RocketLord
OOC for this. @Supercape Link to comment
Supercape
If it is of any pertinence: Know (Cur Events): 1d20+14 19 To speed things up, if you do ever think a Know (Cur Events) is needed (at a media gala, it might be), and you need another one, feel free to roll it! Link to comment
RocketLord
From that roll: There's not really anything you've heard about Miss Thorne not being as squeaky clean as she seems to be, but there's rumors that she's not really putting as much into the charities as she claims. Link to comment
RocketLord
Can I get a notice? Link to comment
RocketLord
Nothing to see here! Link to comment
Supercape
Ok! So taking your advice here what works best? On the one hand buddy could ping to 1 dimension and turn invisible. However he may not be able to do that if observed, essentially a secret ID complication which might be fun but may write the narrative up a dead end? Link to comment
RocketLord
Well, its all up to you. The gunmen has attention, obviously, but there's a lot of people in the room, and the question is whether or not you want to take the risk of someone seeing you. Link to comment
Supercape
Lets go for secret ID then (and complication if you deem it worthy!) Link to comment
RocketLord
Indeed. +1HP, let's see what you do Link to comment
RocketLord
Can I get a Sense Motive check? Link to comment
RocketLord
Alright, that was a Sense Motive for the gunman. Let's get some more. Two Sense Motive rolls: 1 for Tricia, 1 for Simon. Link to comment
Supercape
Sense motive x2: 2#1d20+10 23 12 Link to comment
RocketLord
Tricia doesn't appear as trouble as one would expect in this situation. She's strangely calm, actually. Link to comment
RocketLord
Sense Motive: 1d20+10 = 15 Link to comment
RocketLord
Completely forgot: Can I get a notice? Link to comment
RocketLord
The woman doesn't appear to be quite as drunk as she's acting. And there's something about the sounds she's making that doesn't seem quite like someone that's about to puke. Link to comment
Supercape
Ok, time for action! Move action: well, with Flight 5 he can whip across the room pretty fast! Its subtle to, so no massive wooshing noises! Then, accurate attack, taking 10 (hoping this guy is a minion?) for a 17 result, and a DC 28 Tough save? Link to comment
RocketLord
That's a hit! Toughness: 1d20+6 = 12 And KO in one hit. Link to comment
RocketLord
Give me a Diplomacy or Bluff roll, whichever you think fits better! Link to comment
Supercape
Oft a difficult decision! Whilst he is being deceptive about his super ID, I think the bulk of what he is trying to do is reason with her rather than fool her. I think it falls down more on diplomacy. Diplomacy: 1d20+10 23 Link to comment
