  1. Ah, right. I'll edit.
  2. "Or two." Memorial simply flew forwards, her earlier moments of anger replaced by a cold rage. Two drones to go- here, at least. She'd need to head out to space pretty soon to take care of the remaining drones, most likely. "But for now..." She grabbed the face of one of the two remaining drones on the Aphelion, her palm glowing for a moment before she discharged her laser directly into its head. Letting the remains drop, she spoke up. "Okay, everyone, focus fire on the drone on the left, I'll take care of the last one! Now!"
  3. Stronghold paused for a while. Okay. Ember Psion staring her down. That was a thing. She really didn't have good luck with established... anythings, did she? Got knocked out by a flying axe from a flunky of Medea, got... actually, the whole Collective thing worked out, got a friend from that. So. What to say, what to say. Preferably something that didn't end up with an angry possibly crazy (scratch that, just crazy) trying to burn her. "Um... listen, we should probably check the plane. Some of your family's in there, some of them might be hurt, and if they are, they're going to need help. I'm not interested in fighting or anything, not now."
  4. Do I need to roll to hit for these guys, or would taking 10 be fine? EDIT: Question answered in chat, so. Memorial's taking a single Power Attack trade-off to bring her Accuracy down one and raise the Toughness DC by one. I... think that still hits fine.

    All in hand

Stronghold shrugged. "Well, it's... part of what we do, right?" She noticed the chestplate, frowning slightly. Something... didn't seem entirely right here. That was an AEGIS symbol, wasn't it? She... must've stolen it, then. Or managed to get it some way and misused it. Haukea hated not knowing everything that was going on, it always caused mistakes and misunderstandings and made things really difficult to deal with. "Anyway, if you need help getting her to a-" And then the tug. And this time... her ring disappeared. "What?" Her costume started to melt away, leaving her in jeans and a t-shirt. Defenceless- or at least, a lot more so. And no longer maintaining Argonaut's bonds, which dissolved as well.
  6. ...ahhahahaha Stronghold's being completely clueless on this thread. 1d20+3=4 And she's just failed the save. 1d20+8=15
  7. ...I'm... tempted with Stronghold. I'm not entirely sure how to justify her for this, though.
  8. I sense a plooooooooot...
  9. Feel free to have a go at any of my characters if you like.
  10. So. Yes. Right. One week turned out to be more like two weeks. *urgh* That is mostly up to me being distracted.
  11. Stronghold's up for both threads!
  12. Memorial turned, noticing the last drone trying to... shock, or something... her ally and friend. And she noticed the sounds of battle. One thing at a time. The cyborg soared over, her feet planting on the deck for the first time in the fight as her fist clenched. "You. Get away from my friend." And her fist slammed through the drone's skull, crushing metal and bringing a final mercy to the drone. "Em, you okay?" She looked around. "All right, everyone. Looks like there's some fighting we missed, so we need to go help them out. I'll take point, everyone get ready!"
  13. Memorial will try to punch the head off the Communion drone attacking Emily- so they can investigate together. She'll take 10 to do so.
  14. I will be away from Sydney for the week starting Boxing Day! Internet access may or may not happen. Just so you guys are all aware.
  15. Sorry, do you mean roll a Strength check vs DC 40, or...
  16. Stronghold blinked as the monster actually cracked her bonds. "Okay, that's... impressive. Let's see how you handle..." After a second of thinking, Stronghold started humming a tune as the Ring shone once more, shackles of orange energy slamming around the creature's limbs- and then, attatching to chains, which finally, she drove into the floor with massive stakes of energy. The chains pulled tight, and the creature was pulled to the floor. Immobile. "This." Haukea turned, the Hawaiian superhero smiling at the henchmen. "Now that Big and Tough here's tied down... who's next?"
  17. Rolling Notice for Vector: 1d20+4=16
  18. Haruko quickly changed into a pair of jeans and t-shirt- a great deal more casually than she'd normally pick her outfits- taking the offered windbreaker. "Thank you. Let us go see what this is about, hmm?" As they walked outside, the Japanese girl looked around. Seeing the students gathered, she motioned to Casey. "Over there." Her hand lit up, bright enough to read by, as she walked over to the gathered students, speaking up. "Are you all out for the same reason we are?"
  19. Catherine didn't, in fact, have a display prepared, as she made her way over to the three other heroes. A close eye would notice that she wasn't moving her wheelchair by pushing the wheels- instead, as her hands lightly touched the wheels, they just moved. She smiled as she came to a stop besides them. "Good to see you all again. Steve, Yves. And it's a pleasure to meet you too, Miss..." After getting Wander's name, Catherine wheeled her way over to the table, where her laptop was already set up. After stopping her wheelchair, she touched a button on the seat rest, projecting a map of Darwin onto the clearest wall. "There's a couple of things I'd like to go over... but the first thing I thought would be to give you an update on what exactly's been happening. And get some information." As she typed onto her laptop, several red spots appeared on the map, with the biggest one being located at the location of Evolution on Gardiner. "There's been a lot of hard questions asked about how, exactly, Newman slipped under the radar. Or... well, more like got ignored. The answer seems to be simply that..." She sighed. "No one thought he was actually serious about allegiance to the Terminus. He used the symbols, but... everyone who actually considered the idea ended up concluding that an actual infiltrator from the Terminus would... be more subtle. Not call themselves the Omega Boss of all things. And there's the fact that we didn't get hit nearly as hard by either Terminus invasion as Freedom City did. I suspect that if he'd tried that trick in Freedom City, people would have gone after him with a lot more focus on general principle." She sighed. "However it happened, we almost had Darwin destroyed. Again."
  20. Memorial started to grin. "A very, very good job on the implants." That must've been some kind of stunning shock. Or something intended to paralyze her, perhaps. Something that would work perfectly well on an organic target, one that still had pure muscles and flesh and nerves. None of which exactly applied to Kyla. And hadn't for a very long while. Otherwise, she couldn't have lasted for so long, floating in the Black. Communications ran down augmented pathways, enhanced muscles bolstered her strength as she grabbed onto the hand on her shoulder. "Go in peace." And a fist, reinforced to be as strong as steel, slammed through the head of the drone. Now, to help out their new allies.
  21. Well, Memorial's taking 10 (FINALLY I REMEMBER I CAN DO THAT) to punch the drone who just tried their very ineffective attack.

    All in hand

Stronghold pulled her hand away, frowning. Something... was up. "Yeah, it's pretty useful." As she started to walk towards the agent, she looked over at the battlesuit-wearer. "Who is she, anyway? Heck, why's she here, of all places? Doesn't make much sense, this is a pretty urban area. No real things for a supervillain to steal. I mean, they'd be going for banks, stuff like that, right?" She didn't mention the spark of power for now. Looked like... maybe a third party was interested in it. Fourth party, whatever, it didn't matter. "Either way, glad to be of help. Um. Something's pretty funny, I guess, but I think I'm missing the joke?"
  23. Well, first she'll roll Sense Motive, what happens next depends on the result. 1d20+3=9 ...whelp.
  24. ... *whacks head against wall at keeping forgetting that* Sorry, it's been... a busy day with something like 4 hours of sleep.
  25. Well, she'll respond in kind- a punch. 1d20+10=13 (Sorry about that.)
