Dr Archeville Posted February 12, 2009 Author Posted February 12, 2009 Or are there...? Kavos, make... five Notice checks for Ember, to see how well he can keep track of 'em.
Kavos Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Embers Notice Rolls 1d20+8 → [14,8] = (22) 1d20+8 → [18,8] = (26) 1d20+8 → [8,8] = (16) 1d20+8 → [12,8] = (20) 1d20+8 → [4,8] = (12) Edit: oh hay and my 200th post :D
Dr Archeville Posted February 12, 2009 Author Posted February 12, 2009 Ember's easily able to keep track of Tabitha & Jos, though the last fifth of the trip he comes uncomfortably close to loosing sight of them.
Dr Archeville Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 Ember Paw spots a few places he could eavesdrop fairly well: some of the boards covering the windows are a bit loose, and there's duct openings on the roof he can listen through (or perhaps even crawl through). There is one cyber-gangster outside keeping watch, though.
Delemental Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Finally got my demonstration posted! I left Lust out of the demonstration because it affects a 100' radius Burst, and I don't need everyone in the warehouse going ga-ga for Tabitha (they're already having trouble looking her in the eyes, apparently). I didn't do Envy because obviously none of the 'volunteers' had powers, and I didn't think Kaars would react well to Tabitha going after one of his cyber-gangsters. Besides, even if their implants do give them powers, none of them looked like they would make much of an impressive display - if one of the gangsters had a gun for a leg, that would be one thing, but on first glance it looked mostly like a bunch of Enhanced Senses type of thing. And what she said was true - she doesn't want to reveal every trick she has.
Ecalsneerg Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 I was waiting for Sandman to recover, but now my excuse has gone. Curses! I'll probably have something up in the next day.
Ecalsneerg Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Will you need more Survival rolls for me to keep following the scent trail?
Dr Archeville Posted March 2, 2009 Author Posted March 2, 2009 Yes, since there are a lot of new, different scents in the Theatre District.
Cyrith Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Should I wait until Geckoman and Quark are done their scene, Or should I just start bugging Geckoman for a ride? I don't want to muddle up the thread, but it seems fitting that Geckoman, being already involved, should give me a lift.
Dr Archeville Posted March 3, 2009 Author Posted March 3, 2009 Let me do a wrap-up post for this "round," then you'll be free to bug the lizard-boy.
Dr Archeville Posted March 9, 2009 Author Posted March 9, 2009 Jos spies Ember Paw. Jos is trying to hide this fact. Now the question is, does Ember Paw notice that he's been noticed? Kavos, make a Sense Motive check vs. Jos's Bluff (DC 16). Delemental, please make a Notice check (DC 15) to see if Iniquity notices the fox-man. If she does spot him, and wants to play it cool, that'd be a Bluff check, too.
Kavos Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Ember's Notice Check Jos = 3+2 = 5 (Ember is way to trusting for a villain  ) Tabitha = 17+2 = 19 (I'll let the doc decide whether the attractive applies or not, I would guess it probably does)
Dr Archeville Posted March 10, 2009 Author Posted March 10, 2009 I'm gonna say it does -- Attractive helps because Ember's not exactly looking at Tabitha's face. And now, I believe, we just need High Note. Kavos, Delemental, go ahead and roll initiative for your characters for... well, for whatever happens starting next 'round'. Jos -- 18! One Cyber-Thug outside (the one Ember Paw saw gun down the two people; he does see E.P., and is not even trying to hide the fact) -- 2!
Cyrith Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 And now, I believe, we just need High Note. Really? What for?
Dr Archeville Posted March 10, 2009 Author Posted March 10, 2009 Really? What for? To post. Everyone's posted this "round" except you.
Dr Archeville Posted March 10, 2009 Author Posted March 10, 2009 Alright, so for the Ember Throw-Down, it's: Ember Jos Iniquity CyberGoon That works quite nicely. Ember knows the Cyber-Goon saw him, but has no idea Jos & Tabitha/Iniquity did. So Ember can react to knowing a cyborg with twin retractable guns in his chest knows he's there. Ecal, your focus is going to be split since Geckoman is dealing with both High Note and Quark.
Ecalsneerg Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Has Geckoman ever seemed entirely focused anyway? ;)
Sandman XI Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Quark hits upon an idea. Going back to his place, he tries to contact the poster of the job online, but fails to find any contact info. Just the instructions to meet him in Riverside Park, between noon and 1:00pm, any day this week. The week's almost over, which means tomorrow's the last day to meet him!!!1!Wait, I thought the job was a week away?
Dr Archeville Posted March 17, 2009 Author Posted March 17, 2009 Wait, I thought the job was a week away? From your PoV, yes, it is. But the week to meet him to discuss it is this week.
Dr Archeville Posted March 17, 2009 Author Posted March 17, 2009 Your initiative stays the same, you don't re-roll each round.
Kavos Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 thats right, i forgot i had already rolled it  *removes so not to create any confusion*
