Zeitgeist Blue Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 (edited) OOC for this. Roll Perform (Stage Magic) for your final trick of the show! Edited March 21, 2020 by Zeitgeist Blue
Brown Dynamite Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 Perform (Stage Magic): 1d20+10 15 Not his best closer, not his worst
Zeitgeist Blue Posted March 20, 2020 Author Posted March 20, 2020 (edited) I'd give that a so-so. You don't hit it out of the park but it is a competent, if a bit of a true-and-tried, performance. It hits all the technical spots, checks all the boxes on how to reel the crowd in and give them the payoff. Certainly, you get a round of applause and wave of approving murmurs and guesses after you end but that's what you'd expect. Go ahead and write-up what Dalir's final trick is. Zeitgeist Blue Posted March 21, 2020 Author Posted March 21, 2020 (edited) Okay. So give me two Fortitude Rolls against Stun with Sleep Extra DC 20. And give me an opposed Notice against Sleight of Hand Roll DC 11 as well. Feel free to post Dalir's reaction to... whatever is happening to him at the moment. Results for the Fortitude checks are the usual for Stun with Sleep Extra and I'll tell you what the Notice check gets you at my next IC post. Edited March 22, 2020 by Zeitgeist Blue

Zeitgeist Blue Posted March 23, 2020 Author Posted March 23, 2020 (edited) Oh welp. Guess you don't get your chance to take a few Triad 49ers with you before you enter Dreamland. You do realize however, just as your limbs fail you and you fall, that this feeling seems to emanate where Xie Fan had slapped you on the shoulder a few minutes ago. It was a small bother when it started but now? Well, now you black out. Dalir the Dashing - 1HP - Unconscious Edited March 23, 2020 by Zeitgeist Blue
Zeitgeist Blue Posted March 30, 2020 Author Posted March 30, 2020 That's a big dice roll. No contesting that. Guy believes you, hook, line and sinker.
Zeitgeist Blue Posted March 30, 2020 Author Posted March 30, 2020 (edited) Roll me a Reflex Save vs DC 15. Then a Toughness Save vs DC17, DC 16 if the Reflex Save passes. Then roll Initiative too. And what will Dalir do? Edited March 30, 2020 by Zeitgeist Blue
Brown Dynamite Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 (edited) Reflex Save (DC15): 1d20+7 18TOU Save (DC16): 1d20+5 17Initiative: 1d20+3 14 Let's see. Dalir will try and Trick the remaining guard into leaving the vehicle.Bluff to Trick: 1d20+15 25 It will leave him with only one guard as far sleight of hand targets go after the guard leaves (Assuming he's successful). Edited March 30, 2020 by HGM
Zeitgeist Blue Posted March 30, 2020 Author Posted March 30, 2020 Even with handcuffs that put the Entangled condition on Dalir, he still managed to avoid any unfortunate surfaces to crash his head into. Reflex Save and Toughness Save passed.
Brown Dynamite Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Alrighty. Let's go with a Sleight of Hand: 1d20+15 24-4=20 on the remaining guard. Let's burn a hero point too! In case the window to move is tight, Dalir will grab the move-by-action feat. He's going to make a run for it out of the car right after.
Zeitgeist Blue Posted March 31, 2020 Author Posted March 31, 2020 Automatic fail on the guy's notice check as the partition adds a -5 modifier to his roll. He doesn't Notice you doing anything. Unfortunately, you find no keys that work on your cuffs. Just some random keys on a keychain. You can just... unlock the door to leave.
