GM Post The enchanted mutt did as commanded, and lunged at what it thought was its nearest enemy, only barely missing the other Hellhound. The Hellhounds from the outside persisted with their fire, unable to determine whether they had any effect on their intended target, or if they did hit their intended target at all. Somehow they managed to land on Pitch, but she was once again proven to be immune to their unholy breath of fire. The two demonic wolves at her feet tried lunging at her, and one of them struck true, finding his foe's current location. Heeeeere they coooooooooome! Tazel, having regained some part of his former holistic self, warned Pitch, as the elephants that were stampeding just outside her visual field until a few moments ago, were now visibly gainning ground. Wait a minute, elephants? Sure, they've got the tusks, alright, and the general stature, but these looked off... for one, they looked bipedal. For another they seemed to be adorned in golden rings, bracelets, and purple garb. Also... is that TWO PROBOSCES?!

Winged Hellhounds The two remaining Hellhounds next to Pitch will combine attack their bites. The three Hellhounds outside the smoke will combine attack their Shadow Flame. Concealment Rolls vs DC11 (total Concealment): 5#1d20 18 8 20 13 15 4 confirms, let's see which of those hit. Pitch is immune to hellfire (remember, the three Hellhounds outside can't see for naught!) Well, even on a 20, the opposed check would be at 24, so it's an autopass! I do have to note that, once the smoke dissipates, Temperance would be able to see Meatheral floating above her, looking like a man-shaped cloud, with some smoke lingering around him.

We've been dispatched to your escort, ambassadors, for the express purpose of ensuring that no harm comes to you or the people of the Station. Please rest assured that the Praetorians will do everthing in their hand to see that the talks with the Coalition representatives will take place, and that for the entire duration of your stay in this system, the sanctity of your diplomatic immunity will be respected, so long as you don't abuse it." The implication behind her words was crystal clear; the Praetorians would play nice, so long as the Khanate ambassadors returned the favor. Otherwise, all hell would break loose.

Would your character be willing/able/wanting to travel to a technology expo and if so how far? -Serge (Net Fly) is currently enrolled in Freedom City's Hanover Institute of Technology to study Computer Sciences. He'd definitely be willing to travel aboard to a tech expo, especially a prestigious/well advertised one. Would you be interested in a bit of houseruling mechanics for something that rarely comes up? -As long as said houseruling is consistent, i've no problem with that! Besides, it's the GM's job to abjudicate stuff when the rules are being inadequate or unwieldy And most importantly, are you OK with rubber science because me am not the smarts. -Rubber science is the comicbook default, even at its most speculative. Having said that, I'm pretty confident myself on my ability to BS some legit-sounding science stuff, so don't hesitate to ask me to work with you on whatever you have in mind! At the very least, I could provide some inspiration.

The Distracted Hellhounds are well beyond Pitch's melee reach. Perhaps you meant the -5 Defense Hellhound, though? And the attack is enough to OHKO it As for the enthralled Hellhound... Concealment Rolls vs DC11 (total Concealment): 1d20 14 Attack roll: 1d20+5 9 Misses its foe!

GM Post As the hellhound fell under Pitch's command, the other three hellhounds lunged at her general direction once more, only one got an accurate ping on her location, and even then, it still missed her by a mile. Meanwhile the Hellhounds that had been sitting this fight till now, decided that now was a good time to give Pitch a taste of their hell-bound flames. The greenish fluid that was dripping from their mouths slowly formed into a fiery substance that they spat at the encompassing smokescreen. Pitch felt two of their hot breaths landing on her, but her innate immunity to such hellish effects meant that she might as well have been hit by a light shower. Interestingly enough, Pitch noticed that a third shadow breath hit a stray Hellhound, but the mutt seemed no worse for wear than she had...

However, as the flames are infernal, they don't work on Pitch. Failing to hit Pitch with the flame, one of the Hellhounds hits another of the Hellhounds near Pitch, but it is also immune to the shadow flame. The three Hellhounds that spat shadow flame are Distracted. So, using All Out Attack for the single bite that succeeded... "Jewel thief? And they decided to crash this place, huh? How unlucky for them!" Meatheral boasted, mere moments before the Fowlerings dropped the smoke bombs. "Hey, what are you guys up to n-" Before he could finish, Meatheral found himself engulfed in the smokescreen, and his vision going with that. "Wha-kfff, kfff, kfff! -at is th- kfff, kffu, -is stuff! Kfff, kfff!" Meatheral hated being in the dark, as much as the next guy. But inhaling the smoke was much worse for his currently hypothetical lungs. While it was true that he required very little in the way of breathing, during his dispersed state, he needed to filter clear air trhough his body's molecules. But now smoke molecules were fusing with his own, and that meant that his dispersed state were no longer dispersed enough to be invisible. "This is bad! Kfff, kfff, lemme see if - kfff - I can do something to - kfff, kfff - deal with this smoke..." He told Temperance, and at once started generating a powerful windstorm, aimed towards the ceiling. He hoped that the currents would attract the smoke and flush it upwards before dispersing it completely, but he was still subconciously affraid of letting the wind go out of control and harm the bystenders, and thus, was holding back. "Tsk... kff, harder than... I thought..." He said, as he kept his concentration on maintaining the tornado.

"Always have to do it the hard way..." Vyrdnaya muttered, as she sidestepped the hulking Broan pirate. "You don't quite get it, do you?" She spoke in a menacing tone to the Broan. "My head is the least of your worries. Look around you, do you see your own ship?" She put her hands on the floor, and started melding it to her will, transforming the nearby mechanical matter. "This ship is made of metal and electronics. And it is mine to command!" She rapidly enveloped the brutish alien thug in a cell of her making, using the materials of the bridge itself. "As long as I am aboard this ship, this ship is but an extension of my will. It is my hammer. My long arm of the Praetorian law. And it is here to put you where you belong, in a holding cell. It is your own ship that you're currently fighting against! " Then, she created a 10ft high wall between herself and the other Broan, who seemed to be of a hostile mind as well. "If you think you can win against your own ship, you are welcome to try. Me? I'm not holding my breath on it."

GM Post These kind of demons trully were a dime a dozen, for an expert of Pitch's caliber. She didn't need much effort to guide her Cantos Stick down like the wrath of god on them, and the unholy beast could only yelp like a puppy being run over by a truck, as it got whacked to the ground. A moment later, it burned its essense as it lied lifelessly. The other Hellhounds were still in the blind, but Pitch hadn't really put much effort into relocating stealthily, so they were able to hazard a guess at their would-be prey's whereabouts, and lounge at her. ... At least, that was their intent, as only one managed to attack to her general area, and it ended up flying by 5 inches next to her. The shaking of the earth was getting more intense, as whatever was rampaging was getting closer by, while Billy had managed to put about 200 feet between himself and Carmen's battleground.
