Amelia
Sorry if it wasn't clear, but Strix wasn't heading down to the camera room. He was creeping upstairs to whatever's being guarded. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Does she have time to take 10 or 20 with Quickness 5, @RocketLord? She'll do either one of those, getting a 28 or 18 respectively. Link to comment
RocketLord
@Avenger Assembled Time to take 10! If you do so, read the spoiler. There seems to be some black liquid flowing from all of the books in the room, towards the floor. Link to comment
RocketLord
@GrumblefloofI've updated my IC post with a bit for Mr. Strix heading to the room. If you decide to not interact with the guards, and they haven't seen you so that's entirely up to you, you can get to the room at the end of your post, given Mr. Strix's speed. Link to comment
Supercape
Just checking if the security guard is a minion, Rocket? If so, Ronin will take 10 to grapple the security guard Link to comment
Amelia
Strix will stay in mist form, cling to the ceiling, and follow just behind/above the guards until they reach Lady Horus. Then he'll drop down behind them, swap from mist form to solid-with-Autofire form, and start wailing on them. All-Out Attack for +/-2, Attack +10, take 10 if they're minions, DC23 (+1 per 2 points over their Defense DC) Toughness for them, Takedown Attack 2. Link to comment
RocketLord
@Supercape Yes, he is. And yeah, that succeeds, he can't reach that save. @Grumblefloof That hit, Toughness rolls: 3#1d20+4 = 18, 5, 10, you take them all down. And as suggested in the chat, since Lady Horus' move activates one of your weaknesses, DC20 Emotion (Fear) save, and a HP for Mr. Strix. Edited January 11, 2019 by RocketLord Link to comment
Amelia
Per our Discord conversation, the sight of Lady Horus's ankh inflicts an Emotion Control (Fear) effect on Mister Strix with a power rank equal to her Power Level. Will save (DC20): 27. Booyah. Link to comment
Supercape
Ronin is going to have a look to see if the cameras reveal anything, but then move to disable them and if possible scrub the drives (the priority being the first). Ideally he would like to loop the cameras so they feed unremarkable blankness, and make sure his tampering is not detectable. As he is in a rush, rolling. Im not sure which skills you want so rolling all three! Craft Electronics: 1d20+11 20 Computers: 1d20+7 24 and taking 10 on disable device (skill mastery) for a 25 result. Nice stuff! Link to comment
RocketLord
I'd say Computers work for this, and that would be a pass, then. Giving Tiff a chance to post, then GM post coming. Link to comment
Amelia
So @RocketLord, what's going on with the floor under Lady Horus and Mister Strix? Figured I should check in with that before another IC post. Link to comment
RocketLord
@Grumblefloof The black liquid is spreading quickly over the floor, but it has not quite reached Lady Horus and Mister Strix yet. It seems like it is coming from the books that fell to the floor. And IC post coming up for me having missed the floor smash attempt! Edited January 18, 2019 by RocketLord Link to comment
RocketLord
@Grumblefloof, @Avenger Assembled: Can I get a DC16 Reflex Save for avoiding the dripping liquid? Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Reflex vs 16: http://orokos.com/roll/695533 = 14 Well that's embarassing - I'll spend an HP and pass automatically! Link to comment
RocketLord
Both of you feel free to dodge the falling liquid, then Link to comment
RocketLord
And @Tiffany Korta: Dr. Thorne can sense that the liquid is pretty clearly arcane in nature. Now that you are close by, it is changing direction to move towards you, while still moving into the hole in the floor as well. There just seem to be more and more of it, but it is moving at a pace where everyone should still be able to move away from it, without getting caught. Link to comment

RocketLord
Results: You once read about a similar incident in Germany in the late 19th century, where all written texts was changed drastically, and there were reports of rivers of ink flowing through the streets. Anyone touched by the ink would start to display strange, shifting tattoos all over their body and behaved oddly, as if they were not themselves, most turning violent against those not affected by the ink. The incident lasted for a few days, then ended. And in no relation to the spoiler at all: Do any of your characters have tattoos? Link to comment
Supercape
Yep! "He has a US army tattoo on his right arm and a tattoo of a Samurai on his left" Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Wadjet has a tattoo on her neck that says "Nunca más" Link to comment
Tiffany Korta
Rosa's is tattoo free but Liam defiantly has one or two. Link to comment
Amelia
@RocketLord please clarify: The ink has shown that it's independently mobile, but has it shown any ability to defy gravity? Has it moved up any walls, or just down? It's pouring through the hole in the floor of the top room down to the level below, but is it also sliding down through the hole and along the ceiling of the lower room where Strix is currently Spider-Manning? Avenger Assembled
I'll hold off till we get that info too Link to comment
