"..." For a few seconds, Hronos stood suspended in the air, unmoving, while he processed what had transpired. One moment the creature was there, and the other it vanished, as if it never was... ... As if it existed once, but no more. Hronod corrected his own thinking. I have a dreadful feeling about this situation. And if my assessment is correct... Once again, Hronos flew downwards, searching for one of the fleeing humans in the area. Upon finding one, he lands near in front of him, with his arms raised in a non-threatening way, and attempts to speak to him "Do not be alarmed, human citizen. I wish to do you no harm, and the rampaging creature appears to have returned to were it came from, so you have no reason to worry. I am not a native to this planet, however, and I would require your assistance in a related matter. If you could provide me with the information I require, I would greatly appreciate it."
-
Hmm... The blast hit the creature squarely, but it appears to have resisted its effects. That is very curious. Hronos thought, as he dodged the creature's attack. Perhaps this turn of events calls for taking a different course of action. As the mechanical being's hands reverted to their original shape, a number of circuits along his body started flashing with the power from the Essence of Time, and Hronos felt the strength from his past and future selves redirected at him in the present. He focused his efforts on attacking the dinosaur, and even though the gigantic creature resisted the attempt, it fell victim to Hronos' hold, as the Mechanodynamis lifted the Tyrannosaurus Rex effortlessly. Following that, Hronos flew hundreds of Feet in the air, away from the ground. That should remove the creature from the immediate area. It does not appear to be very intelligent, and if it attempts to break my hold, it will find itself falling to the ground.

"Don't worry, Ma'am!" Serge beamed at Mrs Sondo. "Me and Victoria will make sure the two of them will behave." Serge followed Subito and Galanta on the court. He took the ball and started dribbling and shooting to the basket, in order to get a proper feel for the ball. By no means was he an expert basketball player, and his hand coordination could definitely use some improvement, but he had the basics down fine, and he could aim with good accuracy. "Well, Subito, I could go with Galanta, and you could go with Victoria, seeing as the two of you would rather end up against each other. Or, we could just each shoot the ball from the foul line, and the first two to score form a team. In case of a tie, a reshoot will occur for those who tied."

Net Fly gratefully took the flashlight offered to him by the other officer, and bowed his head as a further sign of gratitude. "Your aid is much appreciated officer. You have our thanks." turning around to the other heroes gathered there, the young man spoke "Alright, everyone. I think we're ready as we'll ever be. Let us be on our way. Crow and Silver Spider, even if we have flashlights, we will be relying on you two to watch our backs." Addressing Vector, Net Fly said. "We will be right behind you, Vector. Keep your eyes open, and your flashlight trained at all times." Turning to face the path, Net Fly gathered himself and said "Let's do this!"

Serge was browsing the stands, going from section to section, and checking the track lists of various albums. Upon finding a track that he was familiar with, he would chuckle slightly as he brought to mind the track's tune. Turning at his friend, Subito, when he spake to him, Serge nodded as he said "No need to thank me bro, I was just stating the facts! And the fact is, your idea is certain to generate plenty of interest. The bigger question is, when do you think we will be ready to hold the festival, and especially the play. Setting things up from a technical standpoint shouldn't take more than two weeks, but Shakespeare's work is not your average school play; it would take months of rehearsal before we are ready..." pausing a bit to run some logistics, Serge hazard a guess "... Hmmm... about three months should do it, right on time for Christmas. That is, if we rehearse intensively and on a daily basis."

The dinosaur's teeth had attempted to sunk deep into Hronos' chasis, but the bite barely put a dent on his protective plating, even if the attack had caught him unaware. It appears that not only the creature cannot comprehend me, it caught me off guard as well. My systems are still operating at inoptimum levels. Bringing his arms together, Hronos transfigured them into a cannon, that started gathering chronal energy, and aimed it at the T-Rex. "That was your chance. Unfortunate. If you do not wish to cooperate with me, I will have to subdue you." The robot spoke indifferently, and the cannon unleashed a purple-colored energy blast directed at his foe.

The roars coming from the park could be heard through even the noise of the traffic, and Hronos, who was flying mostly aimlessly around, detected the commotion, and decided to investigate. Upon closer inspection, Hronos could spot the humans fleeing the scene in due haste, and he spotted what he determined to be the cause for their distress. Hmmm... This creature resembles the ones called reptiles by the humans, but it appears to be far larger than the ones I have encountered around the planet. Thanatos, my brother, informed me that this planet has a high concentration of individuals with capabilities above and beyond the norm, so perhaps, this creature is one such? The mechanical being wondered, as he approached the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Landing nearby the giant creature, and walking steadily at it, Hronos inquired the dinosaur, with his right hand held high, in a calming manner: "Your pressence here has upsetted the human citizens. What appears to be the situation?"

"Emmm, actually..." Serge said, a bit weakly. "That would require to take into account the accoustics of the room involved, not to mention a good music ear. And to be perfectly honest, I... don't think I'm an expert on anything involving sound... Having that said, however, I'm sure we could find someone on the student body who could aid us in that aspect, and I would definitely be able to lend a hand on the hardware and software involved." the young man explained to his friend. "Hmmm, but yeah, that sounds pretty cool, Subito! At the very least, it's a start, and that's more than what I had to offer!" Serge praised his buddy.

"Right you are, officer. Thank you for your assistance." Net Fly thanked the man in blue. He couldn't help but feel the static electricity build as the hair on the back of his neck stood up. Turning at the other heroes gathered, the young man inquired. "So, what do you think? Perhaps we should make a formation, in order to proceed? The officer mentioned something about a toxin in the victims, right?..." The young hero commented, as he considered the team's options. "... hmmm... Vector, you said something about directing foreign agents away from your body, right? In that case, you should take point, as you stand the biggest chance against any nasty surprise our quarry may have. Me and Silver Spider can provide support as your wingmen, and Crow can follow us while hiding in the shadows. I'm sure you could take our foe by surprise, while we keep it occupied. Any thoughts?"

"Everyone, please!" Serge said with his arms spread open in a calming manner. "There is no reason for us to get overly excited. A competitive spirit is all fine and well, but don't let it get to your heads." He cautioned the two siblings, in a sage-like way. A chuckle escaped his mouth, however, and he relented "Ah, well, what the hell? A game of basketball sounds fun!" He beamed. "Vicky, you in?" he asked Victoria. "Hmm, but what would be the rules? Since we are so few, half-court rules would seem appropriate, no?" Serge inquired. "That is:  We are all playing under the same basket. If the ball leaves the half of the court we're playing, it counts as an out of bounds. When a team acquires the ball, other than through stealing, they should 1)exit the 3-point perimeter and 2)pass to a teammate, before being able to take a shot, otherwise, it counts as a safety(meaning, it doesn't give points). If they steal the ball, instead, they only have to exit the 3-point perimeter. Each 2-pointer counts as 1 point, and each 3-pointer as 2 points. Fouls are treated as Out of Bounds. The winning team is the one to 1)score at least 21 points, and 2)has a leading score of at least 2 points." "Sounds right?"

"Hmmmm... well... I've certainly never heard of it. I think it's obscure enough to fit the bill." Serge nodded in agreement over Subito's suggestion. "However, just because it's a new and unusual experience, doesn't mean it's appealing. We will need something to garner attention... something..." Serge struggled coming up with an idea. Sure, he could do machinery and binary code every day of the week, but give him a task that requires creative, out of the box thinking, and Serge would be completely stumped. Even his first powersuit was basically a few devices, that he had found, thrown and held together by shewn cloth. It wasn't until later that he managed to access some interesting papers about advanced robotics, that some sparks of creativity flashed before him. "... Gah! I dunno... Any ideas on how we could make it a really appealing option?"

Serge looked a bit confused at Subito's look, for a moment there, but seeing it change almost instantly, he decided to let it rest instead of inquiring about it, thinking that it was probably nothing. "Well... Shakespear's real famous plays would be Romeo And Juliet, and Hamlet. Perhaps Othello too. King Lear, The Twelfth Night, The Taming Of The Shrew, and A Midsummer Night's Dream would be the more obscure ones... not that you could call even them obscure, really... Oh, and Much Ado About Nothing, can't forget about that... hmmm, perhaps we should avoid the Merchant Of Venise, what with Shylock the antagonist being... well... rife with unfortunate implications." Serge said, scratching his chin as he tried to think of any more plays from Shakespeare he might have forgotten. "...Ah! Macbeth, I almost forgot that. Yes, " the young man attempted to reinact the famous line from the play, ignoring the passerbys. "Right, after those plays, you go to the more obscure ones, like Antonio and Cleopatra or Henry... and... that's all Shakespeare's plays I've heard of. Hmmm... We could also go for some Comedia del Arte, like Servant Of Two Masters. Or perhaps, some Ancient Greek plays, if you'd really wanna go retro. Lysistrata is a classic comedy. Heh, get it? Classic Comedy?" The young teen snorted at his lame pun.

"A very reasonable idea, Vector." Net Fly nodded in agreement, and listened carefully as the two heroines explained their powers. When they were done, he took the turn to explain his power-set. "My body can vibrate in high frequencies, which enhances my speed, strenght, and toughness, as well as allows me to fly or stick on surfaces. Furthermore, my powers also act as a battery for my suit, which creates a loop feedback of strengthening my powers back, and also allows me to harness them in the form of sonic blasts." He punctuated that part, by indicating both his blue gauntlets, which were slightly bulkier than the rest of his suit, and the megaphone in his chest. "Finally, I can give a hand to Silver Spider in making stuff on the spot, at least if it involves computers or technology in some way."
-
Net Fly hovered a few feet above the crime scene and he listened at the officer's descriptions. At first, seeing that two heroes had apparently arrived at the scene, he thought that he should leave the work on them, instead of getting on their way. The two women certainly seemed capable of tackling any foe, and between the two of them, they could easily watch each other's back, which is always a good idea. However, the more he heard, the more worried he became. Taking a deep breath, he slowly descended near the two superheroines, and introduced himself. "Well, this just sounds like real trouble. Hello, I'm Net Fly. I'm sorry, I was gonna leave this case to the two of you, but from what the officer said, I think even a battalion of superheroes would have trouble dealing with the culprit. That being the case, I'd like to lend a hand, if you don't mind me."

... Well, it can't be helped. I hoped to take more of them down with the cannons, but I guess I'll just have to bust them up the old-fashioned way. Net Fly thought, as he prepared himself, both physically and mentally, for one final round against the robots. Checking his equipment, he made sure that everything was operating and in order. After he was done, he waited for his captors, ready to bring the hurt on them. "Alright you metal-heads! Let's do this. Round two. I'll make sure that when I'm done with you, not even the recycle processors will be able to sort you back together."

Serge looked diagonially upwards, for a second, before responding "Well, hearing your favorite music certainly is cool, but after a while, it can get tiring, hearing the same songs over and over. Radio has many frequencies, providing both flexibility and the randomness factor. Plus, you may hear some interesting news." He said, giving a meaningful look at his friend in order to punctuate that last part. Serge listened carefully at Subito, nodding in agreement. "Indeed, you have a point there. Even though the year has been relatively quiet, I'm sure that everyone could do with some stress release. But just a music fest? That seems... I dunno, narrow? Why not add some theater in the mix?"

"Ah, I see..." Serge muttered, almost to himself, as they returned to watching the movie. "A same, really, not being able to get along." he continued focusing on the movie, while also thinking about it. "...but I wouldn't worry that much. Blood before water, and all that." He whispered between scenes, and helped himself to some snacks. After he took a few bites, he drank some cola, to quench himself. Unlike usually, he was careful not to make any unneeded noise by 'washing' the carbonated drink in his mouth.

The hero Net Fly was flying way above the clouds, his dark uniform being almost indistinct from the black of the night, occasionally lowering his altitude, getting closer to the ground, in order to see if there was any trouble happening at the area he was currently in. He had already checked most of Kingston, North End and Hanover, and now, he was turning towards the West End, for a final round, before retiring for the day. It was proving to be a relatively quiet day(or night, as it were), with only a few incidents occuring, and most of them were already taken care of by other heroes. Net Fly managed to stop a few robbers on their gateaway car, but other than that, nothing big had happened yet. Not that he terribly minded the lack of excitement. He understood perfectly well that every little bit helped. "Now, let's see... what does this corner hold..."
