Free from the restrictions of formal military membership she wears her hair long with a shaved undercut along the sides and back. The white locks fall in a graceful arc over one side fading from her natural brilliant white through soft lavender to a deep violet at the tips. On duty she wears a flight suit or more often her full scout armor. When off duty she dresses for the occasion though nearly always with slightly more toned skin on display than would be modest. Her deep amethyst eyes glint with a hint of mischief and she wears an easy smile and friendly laugh at ease in large or small groups. History: The mining colony orbiting the gas giant of Relsys was perhaps not the easiest place to raise a child and particularly after her brother was taken in by a core world ascetic order Fa'Rua grew restless and acted out. Her parents were somewhat despairing as she snuck out to wander the docking bays and old mining warens picking up all she could of the pilots tips and tricks before applying them to breakneck drone races in the abandoned mines below the colony. Despite her wild streak she made good marks in the colony schools and avoided the worst the drifters and spacers had to offer, more than could be said of some of her more circumspect peers. When she was old enough she surprised near everyone by signing up for the Navy and even managing to earn a place in the academy. She had said it was the fastest ticket off this rock but the truth was she knew she'd never be satisfied hauling bulk freighters around the fringe. She wanted more. Military discipline proved less an impediment than she expected and the order and schedule even managed for a time to gentle her, well as much as a top pilot school trainee might be gentled. She earned her wings shortly before the incursion and climbed the ranks in engagements against the Communion throughout Lor space. She earned a reputation for a certain reckless streak that endeared her of her peers and outraged her superiors as well as her call sign Infinity, the number of demerits a superior officer promised at one point in her career. Not that they could afford not to have her flying with a war for hte galaxies survival on the line. That became less true once the incursion came to an end. Knowing she'd risk being busted to a shuttle pilot in the core worlds if she didn't tow the line she did hte only reasonable thing and quit to join the newly formed colonial Scout corps searching the unexplored regions for new worlds and new allies. She was joined by her twin brother their psychic bond just as strong if not stronger as when he'd left. While they may be a bit of an odd couple at first glance they complement each others strengths and cover each other's weaknesses as loath as either is to admit it. Personality & Motivation: Despite chafing under the rules of military life Infinity retains a deep respect for those serving and loyalty for them and the republic. She finds the scout corps a way to serve while still having the freedoms she treasures. She is a fiercely loyal companion and friend if dryly sarcastic and with a healthy ego to match. She's a thrill seeker and adrenaline junkie modding her ship for speed and tooks well outside the norm for the STR class scouts. She approaches all things in life with much the same gusto as flight and if she stayed in one place long enough would like as not earn a reputation deserved or no. Powers & Tactics: In a fight Infinity relies on her military training and the scout corps equipment a pulse rifle and armored environmental suit. She will use the suits mobility to position herself where she can apply the maximum pressure with minimal exposure. In both flight and combat she takes full advantage of her unique spatial senses adding to her maneuverability with exacting precision. She is a bit more circumspect about her full space folding abilities and still works to integrate them into her fighting style. Power Descriptions: Her rifle is a standard issue sturdy semi automatic pulse rifle much as most scouts are issued. She has made some minor customizations herself as well of course. Her suit is a standard armored environmental suit military surplus in fact. It's not as heavily armored as a full power suit certainly but it can handle most small arms and violent besties they might encounter in their explorations. Her teleportation is expressed with a visible warping of spacetime around her such that both places more moment overlay and when space unwinds she'll be at her destination. Complications: Fly Casual: Fa'Rua is technically in the service of the Colonial exploration corps. As such she and her brother are after a manner of speaking representatives of the Lor Republic and their mandate is focused on exploration and outreach. This can limit their activities without some finessing of reports. (Gain HP when orders and regulations get in the way or must be broken with deleterious consequence.) I don't have people, I'm alone: Fa'Rua can not become Empyrean without being in contact with her brother the cosmic entity being bound to them jointly. (Gain HP when separation or being grappled/snared etc keeps Infinity from becoming Empyrean) I made a lot of special modifications myself: Modified jump drive alt power only functions when piloting the Star Hopper with its custom jump drive; in any other vehicle Fa'Rua can't take full advantage of her spacial warp abilities. It's Not My Fault: Infinity has made some custom changes to her ships drive systems. The biggest being implementing an experimental jump drive to integrate with her natural space folding powers. Outside of this custom ship or potentially another similarly outfitted she can't augment a ship to perform space fold maneuvers. Worse her system is experimental and thus can fail at critical moments or require recharging (Gain HP when the space fold system malfunctions or is otherwise unavailable in a critical moment.) You know, sometimes I amaze even myself: Infinity is a bit brash and competitive particularly when it comes to her skills as a pilot or her ship. (Gain HP when a challenge to her skills or ship derails the sensible path.)
