Stinger tries to escape the grapple again

Standard Action: Escape grapple: 32

Free Action: End grapple.

Move Action: Move away from Nightscale.

Stinger is no longer pinned.

 

Toxin shifts attention away from Shift and instead runs up to attack Nightscale.

Move Action: Move into melee with Nightscale

Standard Action: Attack Nightscale: 25. That's a hit.

Chump punches Howl.

Let's try this again, eh.

 

Move Action: Feint on Bluebird. Going to roll it this time around. Got a 15 on the Bluff.

Standard Action: Attacking Bluebird with Standard Arrows again. Got a 13 on the Attack. Oh dear. DC 20 vs. Toughness. Though I doubt that hits.

 

Edit: Per convo with Rocket, I'll be re-rolling Arrow's Attack. 30! And it looks like dice gods have decided to be kind. That's a crit, meaning the DC just went up to DC 25 vs. Toughness.

Try to grab Stinger again (+2 to hit -2 defense): 13 Miss... woah how unexpected.

Yep, but note that sickened affects attack rolls and checks, not saves.

 

Speaking of, I forgot to make Chump's recovery check due to his Regeneration power before

Chump's recovery vs. DC10: 13

The bruise is healed!

Note that I rolled the TOU save below before remembering that recovery save, so the Bruise was applied to the actual roll. I've just increased the end result by 1 to make up for it.

While Nighstcale is now probably tempted to punch stinger in the face, he would still continue to be a "gentleman" and just just try to immobilize her with a grapple. Hopefully for real this time. 

 

Move action: he will move closer to her

As usual he is going to do the -2 to def + 2 to hit to get her.

To hit: 21 maybe?

Grapple: 36!

Keep her when she tries to escape 34

28! Nat 20 on dodging away from that mess!
 

21 meanwhile on toughness. Getting a little banged up there.

 

Turn wise we're gonna keep with what we did before to hopefully get another bruise or more. I figure the bruise might help Nevermore stick a gadget or other trickey on his next turn.

14 on the baseline punch, which i'm fairly certain isn't going to land. But if does same dc's as before. With Nevermore now in the fray Howl is going to stay where he is so chump won't accidentally go for him.

No damage. Since you passed the reflex save, the TOU save is only DC20.

 

And that's a hit.

Next turn i think i want to try to stunt my power so I used my ic post to build some ic justification for it on Hows end.

Really between Chump and Howl the ground so far is the clear loser.

Move Action: Gonna try to Taunt Stinger. Got 30 on the Bluff roll. It's a 26 if Stinger isn't affected by Attractive.

Standard Action: Attacking Stinger with Standard Arrows. Got a 31. That's a nat 20 and a crit. Stinger has to make a 25 Toughness Save. 

 

Some pretty solid rolls! (Praises RNG!)
