The Meta-Naut is going to try and make another notice check to find this jerk. 10. Sigh. Spending a Hero Point. 2, which +10 = 12. Dangit.

Justice switches the MOD System to full Protection, for a total Toughness of +15, IDEA System to the Super-Senses and MOVE System to Impervious Toughness.

 

Move action to drive closer, Notice check to try and spot the bad guy: 13

Not great!

 

Opposed Stealth: 23

 

NOPE!

 

Since Justice is on approach, the bad guy attacks her: 19

Its a hit, but can't penetrate Justice's Impervious Toughness!

 

2 IC posts coming, then Meta-Naut is up!

Ruins are about 1000 feet away, if you want try to reach them, Justice will get there on her next post.

The Meta-Naut will fly on forward for sure, but only about 450 feet which is her movement range at Flight 3. She's gonna take another notice check... 1. Yikes.

Justice gets to the ruin and goes for another Notice: 22

And opposed Stealth: 13

 

We actually found them! Justice's out of actions, but now we can find them, at least!

 

Four guys pop up per IC and attacks with bows:

3 vs Justice: 20 11 22 2 hits, which all fail against the Impervious Tou

1 vs Meta-Naut: 24, a hit, so give me a DC18 TOU save

Woof, that's a 13 on that toughness test. Rerolling with a hero point and... 26. Excellent!

 

Now, she's going to try and attack one of these things with a grapple. And I rolled a 10! Nevermind.

That's a miss, yeah!

 

Justice switches MOVE System to Jump Jets and jumps up above, getting into melee with the one of the attackers, bringing out the Rocket Hammer!

Attack: 9

Oof, missing too!

 

The attacker near Justice backs away and fires and arrow at her, while one of the other attacks her as well: 21 14

One hit, one miss.

 

The other two attackers go for Meta-Naut: 20 18

That's a couple of hits.

 

DC18 TOU saves for the hits!

 

Justice's TOU: 32

Nailed it.

First toughness save: 20. Safe there. Next... 25. I am feeling really lucky. 

 

Now, to try and hit one of these jerks. Using a tachyonic blast... 26 to hit. That's a DC 21 Toughness save for the one that badmouthed her.

Justice's up!

 

Bringing down the hammer on the guy in front of her first: 23

TOU save: 17 vs DC27, he's out.

 

Justice follows up with a Feint as Move Action, so -5, against the other guy: 21

Other guy's resist to that: 7

He's feinted alright.

 

One attack at Meta-Naut: 15

One attack at Justice: 20

 

Hitting Justice, so TOU: 16

Missed by 2, so Justice is bruised

TOU from the one attacked: 19

He's out.

 

Justice jumps at the last one and switches Z-Space Arsenal to the Power Sword, and rockets swinging it at him: 29

A crit, so DC30 TOU save, which he can't possibly make, so the last one is out too.

 

Combat's over.
