Diagnosis: Kala suffers from multiple mental-health problems, including learning disabilities such as dyslexia and Anti-Social Personality Disorder. Countless everyday things, from accurately assessing risk to reading a sign, can be serious challenges for him without warning.

 

Enemy: Kala has made an enemy of the anti-alien conspiracy Majestic-20. It has vast networks of agents, few scruples and no hesitation in using deadly force.

 

Family: Until recently, Kala was alone in the world by choice. Now he has parents, a brother and an extended family. Despite his indifference or even dislike of them, his responsibility to them is now a major factor in his life  and may thwart his own interests.

 

Feeding: The symbiotic alien Shesha is still growing, and its energy demands are growing with it. While ordinarily able to perform normally without "excess drain" on Kala's system, it may cause an additional Fatigue condition if Extra Effort is used. As well, Kala may suffer minor injuries, subtle or obvious, as a result of the life-form's activity or growth.
