And I'd like to make a Knowledge [Tactics] roll to see if he got any idea about the best idea to fight Talos, perhaps with some backup from old Archer over the communicator from Archer's benefit: 15. Not the best, but oh well.

 

I need to buy Archer some skill mastery...

Richard does not actually get to use his Theurgy against flying opponents much! 

 

Let's go with the burning light of Sirius here. 

 

The DC to hit his target is 22; said target's Tou is 18. 

 

Attack vs: 22: 14

Okay, he has spent the one HP he has by default (that's speedsters for you!). 

 

That's a DC 31 Tou save for Talos.

This seems - a little odd for Talos? Doesn't really fit his recent plans or his usual MO; but he's been around a long time and he's done a lot of different things, so maybe...?

Knock him down first, think about why this is weird later.

 

Move action: Configure Gadgets, spending 5 PP on Immunity to Fire Damage

Standard action: The on screen debut of the Terrifi-Cannon. https://orokos.com/roll/914490 And, naturally, I roll a friggin' two. 10 total. Just enough to hit a wall. Yay. Well that's just not allowed. HP spent, do it again. https://orokos.com/roll/914492 Flip it all the way around. Rolled a 20 for 28. If that qualfied as a nat 20 I'll take the +5 to Toughness DC. Without that, it's a DC 27 Tou. With, it's a 32. Worth the HP to get a crit I guess. :D

Gonna try to stunt an EMP arrow off Archer's Arrows array. Would this work?

 

Nullify [Technology] 6 (Nullify All Technology Descriptor [2pp/r]; Feats: Improved Range 2; Extras: Effortless; Flaws: Action [Full Round]) {14/14DP} (DescriptorsEMP Arrow)

Oh, just wanted to be sure that it would work as an EMP thingie, haven't used Nullify much.

 

Stunting the above, adding Autofire with the Arrow Add-Ons array.

 

Attack roll: 30

 

DC16-19 Will or appropriate save vs. Nullify for all tech on the robot, hopefully, depending on how much higher than Defense that hits!

Alright, let's see.

 

Based on how tough this guy seems to be, Will is going to shift his Array:
-Alternate PowerStrike 5 (Extras: Penetrating 6, Power Feats: Improved Critical 2 [18-20], Mighty [+2 Damage]) [14PP] ("Duelist Blade"; Piercing)

 

Move Action: Get up to Talos!

Standard Action: Melee Attack: 21. If that hits, it's a DC 22 Toughness Save, but he has 6 ranks of Penetrating, making it effective DC 28/+13 for the purposes of overcoming Impenetrable. But it might well miss so this might be moot.

Busy weekend, brain fog. 

I'll need to look at the rules but considering Thoughtspeed's, well, speed, shouldn't I be able to hit 30 feet with an actual running jump and an Acrobatics check? If I need to stunt something I can do that, though.

Okay took a sec to look at Jumping rules. You're right about them not giving the ability to jump a lot. 

 

So I'll spend an HP to stunt Leaping.

 

Acrobatics Check just in case: 22.

We'll use the above attack roll I made to keep things simple.
