Dr Archeville Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 Hrm, Jos can't make the Notice check to spot Ember (so I won't even bother rolling). Shame, we could've used him as a practice target for Lady Iniquity
Sandman XI Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 So this means I can't show you that in the other thread :P
Dr Archeville Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 So this means I can't show you that in the other thread .... hunh?
Sandman XI Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Sorry, I was refering to my recent IC post on this thread. Quark just showed Geckoman his metamorphic device. Quark and Geckoman also have another thread going on in Port Regal :)

Ecalsneerg Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Finally, you can call yourseld Quark! How long has it been now?
Reaper Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 I finally made it back to the site. Sorry for the long absence. Has it progressed far enough that Shadowman is out of luck for this?
Dr Archeville Posted February 1, 2009 Author Posted February 1, 2009 Actually, your timing is pretty good. Check the IC thread.
Dr Archeville Posted February 4, 2009 Author Posted February 4, 2009 Geckoman and Quark, make Notice checks. Also, make Intelligence checks. Jos was taking 20 on his Notice checks (hence the prolonged staring) while examining the Claremont kids. That'd give him a 25, easily enough to notice any Subtle power effects (like young Sylar cutting his initials into the tree ) Ember Paw & Lady Iniquity, make Knowledge (Streetwise) checks if you want to see if you know who Ansel Kaars is. Delemental, would you please place a link to your character in your .sig? Thanks.

Delemental, would you please place a link to your character in your .sig? Thanks. Knowledge: Streetwise to ID Ansel Kaars (1d20+7=11) Huh, somehow I accidentally unchecked 'add a sig' on my last post. Should be fine now.
Kavos Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Knowledge: Streetwise to ID Ansel Kaars (1d20+1= 13)
Sandman XI Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Notice and Intelligence (1d20=12, 1d20+11=22)
Ecalsneerg Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Geckoman and Quark, make Notice checks. Also, make Intelligence checks. Notice check, Intelligence check (1d20+5=21, 1d20+1=6) Well, looks like he'll notice something but not know what it is. Cue pointing it out to Quark and having him give exposition? :P
Dr Archeville Posted February 4, 2009 Author Posted February 4, 2009 Geckoman & Quark -- The Int check was to remember that the activity at the Pier is going on next week, not tonight. (It seems to me like your characters think it's happening tonight.) Quark realizes this, Geckoman doesn't. The Notice check was to confirm that there's no one mysterious lurking about. No one around at all, except the night watchmen, which is typical for this time of night. Ember Paw & Lady Iniquity know that Ansel Kaars is the name of a mob boss from the Netherlands, who came to Freedom about two years ago. Last year he and his men -- about 30 total -- were in a nasty shoot-out with the FCPD, but they popped back up six months ago sporting some impressively nasty bionic upgrades.
Ecalsneerg Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Geckoman & Quark -- The Int check was to remember that the activity at the Pier is going on next week, not tonight. (It seems to me like your characters think it's happening tonight.) Quark realizes this, Geckoman doesn't. Wait... I've at no point said the activity was tonight. I said I wanted to find the guys I'd overheard tonight, only with backup. Sorry if I hadn't made it clear enough. I acknowledged the next week here, although I confess to not being very clear on the latter part of the plan.
Ecalsneerg Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Should I be able to find the spot again, or do I need to make some sort of Int/Wis check?
Dr Archeville Posted February 7, 2009 Author Posted February 7, 2009 Looking around a bit to get his bearings, Geckoman figures out where he is in relation to where he was, and (more importantly) how to get there.
Ecalsneerg Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Ok, I'm going to spend one of my 2 HP to use Beginner's Luck on the Survival skill, and extra effort my super-senses to let me use Scent to Track. Survival check to Track (1d20+5=21)
Kavos Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Is there something I need to Roll for Ember to keep up/tack of Tabitha and Jos?
Delemental Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Is there something I need to Roll for Ember to keep up/tack of Tabitha and Jos? For clarity, Tabitha's portals can take her up to one mile per jump. But she doesn't have Accurate, so presumably she either has to know where she's going or see the destination. Thus the roof to roof travel; stand on a tall building, spot another tall building in the direction she wants to go, teleport there, repeat. It's only about 3-4 miles between the Waterfront and the Fens, but I assume there are not conveniently placed buildings exactly one mile apart between Terhune's house and wherever we're going.
