Exaccus Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 (edited) 1d20+10=20 Hah still standing! Barely. Grapple! 1d20+20=23 Edited August 13, 2019 by Exaccus
Avenger Assembled Posted August 13, 2019 Author Posted August 13, 2019 Staggered and Dazed - as well as Bound and Helpless. Man, good thing you've got friends! Volcanic is up as soon as I post IC.
alderwitch Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 Volcanic is going to hold her action while she does some team communication! Since tossing fire at the tiger grappling the teammate is perhaps a less than good plan.
Avenger Assembled Posted August 14, 2019 Author Posted August 14, 2019 Okay, Exaccus, you're up! Or rather, down.
Exaccus Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Let's see... Gonna spend a HP to clear the daze Then I'm gonna try and surge for another HP and spend those two standards to mimic the soil beneath me? Failing that I'll try to get control of the Grapple with my standard.
Avenger Assembled Posted August 14, 2019 Author Posted August 14, 2019 So down two HP, out of actions, but mimicking the soil? Okay. You can certainly try! =D

Avenger Assembled Posted August 14, 2019 Author Posted August 14, 2019 You can be a powerhouse or insubstantial, you can't be "solid earth" and "cloud of dirt" simultaneously, it's not thematic.

Exaccus Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 "You've got a HP to clear your Dazed condition, more than enough VP points for Insubstantial and more than enough Concentration to make the DC20 check mandated by the house rules. You're Staggered, so you only have a single move or standard action each round anyway. If you just pick up Insubstantial, you can take the move action to Escape the grapple, make the Concentrate check, slip out, and take a move action's worth of movement to get away from this thing. Your fellow PC will then probably get its attention. You can probably even get some movement power ranks out of the VP, since Insub 1 would only take like 1/12th of your points, so you could get some real distance. Burrowing? Since he doesn't want you VPing Regen, and probably not Healing either, if the other PC can keep them occupied for long enough, you could burn another HP next round for an immediate recover action for that Staggered condition (presumably your worst). Since you're Staggered, and recovering is a Full action, that would eat up two rounds, but it would get you back up to full actions afterward." Grumblefloofs suggestion for posterity.
Tiffany Korta Posted August 22, 2019 Posted August 22, 2019 I'd like to stunt a sleep like stun off of her Mind Reading array and put the hunter to sleep. I'm thinking some thing like this: Stun 7 (Extra: Alternative Save - Willpower, Sleep) [14PP]
Avenger Assembled Posted August 23, 2019 Author Posted August 23, 2019 Okay, he's just a regular human man, so I'll let that work.
angrydurf Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 If a 1000' Teleport gets him in range Sandman will switch the array to his perception range Fatigue 12 and use it on the Tiger for a DC 22 Fort check Otherwise he'll op the portal open and go through and hold it open for Ms. Grue
angrydurf Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 And just in case knowledge arcana 27 for whats up with the tiger
Avenger Assembled Posted August 26, 2019 Author Posted August 26, 2019 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Tiger_(China) - that he's here on Russian soil is awkward!
Exaccus Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 Completing my mimicry this round So im gonna try and slip out now. Here's that Concentration check. 1d20+14=19 Bother. Try again later!
alderwitch Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 I posted, though she's not really taking any combat moves atm! She did shape up the earth to have her feet in contact with it just in case it all goes to hell.
Avenger Assembled Posted August 29, 2019 Author Posted August 29, 2019 Okay, folks, I'll take a poll, do we want peaceful resolution (with more posts) or combat (with more posts). Either way we don't have too much longer to go!
Tiffany Korta Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 I'm totally fine with a peaceful resolution.
