Shadowboxer Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 Nightrival is taking a total defense action, making his Defense DC 32. I used two move actions to have him slip past everyone.
Heridfel Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Dr. Archeville, would you consider what I wrote there to be a readied action to use Boost on Nightrival? If so, that'd take effect. If not, we'll see what things look like by the time that it gets around to my initiative.
Dr Archeville Posted September 21, 2008 Author Posted September 21, 2008 Dr. Archeville, would you consider what I wrote there to be a readied action to use Boost on Nightrival? I'll allow that, sure. Boosts his Str, Dex, Con, Int, Wis, and Cha all by 6, right? And fades at 1pp/5 rounds? This also moves Hub's position in the initiative order.
Dr Archeville Posted September 22, 2008 Author Posted September 22, 2008 Geez3r, Tahotai, Red Star and Shade can easily see Noodle-Woman and her captive, the three cowering patrons, and Big McLargeHuge in the back. And now that everyone can see the two super-crooks, folks can try Knowledge (current events or popular culture) checks (or Gather Information if you have Well-Informed) to try and identify them. Oh, Herid & Shadowboxer, Hub has used his Boost on Nighrival before, right?
Dr Archeville Posted September 22, 2008 Author Posted September 22, 2008 End of Round Recap Characters & Conditions Arrowhawk (Ecalsneerg) -- Full Health -- 0 HP Hub (Heridfel) -- Full Health -- 1 HP Nightrival (Shadowboxer) -- Full Health -- 3 HP Red Star (Geez3r) -- Bruise x1 -- 0 HP Shade (Tahotai) -- Full Health -- 1 HP The Spartan (Bendisgeidfran ["Bran"]) -- Full Health -- 3 HP Initiative Orders & Locations 22.5 - Hub (behind a movie display in the shoppe, changed and ready for action) 22 - Nightrival (atop counter) 19 - Arrowhawk (out front, directly in front of shoppe, aiming at [Guy]) 17 - Red Star (in shoppe [and in pain?]) 15 - Shade (just outside shoppe, looking) 13 - Noodly Woman (at front of shoppe, grappling/pinning clerk) 12 - Big McLargeHuge (in back of shoppe, wielding table) 10 - Assorted Bystanders (clerk + 3 patrons; Clerk is grappled/pinned by stretchy woman) 9 - The Spartan (out front, directly in front of shoppe)
Ecalsneerg Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 The house rule changes don't come into effect until your changes are approved, right? If not, lower my attack roll by 1. It probably matters not, as that is both a very high roll and a potential critical hit. :D
Dr Archeville Posted September 22, 2008 Author Posted September 22, 2008 Where's the link to the attack roll? :?:
Ecalsneerg Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 It was there. It was always there. :bat:
Heridfel Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Nightrival has had Hub Boost him back when the two of them were out rescuing Eldrich. Also, with regards to the Slow Fade, it's actually 10 rounds (one minute) for a power point to drop, not 5.
Tahotai Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 It's going to bug me forever if I don't point out it's Tahotai
Geez3r Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 No mechanical effect for fire-fists, they just look cool. And just to make doubly sure its noted, just spent Red Star's HP.
Tahotai Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 I'm very confused as to whose turn it is.
Dr Archeville Posted September 25, 2008 Author Posted September 25, 2008 Everyone posts now, since I know it's not possible for everyone to post "when it's their turn" (especially for a large-ish group like this). Once they do, I do my best to consolidate things in proper initiative order. Once everyone else posts, I try to give folks some time to go back and edit their post if they wish based on things a character who'd be acting/moving before them does.
Bendigeidfran Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Heridfel, you should know that the Spartan doesn't wear armor. It says so on the sheet.
Heridfel Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Got it. I did a quick search, but I missed that because I searched for armor, not armour. I'll edit my post to that effect.
Dr Archeville Posted September 25, 2008 Author Posted September 25, 2008 A crit from Spartan! Also, folks, don't forget about those skill checks I'd asked for. ;)
Dr Archeville Posted September 25, 2008 Author Posted September 25, 2008 From two pages back: And now that everyone can see the two super-crooks, folks can try Knowledge (current events or popular culture) checks (or Gather Information if you have Well-Informed) to try and identify them.
Ecalsneerg Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Oh yeah... don't have any of those skills or feats, so I didn't miss anything.
Dr Archeville Posted September 25, 2008 Author Posted September 25, 2008 Tahotai , there are three civilians still in the store (the punk couple and Middle-Aged Man). You can edit your post if you'd like.
Heridfel Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 I missed it as well; lost in the shuffle. Here's Hub's result: 16.
Geez3r Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Here's Red Star's check (17)to see if he knows who they are.
Dr Archeville Posted September 26, 2008 Author Posted September 26, 2008 Looks like we're waiting for Shadowboxer to post for Nightrival (and make his skill checks).
