Avenger Assembled Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Richard takes a second or two to read the dude's library - what's on his mind?
Shofet Posted August 25, 2019 Author Posted August 25, 2019 Adrian's library seems primarily focused on meta-human threats, and more importantly, how less powered individuals plan to take them down. Some highlights include proposed tactics involving aerosolized lubricants to deal with speedsters to take away their traction, theories on a railgun powerful enough to puncture the skin of paragons, and a failed, but tested device meant to induce grand mal seizures in psychics. There's also a lot of books going into how and why powers work. Other topics include geopolitics, dealing and coping with abuse (including a highlighted section on not blaming fellow victims), and one book on pet care.
RocketLord Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Connor is going to try to keep up with what is going on with lip reading (and who knows if Kombat speaks to himself in the kitchen?). Just learned that's a Notice-5 check, so rolling for that: 1d20+12-5 = 21
Shofet Posted August 26, 2019 Author Posted August 26, 2019 Connor manages to keep up with the lip reading, but Kombat isn't saying anything, instead just quietly going about making tea.
RocketLord Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Archer uses the Aim action, so he'll get a +2 bonus to hit if he needs to attack.
Avenger Assembled Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Fast-Forward will wait on Corona to say something.
RocketLord Posted August 30, 2019 Posted August 30, 2019 Archer readies an action to fire a Thermite Arrow at the entrance the moment Roadkill or Rayburst pops up.
