RocketLord Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 (edited) OOC for this. @Azuth65 Edited May 7, 2019 by RocketLord
RocketLord Posted May 10, 2019 Author Posted May 10, 2019 I don't really feel the need for a GM post yet, so let's keep going with them just hanging out and setting the scene a bit before I get the action started.
Azuth65 Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 1d20+2=21 to scare/shock Captain Harpoon into paying attention to his surroundings.
RocketLord Posted June 4, 2019 Author Posted June 4, 2019 Right then, opposed intimidate: 35 Sorry, no such luck, HOWEVER... See IC. And throwing the couch, Forever Boy and Gauss are close enough that he can hit them both, so let's see: 10, missing both. Let's get some initiative, then we'll go from there in turn order. Captain Ahab: 20 Forever Boy: 1d20+ 9 = 28
RocketLord Posted June 4, 2019 Author Posted June 4, 2019 Well, good rolls all around. 28 - Forever Boy - 4HP - Unharmed 24 - Gauss - 3HP - Unharmed 20 - Captain Ahab - Unharmed Forever Boy is gonna throw some fireworks at the good captain: 1d20+16 = 33, that's a hit. DC18 Ref save to avoid being blinded and deafened for Ahab: 17 And Gauss is up
Azuth65 Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 Gonna make good on the threat. 1d20+7=27 DC 27 toughness save from the steampunk cyborg...
RocketLord Posted June 4, 2019 Author Posted June 4, 2019 Crits too, so let's see his TOU: 24 Not too bad! A bruise for Ahab. I'll roll for his recovery from dazzled and whatever else he does after your IC. 28 - Forever Boy - 4HP - Unharmed 24 - Gauss - 3HP - Unharmed 20 - Captain Ahab - Bruise (x1), Dazzled (Visual, Auditory)
RocketLord Posted June 11, 2019 Author Posted June 11, 2019 Right then. Ahab is blinded and deafened, so he'll rampage around a bit, but without hitting anything. He'll get to roll next round to get rid of dazzled. And going for Forever Boy, gonna throw a Binding Bands snare at him: 1d20+12 = 21, that's a hit And reflex save to avoid being hit by Ahab, vs DC22: 9, bound and helpless... and you're up, if you want to attack, because Ahab is still struggling. 28 - Forever Boy - 4HP - Unharmed 24 - Gauss - 3HP - Unharmed 20 - Captain Ahab - Bruise (x1), Dazzled (Visual, Auditory), Bound and Helpless.
Azuth65 Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 He's bound and helpless, Gauss is going to deliver a coup de grace to knock him out. Another DC 27 Toughness save and, if Ahab doesn't fail hard enough to get knocked out, DC 17 Fort save to remain conscious.
RocketLord Posted June 12, 2019 Author Posted June 12, 2019 TOU Save: 30-1 = 29 And fort save: 27-1 = 26 Still conscious.
RocketLord Posted July 4, 2019 Author Posted July 4, 2019 (edited) Ahab fort save vs. Dazzle DC18: 21 No longer dazzled, Ahab attempts to break free. The Snare makes a Toughness Save vs. DC22: 16 Broken, and Ahab draws a harpoon. Edited July 4, 2019 by RocketLord
RocketLord Posted July 4, 2019 Author Posted July 4, 2019 Forever Boy uses Hide & Seek to create a mist in the area, though only affecting Ahab and no one else, and flies to put some distance between him and Gauss while calling out. 28 - Forever Boy - 4HP - Unharmed 24 - Gauss - 3HP - Unharmed 20 - Captain Ahab - Bruise (x1), Visual obscure affected Gauss is up.
RocketLord Posted July 4, 2019 Author Posted July 4, 2019 Resisted Strength check: 16 You got yourself a fancy new harpoon.
RocketLord Posted July 5, 2019 Author Posted July 5, 2019 Opposed intimidate: 31 Sorry, no luck! Ahab pulls out another harpoon and throws it at Gauss, with a 50% miss chance from total concealment: 20, that's a hit, and missing on 11-20: 18 So that's a miss! And he's moving towards Gauss through the mist. 28 - Forever Boy - 4HP - Unharmed 24 - Gauss - 3HP - Unharmed 20 - Captain Ahab - Bruise (x1), Visual obscure affected
RocketLord Posted July 5, 2019 Author Posted July 5, 2019 Forever Boy flies by Ahab and strikes with the Forever Blade, then moves on using Move-By Action: 1d20+7 = 17 That's a miss. Gauss is up.
Azuth65 Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 1d20+7=26, going to have her fling some metal bits at Ahab, need a DC 27 from him (I Improved Critical )
RocketLord Posted July 6, 2019 Author Posted July 6, 2019 Nice! TOU save: 26 Another bruise! Let me see an IC, then I'll follow up with Ahab and FB. 28 - Forever Boy - 4HP - Unharmed 24 - Gauss - 3HP - Unharmed 20 - Captain Ahab - Bruise (x2), Visual obscure affected
Azuth65 Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Give chase, use magnetic control to try and hold Frankenhab's metal bits in place. Perception range so no attack roll, opposed by a DC 35 strength check (if I'm reading the rules right).
RocketLord Posted August 8, 2019 Author Posted August 8, 2019 I think you're misreading the rules a bit here, and you start grappling now, so you need to make a grapple roll. Since you got Perception range on Move Object, your total grapple bonus is your Move Object rank x2, so make a roll at +14, and Ahab will oppose that.
RocketLord Posted August 9, 2019 Author Posted August 9, 2019 Still pretty good! Opposed roll from Ahab: 29 Just barely holding him! Give me an IC
RocketLord Posted August 12, 2019 Author Posted August 12, 2019 Ahab tries to escape, so we'll need an opposed grapple: 17 Yeah, I think you'll hold him, but let's see!
