Avenger Assembled Posted August 25, 2018 Posted August 25, 2018 Here you go, @SpicyWaffle and @Supercape. Cape, give me a Knowledge (Art) check for some of the stuff you find down there!
Supercape Posted August 25, 2018 Posted August 25, 2018 Know (Art): 1d20+8 16 Now theres a skill that doesn't get much action. I approve!
Avenger Assembled Posted August 26, 2018 Author Posted August 26, 2018 If you want to use your Create Object to make something to pry the door open, SC, I wouldn't be adverse to it! But it's up to you how you want to proceed.
Avenger Assembled Posted August 28, 2018 Author Posted August 28, 2018 Let's see another Art check and a Business check, Cape.
Supercape Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 If it's ok (as no imminent danger) I think best to take ten here. Which would make 18 for art and 30 for business
Avenger Assembled Posted August 30, 2018 Author Posted August 30, 2018 The statue is definitely a Hindu deity - though not one he immediately recognizes. That 30 deserves a good reward - that bank no longer exists! It merged with a big New York City chain some thirty years ago; they even put in new stonework in their Freedom City headquarters to reflect its absence. Diamondlight _does_ remember there was a high-profile robbery in that bank's history in the early 1960s; the vault and a major cash shipment was plundered by a supervillain called the Bee-Keeper. No one ever found out where he hid the loot.
Supercape Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 I think we are good to progress, @Avenger Assembled
SpicyWaffle Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 I think Cape and I are in agreement that we're ready to move on when you're ready, Avenger!
Avenger Assembled Posted September 12, 2018 Author Posted September 12, 2018 Give me either an Arcane Lore or a Knowledge (Theology) check, @SpicyWaffle - typically this would be a hard one for Baxter but the DC isn't that high. @Supercape, let's call this one a Civics check!
SpicyWaffle Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Knowledge (Theology) it is then! Knowledge (Theology) +2 Check = 1d20+2: 14 [1d20=12]
Avenger Assembled Posted September 12, 2018 Author Posted September 12, 2018 This is Bhramari - the Hindu goddess of BEES.
Avenger Assembled Posted September 13, 2018 Author Posted September 13, 2018 It seems a little weird that an ancient Hindu goddess would speak with a Received Pronunciation accent, @Supercape
Avenger Assembled Posted September 18, 2018 Author Posted September 18, 2018 Looks like initiative time, campers!
SpicyWaffle Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 Initiative Check = 1d20+7: 18 [1d20=11]
Avenger Assembled Posted September 21, 2018 Author Posted September 21, 2018 Sorry, @Supercapeand @SpicyWaffle, the new job is really taking a lot out of me! Bee-Keeper: 18 The Lady: 17 Diamondlight: 17 @SpicyWaffle, you're up first.
