1. as a PL8, yes, Ari. However, didn't you say that we should use his PL7 sheet?
2. New Stealth Check 1d20+5 → [19,5] = (24) Plan A, Knowledge(Technology) Check vs DC25 for a +4 bonus 1d20+10 → [1,10] = (11) Plan C, Using Datalink to link directly into the device. Taking 10 on Computers(total 20) to beat the DC15. Computers DC35 and Knowledge(Technology) DC17 to beat the security. Not even bothering with a roll. Plan C.b,Computers DC22 to scan the ship's layout.... 1d20+10 → [2,10] = (12) yeah.... So, back to Plan B:"Blowing stuff up!"
3. Well, then. It seems quiet... maybe too quiet, so Notice check, to see if I'm observed in any way. 1d20+5 → [11,5] = (16) Additionally, I'm going to take 10 on my(old) Knowledge Technology skill(for a total of 20), in order to aid my Notice attempt, identify if any cameras or motion sensors or whatnot are in place. And at any rate, taking a stealth check as well, because you never know. 1d20+5 → [18,5] = (23) Yowza! Net Fly will attempt to get close to the inlet, unless he's been watched, in which case, he will try to quiet like disable the cameras, sensors, whatever, by taking 10 on his disable device(20 total, by the old sheet)
4. For a long, looong time, Net Fly wandered the corridors of the ship. He would be constantly commenting at the marvels he witnessed in the ship's interior, now that he had the time to do so, if not for the fact that he was too busy picking his jaw from the floor all the time. Yes, certainly, this is basically an optical projection of some sort, possibly employing hard light and an advanced AI to dynamically alter the content it creates in direct relation to the user, but still, the level of detail is simply stunning! And most of this stuff is created based on actual, honest-to-goodness alien technology, with just the faintest touches of poetic(or is that, technological?) licence here and there. Words can't even BEGIN to describe how everything about the Doom Room is aeons ahead of my Vibro-Suit. However, after the wonderment started to recede, the gravity of the situation, however virtual it may be, still came down like tons of brick and hit him. Which amounts to nothing for my situation, really. This thing here may be beyond even my skills to sabotage, and opting for the direct approach would definitely be a pointless suicide. Gotta figure a way to deal with the situation, and figure it fast, before the droids decide to upgrade me against my will and better judgement. I mean, what's up with that? Sure, altering one's body is a radical idea, but it's not inherently bad, at least, not in itself, but what these droids are talking about basically amounts to mass scale violation of individual sentient rights... And good luck convincing them that individualism isn't a bad thing, especially without making them enforce individualism in a fanatical way, and then there's the... Clutching his temples and massaging them with his right hand, Net Fly stopped that train of thought on it's tracks. Ok, Overthinking much? Remember math, Serge. See the whole problem, once, get a good general idea of what you need to do, ignore it, and start solving the problem, one part at a time. If anything arises afterwards, it will be dealt then. Now, let's see if I can find any good place to hack into the ship's systems and disable its defences, preferably, a spot seldomly, if ever, noticed.
5. By the time he had changed clothes and made his way back to the group, Serge had managed to calm from the fatigue. He had been inexplicably quiet during the whole clean-up, and continued so through most of the rest of the show. Subito's words finally snapped him out of his reverie. "Eh? Wha-?" Rethinking the statement, Serge replied "Yeah, it IS a bit weird." Staying a bit more quiet, he says again "Sorry, I've been thinking about that Heqanefer guy. He was a madman, to be sure, but he seemed to genuinely pull the king Hed Ra from the land of the Dead. The pharaoh was even mostly aware of what had happened to him, and more than a bit disapproving, so I'm inclined to believe that this was no mere parlor trick. I doubt you can just teach this kind of sorcery, which really makes me think... What was his deal? How did Heqanefer came to weild such power? Was it innate? Or did someone... enable him..." At Luke's comment, Serge couldn't help but nod in agreement "Your help is appreciated, man! It was a nice trick, and the first test run was definitely a success, but I'm still working out some kinks, here and there. If I could manage the golden ratio between power input, effectiveness and controlability, the move could become useful for crowd control." He smiled back at him. As the show came to an end, Serge addressed the group "Anyways, sorry for bailing out on you like that. I try to keep the fact that I'm Net Fly a secret, and while I could no doubt change were I was, I didn't feel all that comfortable. Not that you guys didn't handle things just fine without me. Heh." he joked lightly. "Especially you Chloe. You did a number on Heqanefer, and that's no mean feat. I count my blessings that I won't ever have to go up against you... well... hopefully. And Luke, I get the feeling that you weren't really giving it your all there. As if your mind was... elsewhere... Okay, look(hehe, sorry)" giving an exasperated sigh, he continued. "I won't even pretend that I begin to even imagine how you must feel. All I know is that, if you need someone to talk to, or even just hang out with, me and Subito will be more than glad to be there for you."
6. "Well, time to get to work." Thanks to Heraldo's watchful gaze, Net Fly felt assured and safe enough to completely concentrate on finding the mainframe, without having to worry about his surroundings. Before operating the machine, he examined it carefully, to see if anything seemed out of the ordinary. Seeing that nothing was out of place, he decided to carry on. Pressing a button near his earpiece, Serge opened the suit's communication channel and connected with the device in front of him. Let's see... the active ports are... follow the branching paths... no, that's a printer... no... no... hmmm... aaaaaa? no, wrong again... This continued for quite some time, until he was able to successfully ping the mainframe computer and recieve a reply on his echo request. Bingo! Connection established. Keep Alive, 2 hours. Maximum timeout... ok, everything is in working order. Let the fun begin. Net Fly made use of the keyboard that was projected to his mind from his device, as he projected his consiousness to the mainframe, and started typing commands to retrieve the schematics of the base. Upon finding what he was looking for, he downloaded the file on his suit's Memory Drive, and disconnected from the device. "Pheww. That went surprisingly well." he exclaimed, as he gathered his bearings and faced his friend. "Ok. Sorry if I took too long. I've got it. The mainframe is located on the first level, but outside of a lift on the third level, it's completely inaccessible. I've downloaded the map, so It can point us the way. Shall we?"
7. Net Fly heard the mummy speak, and was rendered speachless from what he said. As the rest of the group continued the pummeling, Net Fly was about to join in as well, when a sudden thought occured to him. Wait... this is a perfect chance to try THAT move. Though I've practiced it a lot on the academy grounds, I hadn't have the chance to test it on the field yet... Net Fly gathered sonic energy in his gloves as he concentrated, his mind completely focused at the task at hand. Opening his eyes, he addressed Hed Ra "It is trully unfortunate that we had to cross paths under such circumstances, oh mighty King. I am sorry for what I am about to do, but rest assured that once we're done here, we will see to it personally that your unwanted master faces justice, and that you will return to your rest with all honours befitting a noble warrior such as you." While there was a certain theatrical flair on Net Fly's voice, it was quite apparent that his sentiments of respect were genuine. Turning to Medic, who was once again keeping Heqanefer under control, along with Glow's formidable telekinetic help, Net Fly shouted "Medic! Brace yourself!" Losing no time, he started spinning, faster and faster, until his body had become a greyish blur with blue lines. Unleashing the accrued sonic energy from his fists in a quick succession of very short bursts, the blue-streak hero send a barrage of curving sonic blasts that seemingly locked on the magician and the mummy, to the exclusion of everyone else in the room. The attack hit them on low on their front and high on their back, so that it would not only hurt them, but also make it easier for them to lose their footing and fall. Performing the attack, however, required a great sonic energy output, as well as fine manipulation of said output, leaving Net Fly not only severely disoriented, but also exhausted and struggling for air.
8. Net Fly will use Extraordynary Effort to Increase Power of the Sonic Converter Array by 2 ranks(+4PPs, total 24PPs) for one round, and stunt off it the following power: Damage 10 (Extras: Area[burst] 100ft Radius, Linked[Trip], Selective, Flaws: Action(Full-Round), Distracting, Feats: Progression[Area]) + Trip 10 (Extras: Area[burst], Linked[Damage], Selective, Flaws: Action(Full-Round), Range(Touch), Feats: Improved Trip, Progression[Area]) [11 + 12 = 23PP] (Sonic Maelstorm) Taking a Full-Round action to use Sonic Maelstorm, to hit Hed-Ra and Heqanefer. Saves: DC20 Reflex to halve the effects of the attack DC25 Toughness and 1d20+10 → [16,10] = (26): 26 STR or DEX check, whichever is lowest(Improved Trip). Also, I should note that due to the distracting flaw, Net Fly now has lost his dodge bonus. His flat footed defence(contrary to what the sheet may say) is actually lower, +2(for a total of 12) EDIT: It's DC25 Toughness(15+10), not 20...
9. Oh, joy. Serge thought sarcastically. Deciding that pushing his luck and trying to convince the robots through his rather lacking oratory skills wouldn't be a smart idea, the young hero decided that playing along would prove far more fortuitous in order to carry out his mission, and avert the mass-conversion of the population. I mean, don't get me wrong, self, there's nothing inherently evil or abhorent about performing modifications on ones body, in and of itself, but these robots seem to have a certain... fanatical flair on them. Not the kind of AIs to care much about an individual's rights or whatnot. On the comm, he replied. "... affirmative. However, I will require some assistance on docking this ship. I had little problem making wide turns with it, but landing, especially inside another ship, would require fine manipulation, and I'm not that familiar with the controls. I hope it won't be much trouble for you to send me some safety instructions on boarding, if remotely controling the ship is impossible." He said sincerely. I mean, last thing I want is to incure this robot's wrath. I'm in enough trouble walking on a thin thread as is.
10. Taking 10 on Knowledge Technology[Total 20], to diagnose if the thing is operational and connected to the facility's intranet, 10 on Craft Electronics[total 20] to repair any possible damage it may have, using Datalink to connect with the machine, taking 10 on Computers[total 20] to defeat any possible security I may encounter, and a 20 on Computers[total 30] to ascertain the location of the mainframe
11. 1d20 → [15] = (15) Bluff Check. +2 circumstance bonus. Fingers crossed!
12. "Cleansing? Uh..." Net Fly said uneasily, as he processed this new information. Great! Smashing robots beyond recognition is one thing, but negotiating with them...? "Is that really necessary? I mean, in the granded scheme of things? Why can't we all just..." Serge tried, rather unconvincingly, even to himself, before leaving a sigh and saying. "Alright, let me perfectly honest with you. I have no idea who you are, what it is you hope to accomplish here, and why you want to do so. All I know is that one moment I'm just minding my own busyness, and the next moment, I find myself trapped in a vessel heading on collision course, with no way out." Taking a deep breath, and hoping against hope that his plea gets heard, Net Fly continues "And really, why is it that you wish to destroy organic life? What is it about it, that you find pestillent, and unwanted? An organic being, any organic being, once you really think about it, is really not that different from a robotic one; They both perceive the world through the interpretation of signals, they both learn and evolve, they both require energy to function(energy which they then return to the world at large, conservation of energy and all that), and they're both, technically speaking, machines, in that there are limits to what their bodies can accomplish, without modifications(and even then, really), as well as that they both are the sum of smaller machines, each one doing it's part towards accomplishing simple and complex tasks, on the behalf of the greater machine."
13. Net Fly wouldn't mind joining in, if you'd have him :)
14. Serge unpacked his clothes, but he quickly realised he didn't have much time to change. Focusing all his powers on augmenting his speed, Serge removed his clothes and got into his suit with a blinding fast speed. Having nowhere good enough to stash his bag, Serge, now Net Fly, started running immediately again, carrying the bag with him. As soon as he returned to the room, he dropped his back and, seeing the magician struggling under Medic's hold, charged towards the Re-animated corpse with all his might, unleashing a barrage of blows and punches at Hed-Ra. "Sorry folks, but this here show seems to be over. Why don't you fellas come down all peaceful-and-quiet-like, have a cup of coffee, say a few words to the authorities, and all that? No? Sigh... No one ever wants to do it the easy way, noooo, we always have to talk with our fists, we al-..." Net Fly said with a theatric flair, before he abruptly realised that while the fists flew true, sadly, and to Net Fly's utter frustation, the Mummy didn't even budge. "Wow! You're a persistant one, are you?"
15. Diplomacy roll. 1d20+0 → [4,0] = (4) GM-Fiated 1d20+0 → [20,0] = (20)
16. Sonic Screwdriver'd by Dok Net Fly Time to spend some earned PPs on Net Fly. Spending 12 PPs total(and making some corrections as well). So, let's take it from the top. Combat  Remove 1 rank from Attack(It will be bought back as an Accurate Power Feat)[-2PP] Skills  Add 10 Ranks on Computers(MAX), 5 Ranks on Disable Device, and 5 Ranks on Acrobatics. He wears prescription reading glasses, although ever since his powers awoken, he stopped needing them. His casual attire consists of lion-colored baggy pants or jeans, a light-grey tank-top and a green camp shirt. His costume is mostly grey, composed of a spandex-like material, and covers most of his body, except the eyes, and it has extra pockets strapped at his thighs. He wears black boots and black briefs, on top of the suit, with a blue tool belt. He has blue mechanical gauntlets, and a white megaphone strapped on a blue x-shaped harness, in front of his chest. Finally, he has two blue head-pieces that cover his ears, on top of his mask. Power Descriptions: Net Fly is a mutant, with the power to influence his body's vibrations. This gives him an assortment of innate abilities, like enhanced agility, strength, and stamina, the ability to "stick" on surfaces, and the ability to fly. Further-more, he has costumised his Vibro-Suit so that he can further harness those powers and re-focus them into sonic energy. He can concentrate his gloves with sonic energy in order to enhance his fists or produce Sonic Blasts and hit his opponents from a distance. He can also opt to redirect his powers to his chest-phone, and unleash a powerful Sonic Beam. The suit also channels Net Fly's vibrational energies to create a protective Vibro-Field, which lessens the impact of attacks. Finally, his suit comes equipped with a Net Dive device, which allows him to interact with machinery and even enter the cyberspace. History: Serge was a gifted young boy, and he showed from an early age an aptitude with complex machinery and computers. While he comes from a divorced family, his parents have managed to keep a good relationship with each other and their son. When he became an adolescent, Serge started exhibiting his latent mutant abilities. It wasn't, however, until much later, when he became unwittingly entangled with a heist, that he decided to use his powers for a purpose. A group of armed robbers ambushed an armory car and stole a bunch of high-tech equipment. During the heist, things quickly escalated, and Serge, allong with a few other bystanders, was captured as a hostage, and held against his will. At first, he was paralyzed from fear, until he witnessed the robbers shot a man in front of him, in order to force the police to meet their demands. Finding an opportunity, Serge sneaked out of sight and undid his bonds with his strength. He took a few devices that were laying close to him, and tinkered with them as quickly as he could, fashioning them into Sonic Blasters. Before the robbers realized what had happened, Serge, wearing a makeshift outfit to conceal his identity, attacked them, and quickly subdued them. After rescuing everyone, Serge left the crime-scene. For the next few days, he reflected on what had just transpired. He realized that he could use his powers to fight crime, but in order to do so, he needed to make a costume for himself. Tinkering and improving upon the devices he aqcuired during the heist, and using a few more that he had created on his own, Serge was able to adapt them into a functioning suit. Now, Serge has emerged as the superhero Net Fly. He has performed adequately, but after a few close calls too many, he decided to enroll in Claremont Academy, and further hone his crime-fighting abilities. Personality & Motivation: Serge's desire to help people is matched only by his curiosity and inquisitiveness. Serge spends a lot of his time fine-tuning his suit or practicing his programming skills. When he isn't tinkering with his devices, Serge can often be found socializing with his friends. Powers & Tactics: Net Fly doesn't take hits well, so he prefers a hit-and-run fighting style over duking it out for prolonged periods. Having said that, however, he is perfectly capable of unleashing devastating attacks in close range, as well as take care threats from a distance. If he wishes to avoid fighting, he can opt to hide in the ceilings.

Complications: On the Job Learning: Is learning as he goes. Secret: Identity. 17. Net Fly Bound In Dust Two's Company, Four's Party Venture Into The Forest
18. Ummm... Ok, so, here's the thing... Hed Ra is based on the Mummy build, right?... Isn't that, like, Immune to critical hits as well? Anyways, I'm posting Net Fly's turn now. Changing outfits would take a minute, so instead, Serge will power stunt Quickness 6(x100)[6PP] off of his Enhanced Dexterity. He can use this to change his costume in 0.6 seconds, as a technically free action, but doing so denies him of his Dexterity bonus. Having changed into gear, Net Fly will Run back into the theater, as a move action. As a standard action, he will Charge into Hed Ra, using accurate attack and careful attack on his Sonic fists(+6 atk for a 11 total, -4 def for a 15 total, -2DC Toughness for a 22 minimum). 1d20+11 → [14,11] = (25) :/ Oh, well. It hits. DC23 Toughness(+1 for autofire). Come next turn, Net Fly will spend a Hero point to recover from Fatigue(extra effort). IMPORTANT!!! Next turn, Net Fly will use Refocus, giving him, at the cost of that turn, an initiative of 23! Airon. Please, after that, when Saiph's turn comes, delay a bit(just enough so that I move first, you won't be giving up your initiative to the villains, rest assured ). I have something cooked that just may help improve your aim(and everyone else's, for that matter) by quite a bit(if it works).
19. "Hehehe, thanks, buddy. And I will be counting on you!" Serge said with a slight embarrased look. He had hoped to make his theory as simple as possible, but he was still affraid that he might have bored Subito out of his mind. Needless to say, he was glad to see that his friend paid attention. "Probably, yeah, but hopefully, we won't have to go in blind. Any operating machine in this facility will be connected to the main device. I won't be able to send orders the device from any of those machines, but I may be able to ascertain the device's location. So, I communicate with the machine, we follow the trail, we find the mainframe, I establish a link, and we get our answers."
20. As soon as he heard the computer voice giving the instructions, Net Fly immediately leapt to action. Locating the controls, he examined them first to see if everything is in order. Most of them seemed to operate just fine, although the auto-pilot seemed to be shot. Looking more carefully, Net Fly realised that the wirings were damaged, and he noted that had they been left unchecked, they could cause trouble. He attempted to repair them using anything he could find on hand, and once he succeeded, he felt ready to look at the controls. The controls seemed complicated, but Serge felt confident that he could figure them out. After examining them carefully, he figured them out, and attempted to steer the plane and change it's course. "Dammit! Steering this thing is harder than it looks." he comments, to no-one in particular, and then proceeds to think about his situation. Well, this is bad. I can fix the damages, sure enough, but I'm don't know jack about piloting. Looking more carefully, an idea started forming on Net Fly's mind. Then again, the controls seem more electronic than mechanic in nature. It seems that they are handled through a computer system of some sort... Say... If I can manipulate the computer, perhaps I would be able to directly give orders to the plane, foregoing the use of the buttons. Pushing a button on his mask, near his right temple, Net Fly activated a device in his suit that enabled him to establish a connection with the computer of the aircraft via radio. Combining this with his knowledge on programming, he was finally able to redirect the plane away from collision course. "Oh, yes! It worked! HAHAHAAAAA!" He shouted thriumphantly, pumping his fists on the air, and temporally losing control of the plane, which rocked a bit, prompting him to reestablish connection and focus completely on the task at hand. Whoops. Rookie mistake. At the very least, it seems like this exercise has been successfully completed.
21. Taking 10 on my computers skill, for a total of 22(With the +2).
22. 1d20+5 → [12,5] = (17) Yeah... At least, it passes the check.
23. Ehhhmmmm, as Serge is untrained in Pilot, he cannot use the skill at all. Can you take 10 on an ability check? If so, Serge will do that for a total of 15 on his intelligence check. If not, the roll is: 1d20+5 → [3,5] = (8) ... Yeah, Ghastly.
24. As Serge spends some time inspecting the deeper trappings of the panel, he notes that while the flashing lights are still powered, the actual controls are disconnected from their power source. "Interesting... very interesting..." he mutters, and turns to his friend. "Well, buddy, this has been some fine and well-spent seconds of our lives indeed. This thing, like the rest of the panels over there, are actually disconnected from the electrical grid of this facility, their lights just for show. It appears that everything here is completely automated. Very efficient, to be sure, but I'd guess that there MUST be some sort of mainframe computer from which all the machinery take their time-schedules, and for things like manual overrides. It must be somewhere, if not inside the facility, at the very least, close by. Although..." Serge pondered another possibility. "... now that I think about it, having this place completely remote controlled, would be an interesting, and quite unsettling idea." Going on a bit, he expanded upon his theory. "See, the orders could come from a computer outside this room, perhaps on another country or continent, even, by utilising a network of some sort. Very costly, and more to the point, very risky and intercept-prone, but for someone who can utilize space bending technology, pulling this off successfully wouldn't be that far off of a possibility(In fact, it may actually prove simpler). The unsettling part would be that whoever controls this place could know of our arrival, and spy on our movements, even as we speak." Taking a short break to catch his breath, he added "There would still be a need for a physical interpreter, a machine that receives orders and translates them into readable data for each machine, and receives feedback that it forwards back to the remote computer, but locating that machine would be a lot harder than finding a computer... Then again..." After giving this some more thought, Serge said to Subito, making sure to give more emphasis to his following words "If I could find a part of this intra-network, I could try to access it, and see where the data flows. It could be worth a shot, give us a more detailed idea about this place. What do you think, bro?" he asked his classmate.
25. Let's see... If Net Fly isn't close to the controls, he rushes with his speed(250mph) Notice check, in case anything 'funny' catches his eye: 1d20+5 → [19,5] = (24) If the controls are rigged in any way, Net Fly will attempt to disable the traps by taking 20 on his Disable Device skill, for a total of 30. If he can't, he takes 10. Net Fly doesn't have time, so he'll only take 10 on Knowledge[Technology], for a total of 20, to see what he can understand about the aircraft he's in. He can't pilot to save his life(literally. and the lives of everyone else on the planet, of course), so he will take 10 on Computers to try and engage some autopilot(if it can prevent the aircraft from crashing), or otherwise override the manual controls and guide the plane through it's computers. Net Fly's Suit has Datalink that would allow him to establish communication with the computer even if it lacks an actual interface, using Radio as a medium, and if there's trouble in the system that can't be taken care of normally(Computers), he can enter Cyberspace to deal with it, up-close-and-personal-like. If there's any hardware problem that he finds, he will take 20 on Craft[Electronics], for a total of 30, improvising tools on the way, in order to repair the problem. If he can't(time or pressure, for example), he will take 10 instead.
