Tarrakhash Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Chromium's silver head nodded, a small smile exposing equally silver teeth,"Wonderful, you're all about justice that's excellent as you are responsible for all the people hurt in your explosions. I'm assuming you'll be paying for their hospital bills and other expenses? Or are you just like the big corporation happy to grind the little people under your feet to achieve your goal? That's a most fantastic set of irony. You injuring the helpless just as much as the people you 'stand' against....so whose going to bring the Anarchy against you?" He heard the chanting and looked down the side of the dune,"Ahhh, looks like it might be coming to swallow you up next. That's the thing about Anarchy...it can't be controlled. Ready to surrender yourself to the authorities?" He smirked, clearly expecting them to say no.
Supercape Posted April 6, 2019 Author Posted April 6, 2019 GM "Pfah! Less people hurt in these explosions than the filth this building produced!" retorted Lady Key. "Did we kill anybody? No, I think not. All carefully planned!" she said proudly. "Anarchy should not be controlled!" roared Sir Prize. He now hefted his spiked mace and pointed directly at Chromium. "Do ye seek to control it? Do you seek to control us? I think not, Sir!" he said, boldly. "We will not surrender ourselves to the authorities. No! We are not part of the system!" "We shall make haste and be off! To adventures new! To be free!" he said, climbing onto his motorcycle. Lady Key got on behind him, grabbing him tightly and with some infection. "FREE!" roared Sir Prize once again, bellowing to the heavens and igniting the engine of his bike...
Tarrakhash Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 Chromium was tired of chasing these loons, he didn't bother answering their nonsensical garbage, he bent down scooped up a large chunk of the building that had been exploded and chucked it at the idiot knights rear tire, hoping to cause enough damage to stop him from continuously running away. He could chase him, but he'd prefer not to. The other super hero might be on the way to provide assistance.
Supercape Posted April 12, 2019 Author Posted April 12, 2019 GM The rubble exploded inches away from the rear tire, just missing it. Such was the force of the throw that even the miss caused a splintering of shrapnel, that threatened to burst the tire. The bike even gave a wobble. For one moment, it seemed Sir Prize would be out of luck, but the bike straightened and the tire held. For now, fortune was with him. Lady Key turned round, glaring at Chromium. She didn't like being unseated. Perhaps, as they sped away, there was a look of admiration, but it was a dark and cloudy look. Her fingers flexed, as if readying herself for some act of war or violence, although neither was forthcoming. And now, the crowd of anarchists and latcher on came driving, running, and stumbling towards Chromium, with the might Fascimile at its head. "Where did Sir Prize go?" came the gasps and muted dissapointment.
Tarrakhash Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Chromium growled, looking at Facsimile and shook his head,"They blew it up to stop them doing 'bad' things...we need to catch them." Leaping into the air the heavy metal man came down with a clang in the shape of a Porsche and with a skid of tires, much dirt being flung into the night air he tore off after their foe...again, this time there would be no mercy he needed to catch them and bring them into Aegis if he was ever going to be taken seriously.
Exaccus Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 "Sir Prize has fled!" Facsimile responded to the crowd behind him "quit the field rather than face me!" He roared in mock outrage as his engines revved "but he shall not escape! He will be made to face me!" And with that he was off again like a shot at full pace, metal sinew and roaring combustion powering his limbs as he surged forth like a spring heeled jack
Supercape Posted April 17, 2019 Author Posted April 17, 2019 GM Anarchists were anarchists, and thus most inclined to freedom. SIr Prize was free to go where he wanted. And they were free to spit at him and call him a coward. And so it was! The groupthink metality was swaying towards a rebellious contempt for their leader - who had fled the field! Twas not good publicity, to say the least. And now - the chase was on! Further down the beach, with waves and starlight for company. Sir Prize and Lady Key had the lead, and it must be said Sir Prize was an excellent driver ontop of a powerful motorcycle. And yet, on his trail were a man-car, Chromium, and the mighty Fascimile!
Exaccus Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 With his mechanical organs roaring and fire spewing from his stunted wing like exhausts he was off like a blazing bullet. The rubber of his wheeled heels burning and squealing against the tarmac as his spindley form dodged and weaved through the streets to catch up with the silver hero and the escaping felons.
Tarrakhash Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Beach sand spewed out from beneath the metal mans tires as they chewed up the distance, his engines whined as he flew along the ground faster and faster. He gave everything he had to go as fast as possible, he would catch this Sir Prize if it was the last thing he did!
Supercape Posted May 15, 2019 Author Posted May 15, 2019 GM The speeds where equal, but where Sir Prize had to concentrate on driving a vehicle (despite his evident skill in the matter), the two heroes had little or any such difficulty. It was like running for them - it came naturally. They were not controlling the vehicle. They where the vehicle. It was only a matter of time before they caught up down the beach, and Lady Key turned around, acute of eye and ear, as they did so. She gave a grin of excitement and wild enthusiasm... ...and dropped a grenade behind her. It was a makeshift bottle full of makeshift fluids. But Lady Key knew her chemistry, and knew her explosives, and knew how to make an impact. The cunning lady timed it almost perfectly, so that both heroes felt the blast of smoke, and heard the deafening boom...
Exaccus Posted May 16, 2019 Posted May 16, 2019 Facsimile was not merely a vehicle at this point, he was an explosion fueled and channeled by an (in his opinion awesome looking) metal shell as all combustion engines were, light weight and with all the nimbleness and speed of a spring heeled jack he lept over the explosion, sliding across the pillow of the pressure it gave off before jt could build to its crushing crescendo. Others were not so lucky, the explosion not only flinging them away like ragdolls but hurling debris and shards of glass in all directions. In his mind there was really only one choice, he peeled off from the chase after a gesture to the silver car hero to keep going to assist those caught in the blast. He even managed to resist the temptation to blast a parting gasoline fueled fireball from his mouth right at that smug and yet crazed looking woman.
Tarrakhash Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 The silver Porsche drove directly into the fireball that was the flash bang, swerving much to late to avoid the impact from the blast but it had little effect on his metallic flesh and the parts of the car that allowed Chromium to see and he came tearing out of the fireball totally intact and driving at an insane speed for a normal car on the beach sand and drove directly towards the wheels of the bike the pair were driving on. Chromium had never done what he planned to do right now, but he had thought about it many times and it was more than a little risky. He was going to drive right into the wheels of the bike, and then at the moment of impact change into his human form, his hand hopefully clasping the rear tire of Sir Prizes bike and then..... Surprise! He should be too heavy for the bike to move and would halt it's forward momentum, he knew enough about car accidents to know that if all went according to his very heroic mental image both Sir Prize and Lady Key would be flying through the air with the greatest of ease, like they were on the flying trapeze but without a net only cold hard beach to meet their surprised faces! At least that was the plan....
Supercape Posted May 19, 2019 Author Posted May 19, 2019 GM And a fine and speedy plan it was, too. The two vehicles (or man-vehicle in the case of Chromium) skidded on the beach sand, kicking up a rather nice looking plume of sand in their wake. It was a testement to everyones skill and agility that a crash did not happen. Instead, Chromium and Sir Prize ground to a semi-elegant stop on the beach, and the waves lapped inches from their feet. Sir Prize was impassive behind his medieval helm, but had a sort of joy in his voice. "Very well, to Arms it is, then! What a day! A bold day! A day for beating hearts and clashing steel!" And in his case, a whirling spiked morning star, advancing on Chromium whilst Lady Key slowly peeled herself off the bike, rather white faced with the excitement...
Tarrakhash Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Chromium stood to his feet, his silver form reflecting the crashing waves, the moonlight and the visage of his foe as he walked towards him spiked mace in hand. Chromium glanced towards the white faced Lady Key, eager to make sure she did not escape but a whirling spiked mace commanded a certain amount of attention from even the bravest of fighters and Chromium certainly qualified. Frowning in concentration he focused on his right arm and lo it did change shape! A mighty sword, crackling with electrical energy took the place of his hand and Chromium smiled at his opponent,"Are you sure this is what you want to do? I'd hate to cut you down in battle but I will if I must....it would be better for you if you just gave in and let me take you to the police...or stockade." The crackling power surging along the length of his hand-blade reflected on his body bathing the beach in a shimmering light as he circled his opponent, ready for the inevitable clash.
