movies and books, or a wizard or a shaman or... a... a... a Superhero!!" he exclaimed excitedly, praising Carmen's accomplisments. "The way you went up against them, unflinchingly... you must have done this a lot..." A commotion could be heard from the stairs. "...that the rest of the personel is alright! Alvaro! Yanni! You two check on master Phlegethon's guests! Make sure they're alright, and if more of these creatures appear, don't hesitate to shoot. Mark, I want you with me. We will be checking on master Phlegethon himself. Hurry!" Came the voice of Alex, Acheron's valet, and he alongside Mark quickly dashed past the second floor, at the stairs leading up to the third floor as Yanni and Alvaro climbed the stairs, towards Carmen and Billy

"No, no... it's okay." Net Fly quickly responded. With concern in his voice, he continued. "I suppose... a bit of cockiness is alright now and then. It IS, after all, one of your strong suits, the main reason why you shine as a beacon of hope for everybody, and why La Dama Azul chose you as the bearer of her mantle. And I certainly don't hate that characteristic of yours, just... be careful, okay? Cocky, yet careful." He said, a slight hint of uncertainty in his voice. At Subito's reassuring words, he said. "Thanks, Heraldo. I trully appreciate it!" "Hmmm? Kat?" Net Fly asked, puzzled at why Heraldo asked him about Warp, as the teen known to his friends and classmates as Subito Sondo veered off. Chiming in with Subito, he added "That's right! Every little bit helps, and we should all lend a hand whenever we can." "Right then." Serge said to the group, after they finished scanning the immediate area. "Where to next? Should we head towards the Boardwalk? Or perhaps go back towards Lincoln?"

Chronal Blaster: Hronos reconfigures his arms into hand-canons that shoot blue-ish hued blasts imbued with chronal energy causing the recipients pain, by affecting the recipients' base components(such as cells, molecules, or even ectoplasmic matter) topically, and forcing them to vibrate out of sync. Deccelerator Blaster: Hronos reconfigures his hands into one big canon, that is capable of hindering the recipient's ability to percieve danger, avoid it, and even subconsiously dodge harm. Inter-Dimensional Arms A & B: Hronos activates his arms' inbuilt mini-chronodimensional portal generators, making them capable of breaking the barriers of time and space. Depending on the configuration, Hronos can rapidly pummel his foe up close from all angles at once, or he can employ his numerous arms to wrestle and subdue his foe from affar, as well as handle delicate tasks. Inter-Dimensional Arms B: Currently Offline Substitution: By activating this device, Hronos is able to manipulate or fold the space-time continuum in such ways that he instantly trades places with another cooperating being. Currently Offline Support Motor: This enhancing device redirects Hronos' own power from many different times and apply them all at once, granting him huge amounts of strength. Temporal Nexus Generator: By activating a mechanism that distorts reality around him so that it is able to carry time-paradoxes, Hronos is able to summon parallel versions of himself. He can telepathically coordinate with them, and while present, all of them are equally as real. Currently Offline Temporal Shift: By activating an internal device, Hronos is able to step outside the normal boundaries of time and space, and go completely unnoticed by most senses. Currently Offline Time Stopper: This powerful device feeds directly off of the Essence of Time to create a sphere in which the recipients are temporally frozen in place, unable to move or even act. It requires a big amount of concenrtation to activate, and as thus, Hronos is left defenceless when he uses it. Time Reset: This powerful device feeds directly off of the Essence of Time to create a sphere that allows for a limited form of time-paradox, in which the recipients' bodies are all shifted to a previous state of being, while still retainning their experiences. However, spending the last few millenia in a lethargic sleep, a lot of his capabilities, are malfunctioning, and thus, set offline, until he can recover them. His computational capacity appears to be hampered by fragmentation. Hronos' insulators have severyly degraded, making electricity and magnetism severely affect his techno-mechanical body, and due to being incactive for many milenia, his mental defences are slightly unregulated, afecting his ability to withstand mental attacks. History: Spirit. Life. Time. Death. Knowledge. These are the five key Essences that have been encompassing the world, ever since the beginning of time. When the world was created, there were also created five beings of robotical nature. These beings came to be known as Mechanodynames, and they were each tasked with safeguarding an Essence. Psihi, the Holder of Spirit. Zoi, the Holder of Life. Hronos, the Holder of Time. Thanatos, the Holder of Death. And Gnosi, the Holder of Knowledge. The Essences granted each one of them a unique and diverse assortment of powerful abilities, which further augmented their natural capabilities. Using those powers, the Five Wielders were able to protect the galaxy from various threats, both from within and from without the creation. One of the most powerful of them was Catastrophe, the Bringer of Annihilation, who invaded the world and waged a terrible war with the Mechanodynames. During the war, the Five Wielders, assisted by the first civilizations, managed to stave off Catastrophe's forces, and in a final climactic battle, they repelled Catastrophe into the Entropy Zone. Doing so, however, required a huge energy release, that damaged and scattered the Mechanodynames towards the five corners of the universe. The blast had rendered Hronos offline, as he drifted through space, until he finally arrived at the solar system, during the accretion of the planet that was to become known as Earth. The next 4 billion years, Hronos remained close to the core of the planet, and his slumber seemed that it would last for eternity. That eventually changed, though, when the various disturbances caused from the constant battles between superpowered beings that were waged on Earth, shook Hronos' systems to turn back on. After crawling his way out of the ground and into the surface, Hronos came face to face with the civilization that had started to thrive in this planet. He soon realised that many of his systems were malfunctioning, and that he couldn't escape the gravity of Earth. Deciding that he must have arrived there for a reason, Hronos set forth to travel and protect the Earth and it's inhabitants from all threats, his journey eventually leading him to Freedom City. Personality & Motivation: Hronos is a very calm, and at times, deliberate individual. He speaks in a very polite and formal manner, when conversing with others. His sense of duty has been instilled in him ever since his creation, and drives him to protect those in need from danger. Powers & Tactics: Hronos values subdoing his opponents as efficiently as possible. That is why he prefers opening up a battle by employing the Deccelerator Blaster if faced with one foe, or the Time Stopper if faced with multiple foes, and then pick them appart with long ranged artillery. When the fight becomes close and personal, he switches gears into employing the Support Motor, which greatly enhances his combat capabilities, and uses his nigh-unescapable grip to render his enemies helpless. Finally, when a foe proves especially stubborn, he attacks them with a vicious barrage of unarmed blows, taking advantage of the fact that his Interdimensional Arms can come from all angles, ignoring tempo-spatial restrictions, and taking opponents by surprise.
