golentan
I'm guessing I know the answer to this already, but can I use the Holding Back drawback? It's the one from hero high where under extremely stressful circumstances and if the dice favor you you gain 2, 4, or 6 temporary power levels (depending on the intensity of the drawback) at the cost of some terrible price to your character. Dr Archeville
For what sort of character? Link to comment
golentan
A character who has been possessed by an avatar of death. Basically a modified PL 6 martial artist whose gaze drains constitution. He's learned to hold his powers in check, but in times of great stress he can embrace them and radically boost the power of his combat skills and death effects, which are both granted by the spirit possessing him. Veiled Malice
I'm not sure if we would approve this, as it does seem that you're being rewarded for taking a drawback. Despite the fact that something bad does happen to your character, inevitably, you have to realize that it's not really a drawback if something equally good (if not far more beneficial) happens to them at the same time. I doubt we'd allow it, but it's something that should be discussed. Link to comment
golentan
I figured you wouldn't allow it, but it never hurts to ask. Thank you. Link to comment
