Heridfel Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Obviously, the main fight hasn't started yet. I wanted to set the scene and give a chance for Velocity to come across the Emissary before starting with the big guns. It also gives the Emissary a chance to lecture a criminal who might go on the straight and narrow, and I couldn't pass that up. :)
Heridfel Posted September 12, 2008 Author Posted September 12, 2008 I guess not this time, eh? Velocity, it looks like the Emissary could use your help in getting the mugger delivered to the police (in other words, a reason for you to stop by and chat a little).
MarkK Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 He's building up to the lecture. You can't just bust one out, sometimes you have to lay groundwork :P
Thevshi Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Yes, unfortunatly I was a bit too busy Thursday night to be able to take the chance for an entrance :(
Heridfel Posted October 6, 2008 Author Posted October 6, 2008 Finally, the introduction is over. Give me a Notice check, followed by the initiative for the first round of combat. If you'd like to have said something prior to this happening, there's time, but I didn't want to delay the fight any further if you guys want it.
Thevshi Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Velocity got a 19 on her notice check. Also Herid, her visor gives her extended on her sight, and 360 degree sight. Only a 46 for initiative.
MarkK Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Sorry, got a bit busy with work. http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1759441/ 18 total on the notice check. http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1759443/ 31 total on init.
Heridfel Posted October 15, 2008 Author Posted October 15, 2008 I don't even need to roll initiative for Doc Otaku; there's no way for him to exceed what you two have already rolled. Amazingly, one of the Angel Androids did beat the Emissary, despite needing a natural 20 to do so. The order is: Velocity Ako Emissary Aki Aya Doc Otaku Currently, Doc Otaku is 250 feet in the air directly above where Velocity and the Emissary are standing. The androids are coming in from three opposite directions, looking like they'll each be landing about 30 feet from the heroes' position.
Heridfel Posted October 20, 2008 Author Posted October 20, 2008 Correct; Ako does act before the Emissary. The post is going up tonight (within 20 minutes of this post, in fact).
Heridfel Posted October 20, 2008 Author Posted October 20, 2008 Correction: Between the critical and autofire, Velocity's save DC was 32. Ako is staggered and stunned, so the Emissary gets to go before any of the androids take an action.
MarkK Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Going to try and set up an Acrobatic Bluff on the Doc, maxing out defensive attack this turn while so doing. http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1778483/ Hur.. well, check of 18 total for it.
Heridfel Posted December 3, 2008 Author Posted December 3, 2008 I apologize for the delay. I will be posting an update tomorrow evening.
Heridfel Posted December 4, 2008 Author Posted December 4, 2008 One android uses Aid Another to give the second one +3 to her attack (thanks to Teamwork). As previously noted, the third android is getting over a stun. Otaku himself just whiffed big time.
MarkK Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 My action kinda depends on the results of Velocity's toughness save.
Thevshi Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 I am sorry for my long absence as well, hopefully I am getting back into the swing of things. Velocity got a 25 for her toughness save.
