RocketLord Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 (edited) OOC for this. @Cubismo, @Nerdzul, @RedSpine, @Heritage Edited October 16, 2020 by RocketLord
Cubismo Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 This Sebastian Shields guy seems like a dude that one of helluva of a reputation. Maybe Arrow knows a bit more about him through the social grapevine? I'm going to roll Gather Information to see if she knows anything about him. She has Well-Informed so its an immediate reaction. Gather Information Check: 14.
RocketLord Posted October 17, 2020 Author Posted October 17, 2020 @Cubismo Sebastian is not really well-liked around Claremont. He acts as if he's better than everyone else, especially those with less money. He has some mind manipulation powers of some kind, and then there's the stuff mentioned already in the opening post.
RedSpine Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Would it be fair to say after Zach's last encounter with Casanova that he would have spent some time gathering information on him? And in the following weeks the members of his new super team? Because if so Skill mastery will let me take 10, and online research lets me use computers for gather information which will let me get to 25 in total.
RocketLord Posted October 18, 2020 Author Posted October 18, 2020 @RedSpine: In addition to Arrow's info above, you have managed to learn that Casanova really doesn't come from as rich or influential a family as he pretends. In fact, his family is outright poor, which he seems to hide for some reason. Casanova doesn't seem to be lacking any money himself, though.
Heritage Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 (edited) Shift wants to use his VP to generate the following: Concealment 4 (All Visual Senses, Feat: Close Range, Flaw: Blending) 5PP Edited November 13, 2020 by Heritage
RocketLord Posted November 18, 2020 Author Posted November 18, 2020 Let me see Stealth rolls if you follow them to the park and try to remain hidden. Notice rolls at DC20 to hear what they're saying, read the spoiler. If you got some enhanced hearing power or other way of listening in at a distance, you can bypass the roll. Spoiler Stinger: "Look, they're perfect. Do them, Cas." Toxin: "C'mon, they're not doing anything, leave them alone." Casanova: "Don't worry about it, Charlene. Just look at them, they're just looking for trouble."
Nerdzul Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 Luke got a 2... (link) so 12 in total, mmm... At least he has SM on Notice and he can hear what they said.
Cubismo Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 (edited) Using Grapple Gun from Gadgets Power to make it over the fence without tripping any sensors. Arrow will use Skill Mastery instead of rolling for Stealth, which means she has a 20. Got a 16 on the Notice check. Oh well. IC post will be forthcoming. Edited November 18, 2020 by Cubismo
Heritage Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 (edited) So Shift has total concealment from visual senses, but none of the other senses are affected. How does that work with Stealth rolls? EDIT: Untrained Stealth check: 1d20+2=17 Notice check: 1d20+10=28 Edited November 20, 2020 by Heritage
Heritage Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 Let me know if I have to in any way edit or change that post.
RocketLord Posted November 28, 2020 Author Posted November 28, 2020 Skill Mastery Stealth for total 25 Notice: 30
RocketLord Posted November 28, 2020 Author Posted November 28, 2020 Alright, unless you don't want to attack, let's see some initiative rolls.
Nerdzul Posted November 28, 2020 Posted November 28, 2020 23 Finally, haven't seen a decent roll in a while
Cubismo Posted November 28, 2020 Posted November 28, 2020 Initiative Check: 23. Ha. What a funny coincidence.
RocketLord Posted November 29, 2020 Author Posted November 29, 2020 (edited) Initiative: 10 Sorry, I broke the streak! Gonna give @RedSpine a day or two, then I'll roll for New Young Freedom. Feel free to do a pre-combat post each reacting to the GM and Charlie's question if you want! Edited November 29, 2020 by RocketLord
RedSpine Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 7~ There's something deeply funny about all of this.
Heritage Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Shift is switching from Concealment to Additional Limbs.
RocketLord Posted December 2, 2020 Author Posted December 2, 2020 (edited) Alright, initiative rolls: Casanova: 7 Chump: 10 Toxin: 12 Bluebird: 10 Stinger: 14 Then, rolling Notice for each of them vs. the lowest Stealth check (Nightscale's at 12) to determine which of them are caught off guard and gets to act or not act in the surprise round: Casanova: 17 Chump: 20 Toxin: 20 Bluebird: 29 Stinger: 30 Yeah, so. They notice Luke. Everyone acts on the surprise round. Heroes are marked in bold on the initiative order. But with that said, I do a GM post, then @Heritage is up! Let's get this cluster#### started! Right now New Young Freedom is grouped relatively close together, with the couple and the teen on the opposite side from the heroes' position. There's trees, bushes, plants, paths and lights around as you want. 23 - Shift - 3HP - Unharmed 23 - Arrow IV - 3HP - Unharmed 23 - Nightscale - 3HP - Unharmed 14 - Stinger - Unharmed 12 - Toxin - Unharmed 10 - Chump - Unharmed 10 - Nevermore II - 3HP - Unharmed 10 - Bluebird - Unharmed 7 - Howl - 3HP - Unharmed 7 - Casanova - Unharmed Edited December 2, 2020 by RocketLord
Heritage Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 Shift is going to move to Toxic, roll to hit and then attempt to grapple. Unarmed attack on Toxic: 1d20+6=21 Grapple with Additional Limbs: 1d20+24=43
