Sandman XI Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Can I put Improved Critical as a power feat on an array?
Veiled Malice Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Yes. It's just like any other feat, which means that if it makes sense, you can put it in an array slot.
Sandman XI Posted July 17, 2008 Author Posted July 17, 2008 Is Precise limited to two ranks? Meaning, if I have two ranks of it, is the guy with Elusive Target is in the same boat as the guy without it or do I have to get more to effect the Elusive Target?
Dr Archeville Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 A second rank of Precise Shot completely negates the penalty for the Elusive Target feat. So, yeah, they'd be in the same boat as someone without Elusive Target.
Sandman XI Posted July 17, 2008 Author Posted July 17, 2008 If my array was Dynamic, could I do something like Stun 7/Confuse 7 with Split Attack?
Geez3r Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I think I know what he's talking about. If his array was dynamic then he could have 2 (or more) powers active at the same time. He's asking if 2 such of these powers were in the array could he in effect hit someone with a stun and another person with confuse, using split attack. From my understanding of both the question and the rules (both of which are a little hazy) I would say no.
Dr Archeville Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I'd also say No, because Split Attack applies to a specific power/effect, not an Array.
Sandman XI Posted July 19, 2008 Author Posted July 19, 2008 If I buy Super-Senses as an Alternate Power for Wesley's array would I have 14 points to spend or 47? Semi-related, If I buy Super-Senses under one Alternate Power could I activate them separately or would they all turn on when I activate the Alternate Power?
Dr Archeville Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 APs are based on the points, not ranks. You could use 'em separately (effectively, just using the specific ranks for those specific senses). Unless you had the Full Power drawback, in which case you could only use either all of them or none of them at once.
Sandman XI Posted July 19, 2008 Author Posted July 19, 2008 Just to make sure you know what I mean I was talking something like so: AP: Super-Senses (Danger Sense (sight), Darkvision, Direction Sense, Distance Sense, Infravision, Low-Light Vision, Time Sense, Track, Ultravision, X-Ray Vision, et cetera) Now when I activate this, does everything go on or can I pick and choose?
Heridfel Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 All Super-Senses are Continuous in nature. You can choose to activate any of them as you wish when you switch to the AP, and change out which ones are in use on your turn.
