Heya. Here is the OOC for this: link.

 

For now the heroes only have the interrupted newsfeed as a clue of what was going on. 

We can start with an introduction with them approaching the scene, and maybe if they want to research things a little in advance. 

 

The research lab is an isolated facility a few miles south of the city. It is privately owned and so far it has been pretty unremarkable. Although, if anyone is interested in making some investigation before getting on the scene let me know and toss a roll here of a relevant skill and I'll provide you with more infos if needed.

Since we have a lot of people, I was thinking, if it's fine for you, once we get into some combat, what if we set a 4 days limit to post an action? To keep things moving.

Ok! first Mirror knight is going to switch his Mirror matrix array to Self-reflection

 

then his mirror dimension nexus array to Reflection binding (paralysis 10)

 

100 contigous 5x5x5 cubes to snare the police and as many other obviously hostile entities as possible.

 

DC20 Reflex save for half, DC20/15 fortitude save, failure by less than 5 is slowed and  by 5 or more or against the same effect again is paralysi

Paralysis is fort based, gonna need to fix that next edit.

100 cubes are enough to get both the civilians and the cops with ease, trapping them (and much likely keeping them out of troubles for the time being so good thinking) as well as at least 2 of the drones.

The drones however are immune to fortitude effects and ignore the attack.

 

The more reactive of them turn to face Mirror knight. The pattern of vibration of its wings changes. The buzzing generates an environmental control effect - distraction at high severity, forcing heroes who use powers that requires concentration to make a check at DC 15 to maintain them as long as it is operational. 

 

Then it generates a blast of energy with its stinger and aims it at Mirror Knight, but misses with a 16

Alright, as you said on discord, Rocket can hit 3 of the drones with a 100 ft. Trail Area attack, so... gonna do just that.

 

Setting Rocket Speed Array to the Damage effect. Setting Super Scientific Rocket Array to Trail Area Rocket Speed.

 

Moving to the nearest drone and starting the Damage Effect, then moving in as straight lines as possible to the other two nearest drones, avoiding civillians along the way. If you deem any other bees or swarms are caught in the trail, feel free to let them get hit too :D

Let's go with Rocket punching them all a lot of times at super speed as he moves by, so Bludgeoning Damage Type as the descriptor.

 

Attack roll: 22

For anyone caught in the trail that's hit, that's a DC25 TOU save.

Rocket manages to hit all of the drones, with relative ease. However, with one exception, their armored carapaces seems to hold pretty well.

Sorry for being a bit late, got covid, but I think I'm better today.

Queenie manages to KO the Bee Drone she is attacking 14... @EternalPhoenixyou can post IC if you like. 

The two remaining drones generate a beam of energy from their stingers, one aimed at Queenie and the other at Rocket, Drone 3 also chimes in to replace Drone 1 in maintaining the distraction field. 

 

Bee Drone 3 vs Rocket hits with a 25. Tou Save dc is 25 @RocketLord

Bee Drone 2 vs Queenie 11 misses horribly. 

The policemen are paralyzed and skip their turn.

Spending a hero point to double Rocket's dodge bonus until the start of my next turn, adding +13 to his Defense for a total of +38, making the attack miss.
