Connor kneeled by the device while the others talked. At least Kronk was right about it being fried. No telling what it could do before it blew, so the frog could easily be lying. Maybe he should try looking into that. Picking it up, he stood back up as Triakosia finished her introduction.

"Archer." His announcement of his identity done, he held the device out to Terrifica. "I know a little bit about mechanics, but this thing's way too advanced for me. Guessing you might have a better chance." If she didn't accept it, he would just pull it back and hold it.

"If this thing is what brought you here and it doesn't work, then I guess you're stranded here? Probably better to work with the people here then, right?"

Kronk stared at Triakosia for a long moment as she dropped a reference that even with the translation bank running he wasn't really a student of the classics of this or his own world.  "Right on, I don't judge."  he finally nodded it was some kind of odd romantic entanglement he didn't need details of.  The big toad man nodded to the device Archer was passing off to Teriffica, "Y'all can take that."  he shrugged and started strolling back towards his bike.  He turned at the next introduction and laughed pointing at the bow, "See I understand that reference."

He sighed however at the bowmans frank assessment of his situation and stared down the trio,  "Well you got a point there, not going anywhere anytime soon."  he agreed with a roll of broad shoulders, "But."  he paused considering his options for a moment, "You fought off their forces they're gonna be back sooner or later,"  he actually smiled at the thought, "A real invasion would be what I call a target rich environment."  he seemed genuinely pleased at the thought of facing down an army from the terminus.

Triakosia

The alien had a point, though she couldn’t help but feel that he was still trying to provoke them. So whilst this was probably on the level he couldn’t be trusted completely. Still he had useful information and they could use and more importantly he could become an ally.

We’ve beaten them off before and I’m sure we can do it again. Maybe we could do even better with your help?”

She paused to let the offer peculate before adding

We have people that can help you settle in and find a place on this Earth, but we need to know we can trust you not to make a fuss.”

Terrifica kept smirking. “Not at all, Kronk. I know much more about you than I did five minutes ago.” She let the remark about her intellect pass. It was almost as if she was growing as a person. But that couldn’t be right. She was Terrifica, after all. After that, she shut up and listened. Best way to learn things about people, let them talk. She got the reference to Atropos, of course. She stopped smirking, unsure she liked being called a goddess. It smacked of hubris. She took the thing from Archer and studied it. She held her peace a while longer, until Kronk spoke a second time. “You sound like you’re looking forward to another Terminus Invasion. I assure you, enough Omegadrones to blot out the sun isn’t nearly as fun as you think. Though the shade they provide is most welcome.” She smirked again.”Fighting is very hot work.”

She sighed. Oh, all right. She was the Leaguer here, even if she was a reservist. “Indeed we do, Triakosia. With the proper assurances, I can even start the process right now.” She pulled a communicator out of her utility belt. She did technically have the comm codes. “What say you, Kronk? Can you stop trying to destroy Terminus artifacts and adhere to our laws?”

Ah, right. Terrifica was a Freedom Leaguer, right? No powers as far as Connor knew, but good enough that the high and mighty wanted her in their little league. Stepping away from the others, he remained silent for now. He didn't really have anything to add here, and Kronk seemed to have calmed down. No need for a fight, then.

He kind of wondered if the old man ever fought anything like Kronk. Probably, wouldn't surprise him at least.

"We're good here, then? No more trouble?" He didn't really want to stick around if any more leaguers showed up.

"DAMN RIGHT YOU CAN!"  Kronk bellowed in reply slapping his knee in excitement at the prospect.  He laughed a rumbling laugh inflating his throat sack and vibrating the ground and nearby buildings slightly with his mirth.  He waved off the paragons concerns with one webbed hand, "Yea Yea No more fussin with the forge till you all say so."  he replied with a lopsided grin on his bulbous features.

"If it took ya that long to know more about me you're a bit slow on the uptake lady."  Kronk pointed out with a shrug, "I'm not exactly what ya call a master of subtlety."  He returned to his bike and powered down the cannon as he looked up at the sky eyes unfocused and distant for a moment as Terrifica spoke of flights of drones darkening the skies.  "I didn't say fun, I said target rich."  he pointed out as he turned leaning against the wylderide lazily.  "I'll only take out active threats or the ones you all tell me too sure."  he replied with a shrug.  It seemed easy enough to promise and he might even manage to keep the promise.  "an I'll tow the party line sure."  he added absently he wasn't big on rules but figured he'd play along till it was inconvenient at least.

Terrifica smiled. There was a hell of an edge to it. “Says the being who didn’t accept us at face value, either. Goodness, it’s almost as if trying to headbutt me in right after meeting each other caused me to distrust you entirely.” Why yes, there was a limit as to how many times she could be called stupid or some variant thereof. She may have recently adjusted it upward from one (1) time, but that did not mean it was particularly high.

Then she was on her communicator. It wasn’t League issue. It was of her own devising. “Hello again, this is Terrifica.” The ID codes were, of course, broadcast electronically. Speech was so easy to mimic. Encryption codes designed by a supergenius with a brain both more powerful and faster than almost any computer were significantly less so. “I have another dimensional refugee. Answers to The Unbreakable Kronk. Humanoid toad. Apparently amphibious. Grudge against the Terminus. Boisterous warrior type, no strict honor code. Moderately rebellious attitude. We are in Kingston, by the Doomforge, with the second Archer and Triakosia. There was a brief conflict, now ceased. No injuries. Attribute Notes: Strength and durability are more in line with Triakosia than myself or Archer. Above average agility. Average intelligence. Additional powers and abilities are unknown at this time. That is all.” She listened for several seconds. “All right, I’ll let him know. I don’t think that was-” And they were gone. Too long of a report? Honestly…precision mattered, and no lives depended on haste. She returned the communicator to it’s pouch. “Well. A transport will be along soon enough. Archer, Triakosia? If you want to leave now, I’ll understand.”

"Great." Connor looked at Kronk, Triakosia and Terrifica. Didn't have much of a chance to actually get to know them, but Terrifica was part of the league. Self-made, not someone that was good just because she had powers, but still, she was league. Connor had no reason to stick around for that.

Reaching for an arrow, he briefly pointed at Kronk with it. "You be good now, big guy." Turning away, he fired the arrow towards a nearby building, a long line attached to its end. Connor pulled at it once, making sure it was secured, before turning to nod briefly at Terrifica and Triakosia. "I'll take the chance and get out of here before the league people show up. Its been interesting. Hit me up if you're get to Southside." Pulling at the line again, he let the line retract, quickly pulling him towards the building and away from them.

He wasn't even sure why he offered them an invitation like that.

Triakosia

Dancia was happy that the whole thing went off without to much trouble, though she suspected this guy was always going to be a handful. Luckily she’d had to deal with a child so a Frog hero was nothing competitively. She smiled but kept her arms crossed, though she wasn’t sure if this alien could understand human body language.

I’m glad we’ve all seen sense here, and I’ve got no needed to avoid the league. And I want to make sure that our friend doesn't get into any more trouble.”

Hopefully for here on out things would go smooth, but with Freedom City you never could tell.

"BWAHHAHHA,  YEA THAT WAS PRETTY GOOD."  Kronk shook with laughter at what he'd taken as a joke perhaps from Terrifica.  "Woulda been sweet if it landed though!"  the toad man replied still mirthful.  He watched as Terrifica made her call keeping quiet for the duration at some strain but managing nonetheless.  He waved to Archer with a smirk, "Son I'm better 'n good on a bad day."

Teriffica and Triakosia hadn't long to wait on the transport, probably a good thing as Kronk had exhausted a long list of mind altering materials he wanted to check the availability and legality of, in that order, and was about to regale them with tales of his romantic exploits across the cosmos.

The large prisoner transport swooped down to street level repulsor fans whirring to stir a cloud of debris and the rapidly dissolving riot foam remnants as it came to a landing and the transport team stepped out seemingly surprised that the offender wasn't restrained.  The head of the team approaching Terrifica while he reviewed his orders and frowned, "Uh so he's coming peacefully then?"  he asked uncertainly as the big alien approached the transport.  Kronk let out a laugh at the question, "As long as you all don't scratch the paint on my baby here."  he slapped the side of his wyldride fondly and stepped heavily into the transport while it was loaded behind him.

"So ah will you both be accompanying us?"  the transport technician inquired hopefully as Kronk shook the transport slapping the wall with one big webbed hand, "lets get this show on the road, I need a drink!"

Regardless of escort they'd soon leave with Kronk and deliver him to Freedom Hall for debriefing and placement with one of the agencies who handled such arrivals.
