Avenger Assembled Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 @alderwitch @angrydurf @Exaccus @Tiffany Korta - feel free to make an IC reaction post, and give me a Notice check afterwards.
Tiffany Korta Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 Daphne's Notice Roll: 1d20+15 17 , for what it's worth she'll use Super-Senses (see below) in her Grue Nature Array well as her mind and empathy senses. Spoiler Accurate (Hearing, Smell), Acute (Smell), Analytical (Smell), Darkvision, Direction Sense, Extended 3 (2 miles increments Vision, Hearing, Smell), Infravison, Low-Light Vision, Sonar
Avenger Assembled Posted August 2, 2019 Author Posted August 2, 2019 All right: @Tiffany Korta, your supersenses tell you there's a human nearby, and that something else is creeping up on you along the riverbank. @Exaccus, it's this cat
Avenger Assembled Posted August 6, 2019 Author Posted August 6, 2019 Okay, give me whatever rolls seem appropriate here to figure out what's going on with this guy, and what's the story of the tiger, etc. And anything else that might seem suspicious.
Exaccus Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 (edited) Tell me your secrets, tiger! Sense Motive! (?) I don't know if I've got anything more applicable. Taking 10 for 24 Edited August 6, 2019 by Exaccus
Tiffany Korta Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 Would Mind Reading (Subtle 2) 12 be good enough?
Avenger Assembled Posted August 6, 2019 Author Posted August 6, 2019 Tiff: This guy's name is Yegor Shoygu - he drives a truck in the town when he's not carrying his father's old service rifle in the woods to do a little hunting. Or maybe a lot of hunting. He's here to kill the tiger that came into his backyard and ate his two hunting dogs. He's not a terribly sentimental guy but he loved those dogs. He knows that the tigers are protected but the tigers come onto people's property all the time; a tiger that ate dogs has learned that there's food in houses. Next time it'll kill more dogs, or maybe a human next. He thinks nobody will listen because the rangers are college kids from Vladivostok who work for the tigers or rich tourists; not the people who live here.
Avenger Assembled Posted August 7, 2019 Author Posted August 7, 2019 The tiger looks fat and sassy, seemingly a very paragon of tigerness. One odd thing - Facsimile, you could _swear_ that thing was a normal color before, but now it's distinctly albino. What could it mean? This guy is sincere, durf - man is really broken up about his dogs dying and he wants some payback.
Exaccus Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Hmm can I try to trick the tiger? Basically telling it were onto it's game so it might as well drop the act. Bluff check! 1d20+14= 30
alderwitch Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Do you want to respond to Exaccus before I post, AA? I'm not sure how the bluff works on the tiger!
Avenger Assembled Posted August 9, 2019 Author Posted August 9, 2019 Y'all may want some initiative. @alderwitch, give me a Knowledge Arcane or Theo/Philo roll here while you're doing that.
Avenger Assembled Posted August 12, 2019 Author Posted August 12, 2019 Initiative is still probably what you want here folks - and you should do that roll when you get the chance, alder.
alderwitch Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 Init: 13 I somehow don't have either of those knowledges though at this point, Leilani should so I'll add them to my next character update. Do you want flat rolls or just to skip it,AA?
Avenger Assembled Posted August 12, 2019 Author Posted August 12, 2019 You can just roll INT - or even better, just Notice.
Avenger Assembled Posted August 13, 2019 Author Posted August 13, 2019 Initiative: Just an Ordinary Tiger: 24 JAOT: 24 Volcanic: 13 Facsimile: 9 Miss Grue: 8 Sandman: 3 JOAT: Leaps at Facsimile It's going to All-Out Power Attack Him It has Improved Grab, so it'll initiate a Grapple. 44 need to beat that http://orokos.com/roll/748945 = that hits! Give me a DC 33 Tou save, Facsimile.
Avenger Assembled Posted August 13, 2019 Author Posted August 13, 2019 @alderwitch - god sense tingling!
