Cool Homosapien Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 (edited) Of course, everyone in the thread is in the area when this happens. You can place yourself anywhere within sight of it. Edited December 28, 2017 by Cool Homosapien

Curious Key Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 Forgive the double-post, but I just realized I had a question. How does this scene look for people with knowledge ranks in Cosmology? Do we know roughly what we're looking at?

Knowledge (Cosmology): Covers knowledge of extradimensional matters: the Cosmic Coil, the Terminus, parallel dimensions/realities, and so on. Roughly speaking, it's the Knowledge skill for places (and beings from places) you'd need Super-Movement (Dimensional) to reach. I think it means the dimension itself, not the people? I maybe wrong. That said, you know instinctively that they are not from around these parts, DC10.
Curious Key Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 (edited) That verdict makes sense to me. 23. Oh, she knows. Edited December 27, 2017 by Curious Key
Cool Homosapien Posted December 28, 2017 Author Posted December 28, 2017 (edited) Supercape, make a will save before you answer. Curious Key, please describe something personal missing from your person after the thief is finished talking to Warp. If you want a hero point, have her not notice it. Edited December 28, 2017 by Cool Homosapien
Curious Key Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 (edited) Hmm, that's a toughy, she has a dimensional pocket for a reason . . . Let's say she still had her tablet on her person. It's what's listed in the book as a PDA. It's a silver model, not exactly top of the line but it does its job. She has some personal information stored on it, schedules, reminders, maybe some files from her work at ASTRO in EC. Whatever makes the plot more interesting. And I'm gonna not make a notice roll and take that hero point. ;3 Edited December 28, 2017 by Curious Key
Cool Homosapien Posted December 28, 2017 Author Posted December 28, 2017 Shrike gets a HP. Hysti has prepared for magic readers. It's a needed precaution from her world. Shrike is a sidekick you say?! I think not having HP in a game where HP is one of the main mechanics is sour. Now if Grimalkin were there, I'd say so, but she's not!
Supercape Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 Will Save vs ?: 1d20+12 18 any effect from that?
Cool Homosapien Posted December 28, 2017 Author Posted December 28, 2017 You pass. Mr Murk feel something squishy and chaotic in his head as he talks to Hysti. But it goes away as Barron notes that Murk is blind.
Cool Homosapien Posted December 29, 2017 Author Posted December 29, 2017 (edited) Shrike can have a hero point and trust everything Hysti says. Or DC 18 Will save. In hindsight i should have given Mr Murk the same deal. Sorry Supercape! PS this is not mind control. Shrike would still have her own thoughts. She would just have those thoughts trust Hysti. Heritage Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 (edited) Nah, I'll go for it for now; it will make it far more dramatic when she throws of the shackles later. Edited December 29, 2017 by Heritage
Curious Key Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Hey, if we're going to split the part, can we assume that our characters are organizing a rendezvous? Should I make a little note about her asking murk or queen for a place to be next?
Cool Homosapien Posted December 30, 2017 Author Posted December 30, 2017 Right, I expected you guys to talk about it.
EternalPhoenix Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 All right, so how do we want to do this?
Heritage Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 (edited) Do we want to completely split the party, or form two teams? Queenie's as a rendezvous point sounds like a good idea. EDIT: And yes, Shrike will discuss this in my next post. Edited December 31, 2017 by Heritage
Supercape Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 I am happy however we do it; really the important thing is that the GM is happy!
Cool Homosapien Posted January 1, 2018 Author Posted January 1, 2018 If you do split up, Hysti is probably the only one who would want Shrike to herself. Warp is taking Windleaf to somewhere nature-y. Doesn't have to be alone. Queenie is taking Gorth for food and drinks. Another not alone. Barron could go anywhere. I suggested a spree right under Mr Murk's nose, but going with Windleaf or Gorth is also acceptable.
Cool Homosapien Posted January 1, 2018 Author Posted January 1, 2018 The only one I didn't move along was Warp and Windleaf, as it would be me controlling Warp to do so.
Heritage Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 (edited) Is it okay if Grim makes a short guest appearance here? I feel it would very hard to not have her at least pop in. EdIT: may be able to avoid a physical appearance, at least. Edited January 2, 2018 by Heritage
Cool Homosapien Posted January 2, 2018 Author Posted January 2, 2018 We've discussed than answer to this question in Discord. Key? Phoenix?
