You'll have to ask the right questions, make the right decisions, and roll the right checks. Because I'm not going to ask for any. Your opposition is composed of highly skilled professional criminals, and they'll be behaving as such. Their crime has been planned to completely avoid anybody even knowing something has happened until they are well away. It is entirely up to you to disabuse them of that plan. Unless you stumble around in the dark too much, of course. Can't have that. I will, however, give you this much. The Nova Technologies building is five stories tall. The lobby is, well, a lobby. Security desk, cafeteria to the left as one enters, elevators to the right. The security desk is manned, but he's just a rent-a-cop.

Ill quickly roll (two full actions) knowledge Current Events and knowledge Streetwise to see if she has happened upon any useful recent rumours or infocmation on Nova Corp Knowledge Rolls: 2#1d20+7 26 15 well, might get a hit with that nice Current Event rolls, maybe!

Auto 27 And then is she fast enough with Rapid 3 on her ESP to take 20 on the notice check on scanning the building to make sure she spots anything for the others? ESP 8 (Radio Sense; 2000 mile, Feats: Subtle, Rapid 3 x1000)

You are correct, Streetwise won't give you anything you don't already know (they're shady and hire folks who are sometimes outright criminals). Current Events, on the other hand... So far this person has given them nothing but "No, thanks" in reply (when said person even bothers to reply), but there are companies (much like Nova Tech) who wouldn't take no for an answer. Said specialist is world class is their field, and any corp would be lucky to have them on the payroll. Who is it? Nobody's talking to reporters on that one, but it is rumored that they scored a major coup a few months ago, and this is how their skills became widly known. This is odd, as employees do manage to leave from time to time yet not remember anything somehow. It's likely that only their execs have the whole picture. There are some rumors circulating through that a big new project is underway in the R&D department. According to sources who state and deny that they've spoken in the same breath, Nova Tech has recently "procured" the services of one Dr. Tomas Rojero. One of the top computer science experts on the planet, he disappeared from his Silicon Valley employer Skyline Consulting a few months ago. He was seen by said sources in the Nova Tech (Freedom City branch) cafeteria less than a week ago, looking like he hadn't seen the sun in a while. Skyline is equally rumored to be anxious to have him back with them, and much like their rival they're likely to bend the law in order to get their way. What is a bit unexpected is that there's radio proofing covering a lot of area between the first floor and the basement and the sub basements and fifth floor are completely sealed off. From the first floor to the fourth is empty but for what appears to be cleaning staff and the odd security guard.

Seeing if X Ray vision (or, if applicable, IR vision or the remotely possible UV vision) picks up anything. I guess thats a search roll, taking 10 to get a 21 result.

Apparently three execs are working late tonight. Corner office and two sides. The side offices simply have two people in them. One is engaged in work activities, with one person behind the desk and one seated nearby. In the other, the stated two people are apparently engaging in vigorous reproductive activities on the desk. The corner office has three people inside. They are also engaging in work activities. One person is behind a desk large enough to land a plane on, the second is pacing and gesturing vigorously, and the last is seated nearby.

Whatever her training is, it doesn't match most of the rest of the security staff. Her body language and general attitude is just too different to have been through a training academy. She isn't nervous or anything like that. In fact aside from the imminent call of nature she's having a happy evening. All Notice will give you are the tattoos poking up from her collar, and the obvious radio on her belt. Also the matching earpiece in her ear.
